Thanks for the heads up in Siem Reap. I normally don't have the patience to watch people eating but your humour adds the flavour, and you're right, I'm starving. Guess you Reap what you sow!
Great foods and very interesting places. Awesome pop culture references. You are a very talented videographer! Please keep up the great work. I look forward to visiting too.
Thank you for a great video, I love living in Siem Reap and the restaurants are amazing. Krousar is my favorite, I can also recommend Bang Bang, Paris Bakery, Pomme, Jungle Burger, so many to mention. Move here!
Went to Pomme and tried their first attempt at craft beer. It was good. Bang bang made some really awesome mince pies that we ate on Christmas. Only had coffee at Paris, but it was legit. We missed Jungle burger, but I've heard good things. We also had ribs and chicken at Bonfire grill, and it was amazing. Check that place out if you haven't already.
When we were there in 2019 we kept going back to this great French bistro near the river and I’m so mad I can’t remember the name. Great food, great decor and live music a couple of times a week. Does that ring a bell?
Another funny video mate, loved it when you are that thing that time :) btw I went through the description and found you have a website, I watched a lot of videos from SEA and never knew. Dunno if you mentioned it on the videos but you have some great content, remember to shout it out more, well done
SR road constructions are being completed as I heard. The locals have rice three times a day. Rice for breakfast. Rice for lunch. Rice for dinner. Rice for Life. To be fair, never comb your hair!
I'm hoping to still be in Cambodia. I don't really have any reason to leave it yet, but who knows... Maybe a godzilla like creature will rise from the Mekong and inflict havoc upon the country. In that case, we'd probably move.
@@itchyfeetonthecheap I know you're busy doing your great "Varts", editing and finding cute film clips takes time, but I think you would be super successful in leading your own Culinary and sightseeing tours. Tourists really appreciate tour guides that can speak a native English And have a great sense of humor!
@@itchyfeetonthecheap You could start off slow, give tours 3 times a week. You could make a couple hundred dollars for 2 hours work. And no one says you have to do them sober! Food tours, bar tours, walking sightseeing. So many YTers sell all kinds of merch, it wouldn't be a weird thing, it would be your unique niche 🙂
Love the varts! 💨 Could you please make a video on finding work in Phnom Penh? I'm an ESL teacher but also curious if there are other ways for foreigners to make extra money on the side, other than teaching.
Kind of hard for me to make a video about that cause I don't know anything about it and have never done it, but if someone who's done the job search wants to be in a video, I'd be happy to interview them about the topic.
Yeah I care how they rinse their vegetables. I had bad food poisoning in Siem Reap, but thankfully it didn’t hit me until after our two day Angkor tour.
Hi. Been enjoying your videos. I like a lot of people are getting the boot from Vietnam so I'm coming back to Cambodia. I've spent close to 3 years there. It's definitely getting better. Unfortunately there are no direct flights to siem reap. I usually fly into pp and do some shopping for things I can't find in Siem Reap. I don't know about interdistrict travel. Me and my khmer gf always got a car to take us. So...I take it I can get to siem reap from pp. Just checking. Did you get a car? Or travel on your own. Thanks. And thanks for the videos. Funny as hell.
Hi Ryan, I just watched your updates of Cambodia (after the 15th November lift of entry restrictions). I was wondering, how is it at the moment in the country - e.g.: • Masks mandatory? • Curfews? • Restaurants open? • What restrictions are there? My girlfriend and me would love to fly into Cambodia from Switzerland (via Singapore) and explore the country. We are just hesitant about the complexity of travelling INSIDE the country (they reopened, but how is it inside the country). Thank you so much for your help We will invite you for a couple of beers when we arrive in Phnom Phen!
Fab restaurant reviews. Are you considering some way of replicating a weekly review in a similar vein to the Chengdu City of Gastronomy series? Obviously you don't have a deck of cards to pick from, but I'm sure you'll find some way of selecting and featuring a regarded eatery. Also, when will we see the next Sarah with beer video? That was a fun part of the Ecuador series, you guys have a great dynamic, even more so once she's squiffy!
We always used to have Pho on 09 Street, I think - Chan Kim Lun? To be honest, the food in SR was never that great, though. Looks like it improved a lot.
Hello mr funny handsome singer , can you make a video about the motorcycle on your video 0:16, anything about it and it's very interesting transportation and very useful, arigatou

Food options have increased exponentially in the last 20 years! Usually your varts don't make my mouth water.
🤣
💯 kampot pepper
The Jack Nicholson-reference had me laughing out load 🙂
This video makes me miss Siem Reap! I was actually the manager of Gelato Lab back in 2015 before it moved to the current location

Thanks very much. I'm bad at marketing myself, that's for sure.
Oh god this breakfast muffin looks amazing (not this cheap Mcd. thing which looks like a ready-made frozen dry muffin).

He's half Spanish half French.
A good combination when it comes to food.
Chow fun, haha! Siem Reap is on the list, maybe in 2 years. You'll probably be gone by then, ay

That sucks. Food poisoning during a vacation is a double shit sandwich.
How convenient it is that they have the guy across the street to dig your grave after eating! I laughed out loud!!

There are no restrictions..... masks are required on public transport and some shops and banks. That’s all

I'd love to do a food series here, it's difficult though. Chengdu had so much unique food. There are way more Sichuan dishes than Khmer dishes.
decent food this time
Why do you make it so difficult to find the restaurants? I had a hard time finding it in Google map.
Ayo another video
Sara be gettin' her grub on !!!

There are a few good pho places, but I think the expat owned restaurants have really improved. I'm sure pre pandemic it was even better.
What happens if your order stuff and tell them to hold the lettuce, will I get frowny type faces or no ?
the only lettuce I eat is the devils lettuce !

show us naga 1 & 2 in PP. Are they open?
They are open. Check out their website Nagaworld!

After posting the vid and watching it again I literally said, "I say gelato way too much".
