- With the steering solidified theres only one major bit of wobblyness left, the rear suspension, so today we go about fixing it.

Thank you for putting this video together. It's leagues ahead of the included instructions. ;) Seriously though. Great job.
If you haven't done up the front yet.... Yeah! Racing now makes a front end kit that *FINALLY* sorts that slopfest of a front suspension, and includes a NEW design Bellcrank - that WON'T strip itself with light use!!! 👏👏👏👍👍😎
Check out Matteo's latest video, to see how it goes... The rear suspension kit (also shown in the video), gives FAR more articulation, less slop, less NOISY BITS, and is stronger!
BTW, your idea of that rear shock extension block.... Bloody Brilliant!!! 😀👍👍 I've GOT to remember that.

Great video, very helpful. I'm using it to install the same kit on my CC-01. Thanks!
Now that I have the cc01 Unimog ( really fun to work on) I looked back at your videos and when I saw you do the articulation ramp, so I did one myself and got 3in from stock.
actually more like 2.5
Excellent build series tiff.
Can you do more videos on the CC01?
Great video. Many many thanks.
Which rear conversion kit would you recommend? The JunFac or YeahRacing?
The yeahracing kit wasn't available when I did the swap, at the time the JunFac was the best looking setup. Right now I'd really look closely at the yeahracing, it doesn't have the skid, but the mounts do look nicer
Does the new suspension help out on the trails or is it all show, no go?
Depends what your goal is. I really dislike bendy, rattly, wobbly parts on my models, stock the CC01 rattles around something cornice. The JunFac kit really tightens up the back end of the truck, the axle is nice and stable.
Performance in the axle is marginally better, the skid reduces the ground clearance, but as long as you keep some momentum up the smoother floor tends to slide over things instead of getting hung up.
Have you heard of the cc01 stroke extension kit
RCMojoTV - you might want to consider smaller spacers between the lower links and the skid... It won't be much, but on a CC-01, ANYTHING helps!!
Nice videos! Thanks, I wonder what have you done to be able to drive so slow, is it another gearbox, motor or? Would be thankfull if you had an answer.👍
It's been a while, but I think the truck has a 45 or 55 turn motor. There isn't much torque, but it's very controllable at low speed
