Just by a pair of cheap behringer one monitors with a cheap Chinese subwoofer and a small t AMP, all done for all kinds of music.

One phantom ii (98db/900W) is very enough for 500 square ft room depends how your room size
I found a problem in my phantom is
If you planning to listen at quiet volume such as 30-40% they might come off very flat. But give it some more juice (above 45%) and it will sound unbelievable! I think because of the driver is too rely on the wattage.
So if you want 1 pair make sure you are able to turn on above 50% to release the potential.
Does anyone own a pair of the phantom golds with the dialog? I absolutely love the sound, connectivity and look of these speakers HOWEVER, my only concern is longevity. It's a relatively new technology, it is a self powered Bluetooth speaker and from what I hear, impossible to open and repair. I just had a JBL extreme speaker start to have problems ironically a few months after the warranty expired. I'd hate to buy a full Phantom gold set up only to have it start having problems in any way after the warranty expires which would be a huge bummer.
To the gold/silver owners, have you had any problems? Is it smooth sailing and meeting your expectations and enjoyment?

Be honest, formation duo and ls50 wieeless(both of these two are still much cheaper than gold phantom pair) sounds more musical and natural, and of course balanced for me. I used to own these three pairs but then I sold the gold phantom pair after I bought the formation duo three months ago. In terms of enjoyment, these guy got too much deep bass which for me is too dominating and mid and high is not as clear as the other two even the twetter can extend upto 27khz. I don't mean the drivers of high and mid is not good, But the midrange is limited to its size made it not as rounded, clear and that much big scale. Tweeter is great, but again the bass is too dominate, even trying to turn down the bass cannot help much, it does help the mid clarity tho. I feels like gold phantom pair is insanely good for both top, mid and bottom end, but then again it just not as misical. The insane deep bass and 27khz extention is not always needed when u want to enjoy to music. And tonal balance sucks a bit, not matter how strong in the spec sheet, it can't actually reflect the performance.

@@albertweedsteinthethuggeni7797 Similar, but no exactly. Don't get me wrong that I think gold phantom pair are great speakers, insanely deep bass with high definition and punchy. What I mean is that, they actually comes short on high and mid divisions compare to the two speakers I mentioned before. Again they performs great, but there's some regret I would say. The mid/vocal is not huge scale enough to hold up the high quality bass performance, and even high can sound a little bit(just a bit ONLY, not much) harsh to my taste. Still, most importantly is that I don't think they sound musical enough. It's so high quality sound but mechanical, not natural enough. Actually ls50w did suffer in this problem as well, but not as serious as gold phantoms. Just my own opinions, hope it helps.

如果講近期音箱，我幾鍾意威豪X-1，啱哂普通香港細小屋企，音箱同音量成反比。
想問下如果X-1配萬零蚊左右既擴音機，例如DENON同馬仔既萬零蚊擴音機，效果出黎會點？會吾會浪費咗個音箱？
留意返其實X1食數碼amp，所以你反而要留意一下數碼amp，呢一點係我試Lyndorf時發現的，再加上原本設計師當年為Raidho設計擴音機時，都係一部class D amp，更加肯定佢食優質數碼amp。至於萬零蚊日系機，應該唔係最佳配搭了

國仁兄，看完你這段視頻，我終於了解，美國喇叭商Scott Walker Audio推薦我B&W 804D3，而不是Phantom。目前我的B&W 804D3搭配Mcintosh MA5300，我覺得蠻適合，那天國仁兄你可以試試看。
MA5300 推起來會不會唔夠dynamic？我也在尋找804D3的amp。
完全不會。以我家客廳為標準，大約八坪，音量開到35%，鄰居可能會抗議(Amp. run in)。在美國，你會發現，很多B&W喇叭代理商，都選擇McIntosh，參考臺灣音響論壇雜誌所刊登實際案例，也有此搭配，你可以參考看看。

須然到香港賣左成年, 但最近先經常見佢出廣告, 用佢來睇藍光片都幾方便 。
phantom睇片需要調教player的延時，要留意player有無哩個功能，如果唔係會出現聲畫不同步。

問多最後一個愚問：它能否取代傳統音響？（當然國仁的回答不能代表什麼，但我只是想聽下國仁的個人意見）
不可以，因為太一體化，傳統音響可以mix and match從而做到真正適合自己的聲音，呢一點all in one點靚都好都無可能做到。這是我覺得這類all in one音響無法取代傳統音響的主要原因。老實，我情願用Devialet的Amp推一對好傳統的座地喇叭，多過一對簡約的Phantom。當然，有些朋友不需要咁複雜及佔用咁大空間，反而需要一體化，這個另作別論。
