R.A. the Rugged Man presents one of the best young rappers in the game, 17 year old A-F-R-O who proves he can go off the head and spit vicious unrehearsed multis at the same time. A-F-R-O was recently involved in a near fatal car wreck and is performing in this video with 8 broken ribs and 2 broken bones in his spine and stitches in his head but that doesnt stop him from spitting an incredible off-the-head rhyme. His mom and dad join him and Hit song maker Eamon is in the session as well in which A-F-R-O mentions "Eamon (Aiming) the gun.

Kid is absolutely INSANE with it. I've seen prop freestyles in the past, but the sheer slick effortlessness of his flow, and the rapid fire multi-syllabic flips make this one the greatest I've ever witnessed. Hate to equate to other MC's living and dead, but he embodies some of the greats like Craig Mack, Blackalicious, Aesop Rock, Big L and Biggie to me. And with RA in his corner, and what looks like two very loving and proud parents, the sky appears to be the limit for A-F-R-O. You got a fan in me from Canada. MUCH RESPECT!!!

This is good but it lacks flow. I have a PhD in rapping and I am also a mod of /r/rapping so please take my advice. You need a better flow like vanilla ice and Eminem and you need more rhythm like 50 cent. Other than that people would pay cash(the mortals equivalent of reddit gold) to see you. this guy is definitely freestyling. I am a freestyle rapper (not as good as he is of course) and I can always tell a freestyle from a written. It's not even hard. Just freestyling a long time you get to kind of recognize the way people sound when they are freestyling. Trust me, it's not written.

I want to emphasize the nowhere near as good part, but the internal rhyming and off the dome spittin about random objects, if it's possible for a bunch of nobodies like me and my friends I don't have any reason to doubt that a young man can come along and just take it to the next level. I can also tell when people are freestyling, since I've been doing it for so long. I can immediately tell a written from a freestyle, and this kid is def freestyling.

As a true lover of Hip Hop, it's always refreshing to see a kid who really wants to be a real Emcee and be lyrical. AFRO props man that was dope. If you follow paths like RA and other legends who didn't do it for the money, you'll always have the respect of hip hop heads out there.

now that it's actually a freestyle, it's at 50% the level it was last time and without the nice metaphors, and I still believe he is a god with the prefabricated segments, he's mastered the way to freestyle incorporating them at any time as he wishes, still a one in a billion prodigy though, it takes enormous talent to this, I'll definitely be supporting his shit

Cus' it's easier to come up with a few metaphors about anything than instantly come up with one about a fucking shoe or a water bottle? There's the element of surprise in this video as well which affects his thinking, like when he laughed briefly as his pop entered. If he was told "make a freestyle about your dad" he'd probably be able to come up with several metaphors regarding him. Not to mention he's handed a water bottle to rap about for a few seconds, if it had been a 3 minute long freestyle about water bottles I guarantee you the rhymes would've been iller.

It's just more difficult to freestyle about an object than a subject. Especially if the object is suddenly handed to you to rap about in a few seconds.
