As I watched him work with this person, I went along with his instructions and entertained a traumatic experience I had in Vietnam.
Wow. I felt the resolution of the event- it just drained away leaving me with a sense of peace, a sense of being me without a certain background uncomfortableness that has been there for decades. A different me. A me clear. A me not affected any longer. A me with no emotional reaction to a memory of something that always used to produce nausea and upset if I thought about it.

Wow, I cannot believe it has been 30 years since I learned this FPhC as a young therapist eager to "learn the magic" that you demonstrated in a video. I had my initial NLP training with Ed Reese and what really helped me was learning how simple it is, yet very powerful. I have literally used this thousands of times with clients with excellent results. I STILL use it and clients still look askance initially and are shocked that it actually works. Steve's last paragraph at the end of the presentation is pure gold. The rest of the presentation is only platinum.
I tried the technique while the speaker in the film he showed was walking the woman through the scenario. I picked an instance from when I was 3 where I realized that my mother was against me and that I could not count on her. I do feel lighter mood wise. I am going to try that technique on other memories and see if the terror is still there. It may be gone, don't rightly know just now but I will use the results as a "test" as the speaker noted.
I am an inactive certified hypnotherapist so I understood what he was doing, though I have not used this technique. I always figure "if it works it works!"
