The fight between Dustin and Benoit was a good fight hopefully Benoit is not too hard on himself you did a good job not saying Dustin was an easy fight but still Benoit is the next military person and as Joe Rogan says he's very talented for who he is in a short amount of time he's been competing
You did everything with Staph infection... What was issue with keeping high guard against great boxer known for head hunting??
He came pretty close to submitting Dustin in the very first round but didn't have enough force to choke him out. He was gassed and knew he couldn't finish Dustin on the ground so he decided to desperately finish the fight standing, this was suicide for sure given he likes to block punches with his face lol
He was completly tired. Hard to keep a guard up when you're tired af

Benoit Is still a high level fighter regardless of him losing to To Dustin, that will be a good rematch. Because Dustin still doesn't have it to get that belt. He's gonna get be. At I'm not saying because I don't like Dustin or do like Dustin. But the person he's gonna rip him up. Sorry, but not saying he's not that good anymore but. Things change people get higher levels and Dustin is a good fighter. But we don't see him getting that belt back at this time.
But again Benoit It is still a force to be reckoned with.He will become a champion someday.Regardless for x military fighter to be To be reckoned with.

Exactly. People forget that this guy dominated Dustin Poirier with a volcano on his head in the 1st round.
Im very confident that he will never be a champion. His stand up defense is atrocious, and you simply cannot have a hole that big without it being exposed at the top level. With that being said I love watching the guy fight and am a huge fan of the excitement he brings. I'd love to be wrong on this one.

@koko580po-sn6xu Hooker took Poirier down 5 times with tremendous ease and easily defended any clinching and grappling Poirier could have possibly have done. Furthermore, Hooker has way better takedown defense rate (80%, compared to Dustin's 60%), better takedowns, better submissions (not just a sloppy guillotine he will never get),...
