  • Plenty of surprises in the old spark plugs I pulled! I swapped them for brand new set of properly gapped Laser Platinum NGK PFR6G-13.
    Thanks for watching!

    Great to see another vid of the Integra.
    I have an LS DB7 that I have pretty much original other then motor redone top to bottom & simple exterior mods like original Type R front lip & visors for side & roof . Wish I can give the car a nice soap bath like you did to yours . Currently having problems with the door lock control module that burnt out on mine. Hope to see more on the Integra soon

      Thanks! I'll be back with another video this week :) I've seen some decently priced lock control modules on eBay. I also recommend the "Integra DC2" group on FB for parts and discussion. You'll find me in there, as well. Peace bud - talk soon.

    Magnet on a stick works well for spark plug removal too!

    Great video. I've bookmarked your video and I'll refer to it when I change the plugs on my 94 GSR... I still have the original plugs in it. Mind you the car only has 88,295 kilometers on the odometer. Nonetheless, after owning it for 25 trouble free years its time to change those plugs.

    why not use an actual spark plug socket with a magnet inside the socket?

    • @GrayItalo
      @GrayItalo  Před 7 lety

      Yep! I mentioned in the vid that I typically do that but had to improvise this time around heh. Thanks for watching and commenting, Fernando! Cheers

    just wish I knew why my tach at idle bounces up and down (250rpm to 500rpm) a bit randomly, but it idels nice and smooth, I can hear and feel the idle.

    NGK spark-plugs are almost always spot on for the gap, Autolite and some others the gaps are way off

    Integra plugs have got to be the easiest ever to change. I can probably change mine faster than the length of this video lol. I use NGK copper plugs and swap them out every 10K-15K miles. Super cheap, too, only about 8-9 bucks for 4.

      Haha yeah I picked this car up a couple months ago and the original owner didn't maintain it at all. I'll be stripping and polishing the valve cover this winter 👍 Thanks for watching!
