Do we have any belt makers in the house?
I make a lot of belts. Love the process. Fun to make.
The only difference is I use Chicago screws instead of rivets.
yea i got you fam!
@Stock & Barrel Co
Very well custom belt you made there Sir.
I am a very large man in size and height. Any how, I am interested in a custom sized belt of that type you have manufacturer there with your great skill.
I've looked at your webpage and not find belts for sale.
Stock & Barrel Co the saying there's more than one way to skin a cat was originally there's more than one way to skin a catfish
Your energy just turned craftsmanship into a damn sport lol. Good video
Cutting the line with your head knife...the "ding" at the end. Perfect.
i know i probably couldn't do that again if i tried haha
i think a longer end of the belt looks quite cool, should not be too short.
Bro, those are sick tools you have. Thank you for showing us how to make a custom belt.
Thanks for watching Martin!
Watching your videos has inspired me to start leatherworking as a hobby.
I just got back into leather making after buying leather two years ago. I have two CZcams channels Mike’s wood shop and the Rinnai guy. I found your channel the other day and love it. Keep up the great work👍👍 I’ve learned a lot from you. Mike

I retired a few years ago and I am looking for winter hobbies, I have a lot of warm weather hobbies that I can make diy leather projects for such as knife sheaths, axe head covers, storage pouches, gun belts, holsters, rifle slings, bed roll straps and more. I'll be watching your videos.
I just really love your energy🙂 thanks for the buckle info
Can you show a simple leather belt making by traditional method with simple tools...that's way lot of expensive machines to make a belt! Your presentation style is awesome too. Loved your video on 10 basic tools on leather craft!
This will be one of the next videos we do, thanks for watching and your recommendations. Thank you!
@@whitandpark waited 3 years for the reply! Now I had a stroke and complete right side paralysis. I can no longer work

Great shop with all the tools. Love it!! I just started out 2 months ago. I started with the belts and then moved up to making Body Purses for my granddaughters. My wife, both my sons and my 3 grandsons received my custom belts with my designs on them.
We love that, and I bet your family is loving it too!
Thank you! Love all your videos and great info for my future belts

I made a roller belt using Tandy leather I bought from Amazon. I came out nice but I didn’t think of smoothing out the edges with beeswax; great video 👍🏿
Just found and subbed your channel. I love your energy and ethusiam!! I've been into leather knife sheath making for about 5 years and have just been trying to expand my leather crafting skills to simple wallets, and belts (just started a belt today in fact). Looked really easy
Amazing...good job...
Thank you!
Dude awesome video. Can’t wait for more.
Thanks a ton:)
This is so strange and helpful, you released this video on the day that I decided to make myself a belt! The problem is, your belt looks so much better than mine! I can’t compete. I’m not too concerned though, your stuff is just remarkably clean, and the details make the product. Either way, I love your company, and you’r content brother, thanks again
13:55 : Special Belt for Left Handed , we love this video, the knife looks good in your hand, brother! Lol
haha southpaw crew! Thanks Geri:)
Makes me want to go make a belt! Crushed it...

Hi Parker, great video. I just want to make a belt now. Kind regards Paul
Thanks im trying to make my first belt.
Really interesting .... I'd like learn about this more.... Nice work bro👌👌👌👌
Got a belt blank that I need to finish up as my work belt has seen better days lol..... I did just finish my 1st field notes cover with 2 card pockets tho. Got a few items to get made yet for Christmas gifts :)
good man
Very nice brother.
Thank you:)
Well this was certainly very helpful, thank you for making this video.
I'm currently making Armor for Live Action Role Play instead of belts but thanks to you I now know how belts are made. Now to work out how to translate the process of making a belt into the straps for securing the armor I'm making in place without accidentally making said armor useless (leaving some form of semi-large gap) in that area. Would it be too much to hope for that you happen to have a video on that sort of topic by any chance?
I’m just starting off. Got my belt leather this morning for exact same project so that’s uncanny.
I’m using rabbit skin glue instead of water. It’s the binding agent in gesso, thin as water, and will seal it.
Love all your stuff, hi from England.
Awesome
I really like all of your posts I made a belt I would like to show you
Espero entiendas español, tus vídeos están muy cool, muy didácticos para los que queremos empezar a trabajar el cuero....saludos desde Tijuana mexico
Great...
Maan... Seeing this gave me so many ideas , also the way you explain and the quality of the video its just amazing, I will 100% buy something from you guys !!! Like , share and Support !
Ну с таким оборудованием можно просто балдеть. Супер!
That "squeeky sound" thingy helped me a lawt!
Bueatiful belt.
Your work is always amazing but he quality of your videos is on point!! Please add you tech specs. I'm dying to know what your shooting and editing with.
😍 wow 😂
Good
Good Thank you my sunanda Belt
To help with the buckle end you can skive it down to help it fold. If you buy belt blanks from Tandy they come that way
Love the jig. Any chance you could make a twin of it? I make firefighter leather radio straps and burnished edges are my weakness
Great video, a quick note from the rodeo/western side of things - we like swapping buckles on our belts (trophy buckles etc), so using Chicago screws on the buckle end instead of double cap rivets might be an option you could offer for those guys. Just my $.02!
Thanks Colin, We don't actually sell belts. I just made this belt for the video. But the chicago screws are a great option. Thanks for watching!
I’m a double xl at heart
Super good work, I want this bukles you sell. thans
When making a bell for XXL or bigger, use a name plate at the back to join two belts together…this will give you length easily. Also it makes three pieces that are better lengths to work with. Good luck 🤞 and enjoy the process.
Hey man, love your content. I found this video after I just finished punching the holes in my new belt by hand lol. Where can I get more info on that tool that cuts the ends and punches the holes?
I stumbled across your channel while searching for making leather belts. I have to say that your videos are the simplest, down to the point, fun and education that I have seen. I am new to leather work and have started out by making belts and watch straps. I have learned more from watch your videos that I have collectively from watching many others. Keep up the great work. You have a permanent subscribed fan here!!!
Great tutorial..8:45 any reason why you did not skive the short section that wraps around the buckle? Most belts have that short piece thinner so it doesn't protrude out when in a pants.. keep up the awesome work!
Please advise a store selling quality belt buckles?
Thanks for the helpful information. I am very new at leather work. Made a couple belts for myself but I see from this video where I could have improved. I bought some heavy leather already dyed black that was on sale at Tandy in Nashville. I made myself those 2 belts and then one for my daughter. okay, 3 for my daughter because I kept making them too short and she is bone thin. Not sure how I did that. I am new to your channel. just subscribed today. :)
A question about buckles. How do I choose which type of buckle to use for my belt?
Hi! Could you make a video to show how sweatbands are made? :-) that would be awesome.
Just starting in the leather craft. I want to make a heavy duty gun belt. What would you recommend for leather? Weight? Part of hide? Double vs single layer? Thanks brother. Love your videos.
When is there gonna be a restock on the site?
Who are these Tandy people? In the UK Tandy is a washing machine maker, there are no supplier like you have. Love the ideas and you products.
Would this be a good first project?
We use Chicago screws or line 24 snaps . people may want to change buckles.
Do you ever use Tokonole or Smith's to burnish and smooth down the flesh side with a glass plate slicker?
Another great vid. Question on belts as I am about to make my first belt for a Christmas present. For the holes at the end opposite the buckle. Is it better to make round or slightly oblong? Trying to decide if I should get an oblong punch or stick with the round punches I currently have.
Thank you! I am a brand new leather worker. Do belts sale well ?
I am making my first belt now and your videos are a big help. Thank you
how do you measure for the oblong hole for the buckle?
❤️
Hi... May i know what brand of splitter you used and how to get it?
Can a buckle be added to these belts???
