  • Hello powerPoint users.!
Animation effects in presentations are a great way to pace your content so you can explain your story step-by-step. We have already seen many tutorials on how to use simple animations effectively, but today we’re going to look at something a little more sophisticated. Sometimes you might want to play a sequence of animation effects in a loop, over and over again to illustrate a particular point. PowerPoint allows you to loop a single animation effect but not a sequence of multiple effects. This Pro trick will enable you to loop a sequence of PowerPoint animations.

I've worked in powerpoint for over 20 years. In all that time, I've never found a solution to looping a sequence of animations indefinitely. If you do a google search, many of the links will lead to a suggestion of placing the animation on it's own slide in a separate file, then linking to that file from the original deck. This solution is unacceptable to many clients. Meanwhile, your solution solves it more neatly. If you have the time, I urge you to look at whatever you can do to drive your video to the top of search results for anyone looking for a way to loop a sequence of animations continuously. Thank you for taking the time to make and upload this video.

😃 The first bit, I can already do , but wow! 5:38 onward. Simple, but not intuitive. I'm amazed!

Update, I found that I didn't have the record function on my PC, (maybe I have on my work laptop, I haven't checked.) Tried using any old audio file instead. I used it not to make a copy of your content, but to make an animation of the moon orbiting the spinning earth using 3D stock images. Anyway, it worked, so it would seem that if you can't record an audio, a pre-recorded one will do just as well. Shared with my work.

It looks like this doesnt work on the 2019 version. Or maybe not when the animations are to long.
I tried this with several images, with a total time of 1.06 minutes. But the audio file doesnt repeat it self. It think I did all the settings right.

It should work as I use this trick to show many repeated robotic simulations. Yes, sometimes this audio doesn't repeat this loop and i feel computer's RAM memory is the key reason for this.
