    Tips
    When you don't use the telescope please put it in a dry place, because it is easy to fall off the film and prisms moldy after a long wet of telescope lenses. As the best way to dirt or marks on the lens is to use a cotton swab dipped some alcohol at home or gasoline, so it would be more easy to wipe volatile liquid. Expedition Money LLC

    The price is reasonable but the tech specs are totally fake. The objective size is 42mm and exit pupil is 5.2mm this means max magnification 8x. So It's NOT 16x52 but only 8x42 monocular.

    • @SilvioMaranoSMH17
      @SilvioMaranoSMH17 Před 6 lety +27

      Seems there is also a variant with exactly the same aspect but lens calibrated with exit pupil 4mm able to reach 10x magnification. So if you buy similar monocular regardless of absurd magnification declared you can get either the 8x42 or the 10x42 (the 8x42 is brighter and a bit easier to focus but with less magnification). With these Chinese is really hard understand what you will receive from tech specification, they have insane attitude to fake all data with mad senseless exaggerations, using also tons of different brands for the same product (often fake brands of famous producers).

    • @suvtropics
      @suvtropics Před 6 lety +4

      i've found some 10$ monoculars claiming 40x52 , so this it's atleast closer to the truth, relatively.

    • @kaikart123
      @kaikart123 Před 6 lety +1

      Silvio Marano what do you expect for that price? Also it is MiC so any texts on it basically means nothing.

    • @SilvioMaranoSMH17
      @SilvioMaranoSMH17 Před 6 lety +14

      I have already said that It's ok for the price. The point is why the hell they write such senseless specs. There are also expensive professional monocular that have the same "real specs" of these, everyone knows anything about binoculars and monocular knows that there is a trade off between light and size, and magnification and stability, and 8x42 or 10x42 are not bad and also more handy to use than monocular with higher magnification that would need a tripod. Writing ridiculous and incoherent specs they contribute only to damage their public image appearing like scammers that don't even know how magnification optic works. e.g. a real 40x52 would be physically unusable no matter how they try to build It, there is no way It could work well, but 8x48 could be also a very good monocular, but still a lot of these chinese monocular are advertised 30x52 40x52 etc.

    • @kaikart123
      @kaikart123 Před 6 lety +4

      Silvio Marano They wrote those nonsense to trick people who don't know shit or care enough about it. With MiC products, it is like opening a loot box, you either get a great item for great price, or get literal trash. They don't give a shit about brand credibility because almost all of those brands come from imaginary companies anyway, while the buyers use those nonsense "specs" to brag about it. This is how Chinese culture works, that's why most western companies has different subsidiary or even entirely different company to do business there. It's almost an alien environment.
