Brunnenmarkt Vienna

Location: 16th, Brunnengasse to Yppenplatz
With around 170 market stalls and 948 meters, the Brunnenmarkt is the longest permanent street retail market in Europe. It is the cheapest market in Vienna and is also called "Orient around the corner" because of its colorful and multicultural ambience. The wide range extends from cafes, bars and Middle Eastern cuisine to regional foods, souvenirs and designer products.

A small market on Thaliastraße that already existed around 1830 expanded over time towards Brunnengasse. In 2009 the former Yppenmarkt merged with the Brunnenmarkt.
After a refurbishment, the market has been awaiting you since 2010 with modern infrastructure and a pedestrian zone on the same level.Location: 16th, Brunnengasse to Yppenplatz
Market-Piazza Yppenplatz
At the Yppenplatz in the north you will find the only firmly walled market stalls of the Brunnenmarkt. Yppenplatz is a popular meeting place and place for cultural encounters with young and old.
Opening hours:
Sales stands: Monday to Friday, 6 a.m. to 9 p.m.; Saturday, 6 a.m. to a maximum of 6 p.m.; the flower shop may also be open on the following Sundays and public holidays: Valentine's Day, Mother's Day, All Saints' Day
Restaurants and bars: Monday to Saturday, 6 a.m. to 11 p.m.; Sunday and public holidays from 9 a.m. to a maximum of 5 p.m
All stands and restaurants must be open at least (weekdays):
Tuesday to Friday, 3 p.m. to 6 p.m
