I really like your decision to go with wamer colors for the base. Totally helps the statue stand out and keeps the color scheme from being monotonous. Great work!
Thanks, for taking the time to watch. Welcome to the painting pantheon.
Love how the metallics came out! Awesome job on the kit.
Thank you, thank you!
Loved this process, thanks for going through the steps so precisely. Great video, man!
Thank you for watching and the kind comment.
Looks good. I really like how the coloring of the paint on the cape ended up!
thanks brotha
Great job with this! Your approach seems quite "fast" and fun! 😎 The end result is really great, I hope to some day print this statue myself !
Thanks I try to make them as straight forward as possible.
Your painting skills are phnomenal! Thanks for explaining what your doing as you go, it helps us noobs!
Thank you, I am glad they have been useful.

Great job again brother!!
Thank you.
Bro, your painting videos are kind of making me want to paint again.
You should, it's hella chill.
Amazing job I’m very new at painting hope I can do it
I believe you can. Some techniques/tools take a bit of practice, but are well within novice to intermediate skill level. I know cause I'm far from a pro. Welcome and thank you for the comment.
@@waiyapaints Are there any tools you would recommend as a beginner? Maybe you can make a video on this topic :)
thats a great idea I will!
Cool voice bro!!! Awesome Job!!!!
Thanks.
Starting mine atm, did you have issues getting the base together?
Due to the spiky rocks on the base, it's a hard fit. I had to break a few of the rock spines off because they kind make it impossible to get it all the way down. I think it took breaking around 7-8 or so. Even then I had to find just the right angle then twist it on. It was kind of a poor cut to be honest, hope this helps.
@waiyapaints ahhh okay, yeah that was my thoughts too, a few of their older models are a bit like that. I might just get the dremmel to it and then fill the gaps with milliput
For me since they were mostly under the column and well hidden, I just left them broken. And yeah there are more models from them that have this issue. Like the original archangel and human torch have flames around his feet that require breaking to get in.
@waiyapaints ohhhh christ, hopefully they fixed that with the latest archeangel! Finally got that human torch too but I'm not sure if I'll work on that one as of yet. They've definitely gotten a heap better in the past year or so, amazing sculpts as always but yeahh the old presupports and cuts are iffy to say the least haha
