While going kalka to shimla.. I have specified right side seat in the video.. and at the time of booking you cannot select but while boarding you can request TT to provide the right side seat.. and you can book EC or FC for comfort and view.

Nhi comfortable to doosr toyi trains bhi hai jese Himalyan queen depend karta hai konse coach me booking hai.. jo Deluxe hai isme sare coaches first class hai and baki trains me kuch frst class kuch executive class and second class.. ese... And catering ka start to hua tha but not sure COVID k bad se bnd krdio ho to.

Hello very nice and informative video. Just wanted to know one thing that we are travelling with a kid and our plan to go to kasauli then shimla from ambala. So i was thinking to take toy train ride while we are in kasuli. Its from dharampur to barog 1 hr journey. Is it good enough to experience or we should go for whole journey from kalka to shimla ? Agar sirf 1 hr wala kiya to bht jada miss ho jayega kya?? Bachhe ke saath shayad 4-5 hours jada ho jayega but i don't want to miss the experience also.
Yes you are thinking correct, 1 hour bhi enough rhega experience karne ke lie.. vo alag bat hai ki jitna shimla ke close pohchte hai views thde or better dikhne lgte hai.. lekin apko toy train ka experience Lena hai only to 1 hour sahi hai.. boht zyada kuch miss nhi hoga.

Kyu ki mujhe ticket booking nahi mil raha h.me subha 6 am tak wait karta hu daily magar ticket nahu milta h.kuch time k baad irctc aap open karta hu aur tkt waiting dikhata h.
Plz bhai bataiye kitne waje tkt booing open hota h.

In Rail motor coach, please avoid seats 1 and 2. Leg space is very less. We had a nightmare travelling in the old rail motor coach on seats 1 and 2.

2. Does any coach have ac ?
3. Does seats in different train make the price vary ?
1. One train had this facility but this facility was discontinued after covid. Not sure if it available or not currently.

Yes you can go to railway station and you can travel few stations and come back shimla by bus.
You can go Kandaghat from shimla by toy train and easily you will get bus from Kandaghat to shimla.
