- A how to video to swap out your sv650 suspension with a gsxr750/1000 front end suspension. This is a great upgrade for your sv650 as the forks are much better and more adjustable. Brakes are also an upgrade compared to the sv650.

If you has frame sliders you can use them as a place to put jack stands and gives great stability and nothing in you way. Thats what i do for my 3rd and 2nd gen

Hi there, I’ve got a 2014 sv650, just wondering what year gsxr’s I can use that will fit?
@@rgray25 mine was an 01 sv650 and don’t know if there are major differences between the 2 but from what it seems it looks like there’s quite a bit of front end that will work with the sv. Just do a quick google and I’m sure it’ll show up.

what years sv/gsxr are compatible?
There is quite a bit of gsxr suspension that are compatible. I believe mine was a 2002 GSXR 1000/750. If you google SV 650 GSXr front end swap, you will find a lot of information for different front end that are compatible.
Did you get the bike with full fairings ? Do you know any place to get the fairings ? Aftermarket is fine
Yea it has aftermarket fairings. I’m not sure where it came from as it was already installed when i got it.
Damn so this only works on old bikes. I have a '23.
The newer suspension Is probably not as bad as the older stuff.
@BuiltByRich its very nice actually, but would love something I can max out the bike with. I'm a handling guy, not a stoplight ape.
