The home run totals are based off of while playing a game at that position. So players that have played multiple positions like Trout(LF and CF), Miguel Cabrera, Biggio, or Ryan Zimmerman only get the home run total while playing that position. This makes them less likely to appear.

Trout isn't on there because this list is ranking homers by specific position. Trout's 285 homers are spread out among games where he played different positions in the outfield.

It's by position so Trout is split between the outfield positions. It's all about where they were playing when the hit them.
