It’s good to see Kz making a decent set. My first set of iems was zs10 pros. Before that I hadn’t really experienced quality audio and at the time I was so blown away that it sent me down this rabbit hole. Despite their missteps in recent times I want KZ to be successful and do good things for our hobby.
Zs10 pros were the first high quality audio I have ever experienced as well. I seriously think that listening to audio from them has improved my sense of hearing. Lol there are so many sounds coming at you at once
My first set was also the zs10 pro but they didn't have any bass so I never listened to them. I thought that's just how they were and I didn't get why they were popular. Come to find out it was during their quality control issues but it's too late for me to do anything now. Then I got the OH10 and proceeded to laugh and shit myself at the same time because I had no idea bass like that was possible. I went from one extreme to the other lol.
Yeah I stuck with KZ for a little bit. Like three pairs then got the Blon Bl-03 then TinHifi T2 then back to KZ up to the ZEX Pro. And we all know what happened there, though Iust say, they still sound pretty damn good. I remember how everyone genuinely liked ZEX's until the drama started. Also KZ makes the best Bluetooth Adapters AZ series of adapters is about as good you're going to get.
if a KZ got reviewed by you again, means there is something that made this iem pique your interest and wow, the graph, the scores, and how you describe everything about ZVX make me want to buy one for myself even tho it's KZ.
Thing is when KZ try they really can make a good IEM. They are often pushing new tech all the time or trying something new and it's why they release so often, it's like they are using their customers to demo their products to find what sticks and what doesn't and then occasionally they release and IEM that nails it because it takes things from past models and makes the most of it.
I'm liking this spider graph representation quite a lot, honestly. Easy to understand and paints a clear picture. It appears that KZ is slowly beginning to steer into the right track. Having seen the LingLong's frequency response, it immediately gave the the impression that KZ is changing for the better. Great review as always
Hey there's kz again. I gave my first 10 pro's to my wife. Cheap iem's are getting better all the time. I love the tunning of my new qkz x hbb. I just listened to my new Simgot ea 500 for 4 days. Bought them for 69 euro's . I am impressed. Love this hobby.
kz is improving its tech. personally i like many products of them. Zs10 Pro X is the one that i like most. Thanks HBB for share for us this information

With these recent sets that KZ has been putting out, it seems they've really learned their lesson from that "Dud Driver Fiasco". Other reviewers have also mentioned that KZ is now also much much more receptive to constructive criticisms, inputs, and suggestions from reviewers as well as the audiophile community. It's nice to see KZ turning over a new leaf; i myself like KZ. i'm no audiophile, but i've always had an appreciation for good audio but don't have money to burn on expensive real hi-fi speaker systems and iems. KZ has made it possible for people like me to be able to afford and enjoy better sounding audio products such as iems, that before would just be an audio luxury we just can't afford(i remember those times when decent sounding iems are fetching prices equal to, and even more than, a month's average rent here in the Philippines). By the way, as i'm writing this, i am enjoying Damian Marley through my recently bought KZ ZAS, which got a solid rec from HBB 👍👍; and which many also say is still better, specially in the bass and sub-bass area, than its latest revision, the KZ ZAR. ...now saving up for the KZ PR1 PRO😊

Having owned these for a minute now they are my favorite iem in my collection.. i blew out the salnotes zero first day I had them lol..this one kills the kz zs10 pro x oh and so comfortably you i can easily sleep with them in...love that.
not gonna lie kz is the brand that made me jumped into this rabbit hole. it is good that they now can catch up to the competition in budget segment nowadays, but i never gonna forget about that DQ6S and CRN back then.
As someone who is always on the lookout for budget-friendly options, I'm definitely intrigued by the KZ ZVX and may consider giving them a try. Overall, it's encouraging to see the budget segment getting better and more competitive, and I'm excited to see what else KZ has in store for us in the future.

Interesting design choice with the triangular hole. Sub $20 is wild these days, i have so many sets now...but hey to me, 20 bux here and there when an interesting set pops up is not a big deal... i have to explain to my partner why i have so many damn iems 😅

Nice to see you covering KZ’s standout sets after the… issue… a while back. And this one looks surprisingly good, especially with your comparison to the Hola. You also make a good case for shipping IEMs with foam tips mounted. On the topic of your hard-to-fit ears, I know you like SpinFits, but the Final Audio E-Tips may be a good backup for when they aren’t doing the trick. They’re just a little more stiff, so you can (still comfortably) force a good fit with them better than with the SpinFits. Their impact on the sound is also more similar to SpinFits than most other aftermarket tips that I’ve tried.
Owned a few Kz sets , and have lost either the right or left iem due to the cable connection. So I would recommend buying a aftermarket cable if you plan on getting any Kz set. Bang for the buck though is what keeps me purchasing these budget sets. 👍

My first IEM was the KZ SZ10 pro and I still like it. It's great to see that KZ might be getting back on to the right track after the whole 'situation' happened. Hopefully they can come up with some gems in the future. Great video!
That "situation" happened to be my first set of IEMs. I didn't understand why the ZS10 Pro was popular when it had no bass. They still got me into the hobby though. Funny how things work out.
I've found the tonality and dynamics on the ZVX to be far superior to all the other sets I've heard in the price range recently, however the timbre in the upper register is a bit too sharp for me. Other than that I think the ZVX is a great set.
Agreed. have like 5 budget sets, and i'd rank zvx rank 1 or 2, either ahead of the 7hz zero or below it depending if u like bass or not, its a bit to much treble in the upper register. but u can eq it. I

I have always been a KZ fan and this set is why. Great quality for the money and they keep trying to make a better product. Nice review.

I did really love my KZ ZS10 Pro back in the day. I used to use them at work all day long for about a year.
