I cant seem to get the air out of the encasement so when i sit on my bed it puffs up like a balloon with all the air trapped. Will be trying to suck the air out with a vaccum cleaner to see if it helps

Start at the foot of the bed rather than head (with mattress laying down as if ready to be made) Work cover inch by inch, walking to each side as needed. Then just zip. I did King size mattress cover this way by myself.
