Great tutorials and much appreciated. Extremely helpful. One can do a transition on the underneath item by downloading one of the black and white matte transitions, and dragging it over so both the upper and lower items are highlighted and drop there. You don't get an off white bar like you show in this tutorial, but they work fine and allow a character (on top) to stay on the screen as you "transition" to the file below such as a background.

Thanks for that idea! This was quick tutorial someone had asked for, and I've done some other effects with the page curl transition...but hadn't played with the other transitions in combination with these. I'll definitely be exploring that idea!

      You’ll love CS3! And 1-click transitions :)
Are you in the FB group? Super active, and lots of video sharing and learning. Admins on daily - very connected to their users. This channel is because of their encouragement 😊

Thanks again for your help. Many of the apps tutorials are not up to date with 3.0 which I have. I just subscribed to your channel. I do appreciate your excellent tutorials and teaching style. I'll be viewing your playlists. I just started a brand-new channel geared to young career professionals 20-36 years old. Want to use CS 3.0 for my intros and CTAs for my long form explainer videos.

CS3 came out in Nov, so not as many yet. Good news is most things still work the same, but may be found in slightly different place. They have 3 ways to have UI look now. One of my first tutorials was a video about those new features.
They have an updated user guide on their CZcams in last few weeks, and new tutorials Josh or Will have made you may like, too!
And let me know if any topics could use a tutorial. And if I know how, I’ll make one :)

Hi Maureen. I have a tutorial request. When I add an action, like "wave" it adds it to the end of the clip, usually. How do I move the "wave" and other actions, so I can have it begin sooner in the clip? I tried the position handles, moving them, but does not make my wave start sooner. Thanks. I'm CS 3.0 Your videos are most helpful. Thanks

Sure! Actually, that’s good one because I had some character stuff wanted to do, but needed more.
But in meantime, if this makes sense:
Where you see panel to add actions (I have on upper left, the default, but may be on upper right if you chose other option)
Look to right of each action and you’ll see a delete, and the 3 lines (they call it hamburger 🤷🏻‍♀️)
Move action to where you want in sequence by clicking and dragging it into place.
Hope that’s clear? Can’t add screenshots here (that i can see 🙃)

It’s called CreateStudio! An animation app. I have a link on my description page…it’s their page that explains better than I could. But you can make videos with characters, or without. Take a look at that page if you’d like - and ca definitely answer any questions you have!

Sure! Your username makes me think you take lots of travel pictures. There’s some great effects like carousels - which actually reminds me I have a tutorial on that 🙃 I’ll have to find and post, or update, that!
