Splendor was my bike during my college days from 1998 to 2005. It was a magnificent piece of automotive engineering with a class of an engine and jewel of a gear box. I still remember the munjalshowa (spelling mistake kaanum) shock absorber and keyhin carborator... I enjoyed a mileage of around 75 kmph,. Joli okke kittiyapol vere bikes palathum vaangi. But still my most fav bike is the splendor. Always a nostalgia towards the beauty.

When I bought splendor in 2005 to replace my Suzuki AX100, my boss told me “ this is probably the first right thing you did in your life”….I gave my bike (for a very small price) to the young mechanic who used to maintain it sincerely; when I got my first car.
My boss is no more, I am retired…. SPLENDOR GOES ON
