You can tell they are clean...one of my aunt's used to wear white all the time...I don't care where she went, church, out to eat activities with my uncle, cousins family events she never got dirty. This was way before those Tide pens, I'm originally from the South where you gone get dirty eating crawfish, ribs, gumbo etc...but not my aunt still don't know how she did it lol
