Instructions not clear I now have a forest of strawberries
Strawberries really do be taking over gardens outchea.
😂😂😂 I always chop most of these 'moustache' which strawberries produce to grow baby plants. I leave a few and control them 👍🏻
If you don't want all of those I'll gladly take half😅😅😅
And why are you complaining? That's heaven
Exactly what happened to me. I don’t have a lot of space for growing, so I ended up just ripping them all out because they were taking over.
One thing she forgot is that you really need *one* plant. Strawberries produce offshoots like crazy, you cut 1 off - they make another 10. Those offshoots find ANY piece of soil and grow roots. They can be gifted to friends, or used to grow your "farm". However if you don't need them - it's best to cut them constantly so that the plant produces more berries
Sorry, where do you cut?
@chacha2244 even in dry environment? Such as middle East?
So true. My family had a decent sized patch of stawberries at one point, but now they grow wild, and we can't even pick them all before they get too ripe and fall off or get eaten by bugs.
@@rosieleavertongift them to your neighbours😊
When I planted strawberries I only got one tiny one and then never got another one again
Make sure to always use the seeds of the strawberry you like the smell and taste of most. Overtime the plants will continue to improve
That means you will take the strawberry into your mouth and eat to taste it then u take out of your stomach and plant it💀💀💀
@@SHOAIB_MAHTAB_HUZAIFAorrrrr you can slice off a part and taste them and cut the slivers from the one u liked most?😅
@@SHOAIB_MAHTAB_HUZAIFA a little extreme. You try it first and let me know the results. Personally I don't actually like strawberries I grow them for others.
@@SHOAIB_MAHTAB_HUZAIFAduh obviously, you should try it too
@@SHOAIB_MAHTAB_HUZAIFA well yh the plants off that one strawberry plant will be similar in taste, so if they produce better tasting strawberries than maybe another strawberry plant those with sweet steawbaerry plants can be bred. Isn't this taught in schools, like selective breeding?
Alternative title "how to become hyper aware of and hate all squirrels near your house"
Strawberries repel squirrels?
@@BhavyaJha007 Nahh!! They meant the squirrels are gonna come digging for strawberries making a huge mess in the process making her hate those little floofies!!
I’ve heard some people plant garlic or onion near the strawberries to deter squirrels. If you live in a place with wild onion/wild garlic/ onion grass, you could transplant some of those into your garden bed
@@lazypando3663sounds like city squirrel. They are more scavenger then ones deep in the wilderness. They don’t bother my strawberries at all. But I live very remote and the squirrels have an abundance all around them so my strawberries are pretty far down on their list . Specially when there are tons of ground predators in the woods.
Thats what squirrels do with pomegranate 😁
“Free strawberries for life!” 😁
*once a year*
Just letting you know that is you pick a strawberry off from the plant that cause even more strawberries to grow over time!😊
Yeah this is how its supposed to be. We eat fruits that are in season, be it once a year.😊
I mean if you can grow a bunch of them then you can freeze em!
If you've ever grown in a greenhouse or flood and drain indoors, that's not entirely true. You can replicate the ideal environment with heat lamps and proper nutrition levels. 😊
once a year...for life
I did this 57 years ago. Still enjoying my strawberries.
Is this really work 😮?
Yes son. Do it and you’ll have free strawberries for life.
I love when there's things about getting free food and it's just gardening.
Gardening becomes exponentially more expensive depending on where you live and if you are genuinely considering your plants to put a dent in your food budget
You thought she will tell you how to get a doremon multiplying gadget
Strawberries got to be the prettiest and cutest of fruits! I wonder if fruits know other fruits are pretty 😂
That's such a pretty thought in itself ❤
Banana is cute too
Awwww ❤
They lack a conscious brain, so the answer is no
😂😂 you think just like me ,
I love these "infinite free food hack" and its just gardening lol
Just be aware unless you live in a sunny (no frost) moist area your strawberries may not grow they are VERY temperamental
Did you know that you are supposed to cover them during frost times like many other plants? Shockers. I am from Eastern Europe and my grandma has the absolute best strawberries despite heavy frosts being the standard here
It's April, it was freezing the last few days (-3 ° C at night) and our strawberries are blooming. Czechia can get very cold, and we have these strawberries outside for the third year now, and they are amazing, producing a lot of fruit all summer well into the fall.
Well we have strawberry plants in Sweden outside. We get alot of freezing winter days. But the strawberry comes back to life every spring
Can I grow them in tropical region it's pretty hot and humid here
Tip: Try local strawberries. They will already be a variety that is acclimated to your climate.
Bro discovered agriculture 💀
How to grow 7 strawberries per year
Snort
💀💀💀💀
And have all 7 stolen by f-ing birds, squirrels, and chipmunks
It's better to dry that skin and seeds a little. I tried your method few times and it always rotten. It's better to make seed dry before you use them 👍🏻 or just buy some seeds, they are a lot cheaper than the strawberries from the shop 😉😉😉
I can't get my strawberry seeds to germinate, do you use cold stratification? Or just put them in soil?
@@alwaysinspired123 I put them on the soil and don't cover with the soil (like the celery). Just cover it with cling film to keep it moist 👍🏻 but it doesn't always grow.
@zuzannawojcik9601 thank you for that 🙂
This is 4th video, where I saw your comment zuzanna 👀 Is CZcams recommending me videos that you like 🤔
@@SayantikaSarkar007 no idea, it's possible 🤔
Another great way is to take the slices and place them on a paper towel and wait a couple day's for them to dry. Next, scrape off the dried seeds and plant!
Dsng thats lowkey smart
Yeah but that looks like more work or like I guess if you need more of the seeds to plant more strawberries. If you live in a tiny apartment it's better to keep it small.
It does take a little for it to grow though to the normal size of a strawberry. The first year the strawberry will be really small but over time they will get bigger mine took 2 to 3 years hopes this helps.❤❤
How much/little are you supposed to water it??
@@worlds.beyond_every two days or until the top soil becomes a little dry
How often do you get to eat strawberries from that?
Her:“Put is somewhere sunny indoors”
Me:”No can do ma’am, I live in England”
Use a greenhouse
Not my dog eating it immediately when it’s ready 😂
bro re-discovered farming
She's a woman
Wow, what an incredible idea I'm definitely gonna try. Thanks! And, you have a beautiful Colegate smile that won't quit!
me laughing in tropical climate because 1. she needed to cover it to keep it humid and 2. that strawberry isn't growing here 😂
As an Indonesian who now live in Germany and just recently moving to an apartment with a balcony, I was pretty shocked when my coworker told me strawberry is pretty robust and one of the balcony plant for beginner 😂😂
I live in a humid area. Does this mean it won't grow here? Or does it do best in humid areas?
So you're laughing because she doesn't live in a nasty humid environment and she can grow strawberries there unlike you? Interesting sense of humor
My mom planted strawberries about 10 years ago in a confined garden near our house which grew well and began growing outward. There are now strawberry plants hidden in the grass everywhere on our country property, I’ve seen small strawberries over a hundred yards from the original plant.
snails : snack time boys!
Omg shes amazing
Love her smile
What time of year should you start planting it inside? And in what weather can it go outside?
She just discovered Agriculture after 10s years later
That’s how my squirrels get free strawberries for life…
Is this how this vivacious gal got such a bright smile? Yep, strawberries also whiten teeth❤
at my house, the place i live the ground and climate is perfect for growing all kinds of things, we have 2 100sqft blackberry bushes that we could never control and now they are producing a plethora of the yummiest blackberries i’ve ever tasted, such an amazing feeling
You really got a tan in that sun while the strawberries were growing 😂
We ending world hunger with this one 🗣🔥
Your smile is a gift , like Sun in the morning😃💐
No way! The part of the plant which purpose is reproduction allows you produce more plants!
But without being so salty, this can possibly bring unexpected results. Some of the plants in the shop are hybrids, and the one you grow yourself might be really different. Same species ofc, but it can be different shape, taste, etc. I bought some tomatoes and for some reason several seeds sprouted inside, so I let them grow. The final result was nothing like store tomatoes, smaller and more sour, but it's fun.

Love how she's always 😁
omg should i do this with those expensive japanese strawberries
Yea you can but I would suggest you to first dry the strawberry skin or the seeds
@@Jenniferr_17 how do you dry them? Won’t they mold if I just let them sit?
Wow, just learned something Japanese strawberries, thanks for sharing that, is there a difference?
The strawberries you have in that bowl are not home grown girl !!!!!
The bunnies of squirrels that roam my backyard will be happy.
Bro discovered agriculture
How beautiful the baby strawberry was🥺
Tysmmm! Now i have so many strawberries! I thought it wouldn't work, but it did and i haven't bought strawberries since last year 🍓🍓🍓🍓🍓🍓🍓🍓🍓🍓🍓🍓🍓❤
How much should I water it
Incredible! Gardening blows my mind! 😲
Soil mix was fab n needed to be discussed alongwith the fertilizers added.
You're so pretty omg 🥺 You're like a sunshine
Gay
Tell me why I tried this and my after a few days my strawberry disintegrated into mold 💀🙈
I have the same, I'm gonna give it a couple more days to see if anything sprouts, the mold can be its own compost so I don't think it has to be bad. Otherwise I saw another comment to dry the skin and/or seeds first, might do that if this doesnt work:)
I think i’m going to try this but any tips to keep animals away?
Amazing.. Gonna have to try that .. Thanks !!!!
Winter 🥶: here I come LIFE
Love the step by step
Wow, so cool. Going to do this with my kids.
One thing she forgot to include was the part where the strawberry skin molds before she dumps it and restarts with a clean seed.
Woow superb!! Thanks for the instructions!!
WHAT A SMILE!!!!!! 😍😍😍✨
Take care of it and get your reward
You are awesome. Thanks for sharing the knowledge 😊👍👏
Its crazy how people who didnt pay attention in school act like it's a crazy new thing when they learn how plants work.
You have a gorgeous, genuine smile
TYSM! Now I have so many! 😋
that's the cutest strawberry that I've ever seen 🥺♥️♥️
I'm very excited to try this 💞
Great information. Also, it is very easy to follow
Thanks dear never knew this but i will be doing this
It works amazing. I didnt try them but the squirrels loved them!
wow, much easier than drying the seed, scraping and then planting. i have some strawberries in my frig now. gonna go try this
How did it go for you?
@@AnneZomerdijk-nv9ye havent tried it yet. major weeding and planting to do to get my seedlings in the ground. but will

Like Are you actually whole, woman?
Wow
Thank you for these
Wow so amazing how simple it is to grow i love stawberries
"baby strawberries" is funny.
That's actually crazy and impressive
After a while you have to cover them from the animals outside that like strawberries too. Birds eat these also.
This woman invented planting
And in just 5 months, you got yourself some strawberries brother
Bro just invented farming 🤯
I need to have a long life to enjoy this 😆
Sister rediscovered agriculture
😭🎀bruhhh aesthetic of this one vlogggg!!!!!!
The seeds are actually outside of the fruit so its actually not just the skin!! Very cool!
i have a whole line in garden covered with strawberries now. best part is ones it planted and ready to grow all u need is to water them
In few weeks!!🤩 I m going to plant 🤩🤩

She discovered farming! 👏👏👏
She just taught farming like a life hack
I live in Mexico just a few miles from Driscoll Farms. Strawberries for life
You are stunning 😊
Now all i eat is strawberries.
instructions not clear i became a gigachad strawberry
Try to record the voice-over in a more sound-dampening space, it will reduce the effect of echoes and greatly improve audio quality!
Im going to try that
There is a problem though. Strawberries grown commercially are typically hybrid varieties that are bred for specific characteristics such as size, taste, and disease resistance. These hybrids often do not breed true from seed, meaning that the seeds do not produce plants identical to the parent. As a result, the offspring can show a wide range of traits, often reverting to smaller, less desirable fruit.
Great vid.
What type of soil should be added ?
