Great advice, that's is exactly how I got my channel to grow, INTERVIEWS! I have a teacher vlog and I stated doing LIVE interviews with other teachers from CZcams and the other social media platforms. Now I'm figuring out how to do videos with CZcamsrs without having to actual be in the same space and without saying "hey go to this persons channel" but a way to make it a more of a real collaboration.
Watching this video in 2022 and its still 101% valid. Being actively searching for CZcamsrs to collaborate with and having a lot of Nos is just part of the process. I appreciate your simplified explanation, will continue to reach out until a YES shows up!

Thank you for the tips. So far I collaborate in some fashion with John Hampton in Australia. We're both of about the same age and content compliments each other's channels. We don't do the same thing, but he deals with COPD as I do, he does talk about similar topics, he has projects around the home, and he likes to make up characters in some fashion, where I do puppets but with a theme. I'd really like to find similar creators in the US and possibly close to my area in Nebraska. There are others who I follow and follow me as well, but that's about it at this point.

#growwithvideo was amazing, watched it at 1am and the most important note Sean gave was be consistent which we are not at the moment. The reason was that we believe that we were not as polished as other vloggers and felt we need to do better in the videos, audio, etc. But thanks to Sean kicking our butts again to just post and practice the craft to be better at it.

***BEST TIP*** Make friends in your niche. After a few months of watching their content and commenting on it, you form a relationship. Then when you ask for a collab, in a few months time, they'll say yes because at that point you are asking a friend not a stranger! 👍🏾😊
