Your detailed food review made me really really want to try Filipino food. I’ve never had it before, but it looks so good.
Oh, you should give it a try!
I love how detailed your critique for each meal is! It really makes a different when you a good childhood memory is attached to food. But I'd say we need more Filipino restos for every part of the world! 😁🤩🙌
We definitely need more Filipino restaurants in Vegas! I'd love to see a fine dining one here!
Of course Im the first to comment! When I worked at the Venetian/Palazzo, I would go there for lunch! And when I visit Vegas, we go there too! Sarap!
Thanks for your comment! It really is such a great deal!
You are like the perfect food critic so detailed
Thank you so much!

I'm not Filipino and don't know too much about its culture or food. So please forgive me if I ask a dumb question. I notice on this buffet there are a lot of "stew" looking dishes. Is this the most common style of cooking or is it just this restaurants focus? For contrast Chinese food has wok stir-fry and Japan has teppanyaki. Here in the USA we roast and grill a lot, but of coarse being a melting pot we have food styles of all varieties.
That's an interesting observation that rings true. Although this particular buffet doesn't include all the types of food Filipinos eat, we do have quite a few popular dishes that are in fact quite "saucy" and "soupy!" Have you ever tried any?😊
@@InandOutofVegas My experience with Filipino food comes from pot lucks where co-workers spouses brought the dishes. They usually brought Lumpia, Pancit, and Picadillo. That's pretty much it; I assume they knew their audience and didn't go too unique on purpose. They brought what was most accessible to the American pallet. I personally haven't had the "saucy" dishes.
I personally prefer Lumpia over similar items form typical Chinese eggroll or springroll items found on buffets here in the USA. The browned ground beef filler has more flavor than the many of the other raw before cooking the whole item you find in the other rolls. When I cook chili or a pasta sauce with ground beef I will sear the ground beef and then render out the fat till I can get the beef to deep fry in it's own fat. The Lumpia ground beef reminds me of this flavor. I will buy the 73% ground beef for this purpose (it's also cheaper). I then drain the fat through a coffee filter and have beef tallow to cook other things with.
Filipino buffet for $18 with good kare kare is a win win already
Most people I know have experienced Filipino food via a potluck or party!🤣lumpia and pancit seem to be the popular choice!@@ohdogwow2
This restaurant's buffet dishes look really attractive
Yes! Thanks for watching!
Hablas español?
4 years of Spanish in high school and in college, but no. Never had the chance to practice with anyone. Lo siento!
Filipino buffet is paradise for Filipinos but not so much for non-Filipinos.
Really? You don't think non Filipinos would enjoy this buffet?
@@InandOutofVegas My husband is American and whenever we go to Filipino buffet, he'd join to accompany me but not to eat. The fact that in order to enjoy every Filipino food must be eaten with rice does not sit well with him. Plus, the lack of vegetables, unlike in Asian buffets na abundant. Overall, it's a bang for your buck.
lookin good while eating bad
🤣Indulge every so often! Thank you for watching!
