Allah SWT will forgive our major sins if we say this Dua'a with the conditions of repentance
Jami` at-Tirmidhi 3577
Please make it a habit to recite this Dua'a thrice in the morning and thrice in the evening
أستغفر الله الذي لا إله إلا هو الحي القيوم وأتوب إليه
Astaghfir ullah-alladhi la ilaha illa Huwal-Haiyul-Qayyumu, wa atubu ilaihi x 3 times
I seek the forgiveness of Allah, there is no true god except Allah, the Ever-Living, the Self- Subsisting, and I turn to Him in repentance)
Hadith
Our Prophet Muhammed SAWS said who say this his or her sins will be forgiven even if he should have run away from the battlefield (while he was engaged in fighting for the Cause of Allah)
There are some conditions for repentance which we need to follow
1. Admit our mistake / sin to Allah
2. Regret the sin we did
3. Seek Allah's forgiveness and repent sincerely back to him (This Dua'a)
4. Make a promise to Allah that you'll do your best not to repeat this sin again
In case you fail as human
Good news once again 🌹
Sincerely follow the above steps and repent again
*Allah SWT promised that he will always accept our repentance as long as it is sincere*

8. GO TO THE MASJID AS EARLY AS YOU CAN
9. WALKING TO THE MASJID
10. LISTEN TO THE KHUTBAH OF JUMMAH
11. PRAYING 2 RAKAT (Tahiyat-Al-Masjid) BEFORE SITTING DOWN IN MASJID.

عن شَدَّادُ بْنُ أَوْسٍ رَضِيَ الله عَنْهُ، عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى الله عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قال: «سَيِّدُ الِاسْتِغْفَارِ أَنْ تَقُولَ: *اللهمَّ أَنْتَ رَبِّي لا إِلَهَ إلا أَنْتَ، خَلَقْتَنِي وَأَنَا عَبْدُكَ، وَأَنَا عَلَى عَهْدِكَ وَوَعْدِكَ مَا اسْتَطَعْتُ، أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا صَنَعْتُ، أَبُوءُ لَكَ بِنِعْمَتِكَ عَلَيَّ، وَأَبُوءُ لَكَ بِذَنْبِي، فَاغْفِرْ لِي؛ فَإِنَّهُ لا يَغْفِرُ الذُّنُوبَ إلا أَنْتَ.* مَنْ قَالَهَا مِنْ النَّهَارِ مُوقِنًا بِهَا فَمَاتَ مِنْ يَوْمِهِ قَبْلَ أَنْ يُمْسِيَ فَهُوَ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ، وَمَنْ قَالَهَا مِنْ اللَّيْلِ وَهُوَ مُوقِنٌ بِهَا فَمَاتَ قَبْلَ أَنْ يُصْبِحَ فَهُوَ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ».

Here are easy way to beat bad dreams which are from Shaitan
1. Do Dua'a and 5 daily prayers
2. Avoid music and watching scary videos
3. Recite these short verses of Qur’an before bed
A) Surah Ikhlas, Falaq and Nas
Prophet, sallallaahu ʻalayhi wa sallam, said to one of his Companions, "Recite Al-Ikhlaas and Al-Muʻawwithatayn (Al-Falaq and An-Naas) thrice in the morning and evening; they will suffice you against everything." [Abu Daawood and At-Tirmithi]
B) Ayat Ul Kursi
"By reciting it, there will be a guardian appointed over you from Allah who will protect you during the night, and Satan will not be able to come near you until morning"
C) last 2 verse of Surah Bakarah
Abu Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said: “Whoever recites the last two verses of Surah al-Baqarah every night, they will suffice him.” Narrated by al-Bukhari (5009) and Muslim (808).
May Allah SWT bless and protect you from all types of evil
