Blacksmithing - Forging a small animal trap

- Forging this trap was really fun and challenging, the frame itself had to be forge welded together, and all the small parts has to have a precise fit before the trap will work well. I am super happy with how it turned out! The spring has good tension, and all of the parts operates smooth.

Real blacksmithing there. Forging out parts, refining with hacksaw and file and parts fit exact and operated smoothly. Don't know if you had a blueprint or your own design but great job either way

Loving just how robust you made this one, with pieces being peened in. I became inspired and decided to make a cruciform one like your other one. Interested to see how I do! :)

@@zakisworkshop Absolutely, will do. :) Forged the trigger mount today. Thinking whether to use my nice springsteel for knifemaking, or salvage some truck springs currently.
