Animals are true champions who survive the complexities of horror and pain, yet in the end of going through the worst of the worst they have a strong will to live because of the people who love them so much. They forgive and love all those who helped them and protect them. Their unconditional love is so everlasting to the right people. This sweet dog has those people. So glad this was a happy ending.

Exactly, and vets/owners often underestimate the pet's strength and will, and opt for euthanasia. That's the most devastating thing. I am so thankful this couple decide to fight with their precious dog.

We have coyotes in our area,and I live in a city. Usually, come through town about 5 in the morning. We have to be careful to watch our dog when he has to go outside. After seeing this, we will be even more careful. So glad the dog is ok❤
I'm pet-sitting for a dog that looks very similar to this dog. Such a loving and smart dog she is! So happy for this dog's recovery❤
Chewy has such wonderful heart and resilience, and his loving family gave him the best of reasons to survive. I'm so glad they bring each other joy every day. 💕
Thanks to the veterinarians and staff who made it possible, and the carer who scared away the coyotes and got him help immediately.

I miss my childhood dog so much !
I'm 58yrs old and saved her when I was 14yrs when she was a pup until I was 31yrs when she was 17yrs old and had to put her to sleep. She had 3 strokes, was deaf, couldn't see that well and couldn't walk in the end.
Out of everyone that has come and gone in my life I miss her the most and hope to see her again someday.
Her name was Shadow.

I had a beautiful Persian cat that lived to the age of 19. She succumbed to renal failure. She was so special to me and was the most affectionate, intuitive cat I have ever come across. Even though time has taken the edge off the grief and pain, it never completely goes away. Shadow will always be with you for as long as you keep the memories of him in your heart.❤🙏🏽🐾

Some humans still don’t understand that dogs love unconditionally and are much stronger to an humans when it comes to survival. God bless Chewy. I would be so happy that he was Alive who cares about special needs and I also wouldn’t have put him down if he had to be fed by a tube for the rest of his life, sounds like you wouldn’t either . Oh my goodness he’s so lucky to have pet doc’s that could sort him out. He so precious and absolutely adorable,i just wanted to reach through the screen and give him a fuss. In my eyes there’s nothing better than a scruffy pup that gives unconditional love and all they want back is a hooman to dish out love in return.
