So my theory is right because this shows MORE especially the bloody fight scene (THAT WAS EPIC, im glad they showed this bloody version so that it covered more depth)
imma also add the little girl, so IN TRUTH
the little girl saw ALL the murders that went down within that game (as we see Orpheus killing Norton by punching him) so this really opened new doors for theories
so this is seriously like MAN OF MEDAN storyline in Dark Pictures games
where, people are *HALLUCINATING* and killing/hurting each other by accident or by defence
So, Norton might have not known Melly was a survivor, he might have thought that she was threat or even a hunter because of the drug that was used before the games have started, on what we saw Orpheus did
So in theory - EVERYONE, ALL OF THE SURVIVORS, thought that they were being chased by hunters BUT in reality, they were hallucinating each other and seeing others as hunters, that is why they are killing/hurting each other
and that all hunters look deformed, tall, or even not at the same length as the survivors
THEY MAY INFACT ALSO BE SURVIVORS - like Jack, Michiko, Luchino, Mary, Galatea, etc, because of the hallucination agent
Let me add some clues:Luchino's 2 letter is a Diary entry,more especific,Eli's Diary(since it the diary owner mention that Luchino was ok with his Owl)
It show that Luchino,Demi and Eli were together on the mansion,having a Dinner

My theory is that every survivor has a hunter counterpart. Norton seems to be similar to Axe boy in weapon choice and stance in the animation. Lucky guy may be hell ember since could be gardeners dad, and maybe all hunters will be counterparts to survivors from now on.
Hey guys, the devs said that during Norton’s accident, he developed two identities as a trauma response, furthered by how he survived in the mine but remembered nothing. They didn’t further expand on the two identities thing, but I think it plays a role here

The new lore has me thinking that the survivors hallucinate each other as the hunters.
First we see Norton go after Melly...then Orpheus goes after Norton..and we saw Norton and Melly as a hunter in the previous animation , and we know Nightmare is hunter Orpheus.
Though I hope that they don't "it was ALL just a hallucination cause of the drugs" this cause there's supernatural elements to the game like Dreamwitch , Hastur and Josephs abilities

I just realized there were two perspectives on the scene where Orpheus was beating the crap out of Norton. The left clearly shows the Little Girl witnessing the scene while on the right, it clearly shows someone was watching from afar...
I'm amazed at how they managed to animate Nightmare Orpheus for a second in 2:23 that confirms the theory that Norton may have seen Orpheus as a hunter.

Considering how Orpheus is confirmed to be ‘nightmare’ and that due to heavy drugging of all participants, they had a high chance of paranoia and thinking other participants are hunters, there’s a chance that orpheus himself could have killed the little girl, but I personally really hope he did not .

Anyone has an idea in the first scene with Melly and the music box? The camera seems to be in the perspective of the little girl, so did Melly know the little girl was there? She looks pretty close enough to see her peeking. Is the music box just a prop? Is it probably something to calm the little girl? Orpheus did also have an interaction with the music box too. Idk if it's just me, but Melly looks sane? Feel free to share other theories with meeee

Theory for Norton and Melly.
Melly:As we saw in this weeks update in-game we see that she tried to push us into a wall. Which leads me to belive she's trying to save the little girl. Melly is also seen trying to take the Little Girl from Orpheus in the previous animation.
As for I HIGHLY doubt that she is drugged.
Norton:Norton has a history of killing people in the gold mines. He is probably by far probably agaisnt Melly and Oprheus from saving the girl. As we see the Girl is shown to be afraid of him. We see get punched by the Detective in the Last animation therefore I think Norton is either Drugged or Trying to kill us on Purpose. His elimination is also a methephor of his death.
Conclusion (Theory):Orpheus is hallucinating his Memories that he lost from the drugs,Norton is canonly dead,Some survivors are fed drugs,The Little Girl has been in more than one game (Possibly escaping herself all the time) but due to the lack of an Adult she is forbid to get out,Melly is possibly dead from the Fire,The Little Girl may be dead.
As for my final Theory
Oprheus is making a false reality in his head from the drug along with his memories (This is a true illness that can happen irl)
melly actually helped my friends and me to kite nightmare with her bees, i think it's just a bug that she push some people into a wall or something, since it happened to one of my friends too jsjsdjsk
Also, i think norton is probably not drugged at all bc he has the need of killing melly. (context: in one of his birthday letters it says that someone is paying norton for killing a woman in the manor, probably melly. I feel like the person doing this is her ex-husband). As we know, norton likes money a lot soo it wouldn't be weird to him to want to kill everyone for getting the whole prize + the money for killing melly.

The reason i think why norton bring axe i think he's trying to save the little girl from orpheus noticed before he punch norton we saw nightmare the fact thats their Point of view as survivor and there melly being hit maybe norton saw her hunter..but melly escaped doing the last cipher

After the break through we saw his pov as hunter then the girl witness they killing each other as a hunter, we saw that she runs away and left the book that book is the one of her ability to keep everyone away from her.... Orpheus keep chasing to that girl, while the girl pov is nightmare ,the girl keep switching that valve till they set the forest on fire...
It sad to say that the girl maybe....

Every action that they take, becomes somebody that doesn't exist with fear factor because of that Drugs.....
Why norton doesn't fight maybe that time he went on normal state trying to stop,, its not easy too when fighting a guy on drugs he/she cant feel pain....
I just realized something, when orpheus killed norton he had normal eyes meanwhile norton had puppet like eyes, does that make orpheus (in that situation) the hunter himself? Because the hunters don't have puppet like eyes (like blood queen, joseph, geisha)
Yeah and when Norton was at the door he had red eyes not puppet eyes
Actually these whole story reminds me of The Evil Within story line, where it was all happened in your dream because of drug and machine, that's why the dead IRL hunter can hunt us and has many skills and the surv too because it was a loop in the dream. As for the clip i don't know if the events are happened in the dream or real world.
Because literally surv are dead many times in the game and then the loop begin again 😂
Beside, the drugs also can make multiple personalities for one of the effects too so even if those survs are survived too and ran away from the manor, it's not weird they'll live with their other personalities like orpheus, whether they were the good ones or the evil ones :')
