This movie was not cheesy and will never be!!!! The talent is incredible....Look at the talent and the dancing...It can never be cheesy!!!!! This movie is a legend and it's legacy lives forever and ever!!!
Funny how I came to like and appreciate it more when I got older.
So many good memories as a kid
R.I.P OZONE. Your spirit will live on in our generation as one of our urban movie hero's. What a great legacy to leave.
Sad .. the government is responsible for covid.. that took Ozone away from us .
When they hugged at the end and you saw the raw emotion on Ozone's face almost brought me to tears. You can tell this wasn't just a movie but a movement and a new wave of dance. A couple of quote on quote "street dancers" help define a generation!!!!! RESPECT.
well said brother!
yea thats what i always loved about this scene. they bonded forever right there. the steadi cam shot was excellent
Yup
I felt the same when I watch that last hug. That wasn’t acting. That was real.

Mine too. Years have passed and still love it 💚
I love everything about this movie and the song playing was a big deal when it came out and the dancing tht went wt it.
For all us 80s kids, part of our childhood has died
Real talk
Still no evidence of how he died
😭

👍
This clip is entertaining and inspiring. He wanted their moment to shine and to prove their talent. And not to be denied. They danced their hearts out and were appreciated. I love the celebration when they finally made it.
Absolutely. Never give up and overcome your obstacles 😉
just heard the very sad news that Adolfo Quinones has passed away at the youthful age of 65.
Rest In Peace, Ozone 😔
😐 didn't know. Still young and an amazing dancer. This movie will keep him alive 💚
My mother died Christmas day, I know Adolfo is showing her his dance moves and she is smiling. Rest in peace to them both.

God may have needed her and with all of the warmth and love she gave you and your family, God has just received one of the best Christmas gifts ever. Stay strong and know she is watching over you!🙏🏾....and don't count her out, she might be showing Shabba doo a thing or 2!
A movie that me and my brothers watched over and over and over and over and over again ...
Me too ! In 1989, i was 10 and my brother was 15 ! I am french !
Yeah watched over and over and over indeed
Also Beat Street
same bro with an extra over again :D
Thank you lord for allowing me to witness the 80s, music and fashions.
Ifeyinwa Burson it was all downhill after that.
Amen. The 90's sucked.
80s kid here! I found the 90s were when it started being cool to hate on anything popular. Hence grunge and flannel and the slow spin down the bowl ever since for the most part. 80's Pop culture will never come again.. but if it does I'll there! Just my 2 cents.
I was born in 1984 in away I wish I have been older to experience this first hand in my opinion the last great decade for culture after the 80's things became diluted the 90's for the first 4 years was a hangover because the 80s was that good that's my opinion of course.
Amen!
This clip was so inspirational. No matter where you come from or who you are you can make it. I wish I was 14 years again. That song was awesome.
Sarah Thomas when I watched this film first time I was 16 year’s old.I am from china 😊.now I am 48 year’s old.....
Oh wow.i was exactly 14 when the Music and dance take the centre stage.
I was 10
I was 12! 😰
11 at the time. so much fun. 2020 freaking sucks
Man..I Want back 80's...
Muhammad Indra you know this guys deserves to win . It is not depend if you are or poor is about love compassionate
I mean if you are rich or poor is about love and compassionate. I very like old school and I love it
I am so sad to hear about Ozone, may he rest in eternal peace!!!!
I used to do all that crazy breakdancing myself back in the 80's too. Can't do it anymore. I TOTALLY MISS MY YOUTH!!! I hope that I can dance like this again when I get to HEAVEN!!!
Special k left her dance friends to rock with them. Turbo was just happy dancing in the streets.
They both sacrificed to help their friend ozone get to his dream.
Awesome
Fly High Shabba Doo one of the best Break Dancers in history.
greatest sequence in the history of all cinema
The hug scene of them all
Together was so real with
them hugging and the camera

I saw that "Ozone" has died today (well, yesterday, as I type this in the wee hours of the morning).
RIP.
Thank you ozone for making my childhood the best . R.I.P
Rest in peace, Ozone! Loved both movies!!😢😢
My first cousin Ollie Brown is performing at the music, he's the drummer, Ollie.Michael Borders production.
Awesome! How did his song get chosen for this film?
That is so super cool!
driving from San Antonio headed to Houston tears in my eyes rest in peace ozone I was just on your page last week on Facebook
Gotta love those 80s movies! I saw this when it first came out, the theatre was packed and people were seeing this movie 2 & 3 times! Wish I had a time machine I'd go back to the 80s and stay there!
me to..i was break dancin back then.. love the movie
yes same here
clyde642006 ME THREE WOULD LOVE TO GO BACK TO THE 80's AND PACK MY KIDS WITH ME AWAY FROM TODAY CRAZY INFECTED LIVING MODE
Me too
Love tha 80's ill go with you
I love this scene! It shows that talent and perseverance pays off. I even love the emotional scene when they hug each other because they realize they have won over adversity.
Win against all odds
Yea only ozone amd turbo won, Kelly wasn't facing no adversity, she was just a rich girl trying to be street, but whites always gotta put that white savior role in urban stories and I get it, they never would've got that close without Kelly, so we take the good with the bad
love this movie. Made an impact on my life! Rest in peace Shabba Doo
I really miss the 80’s.
Me, too.
Aah me too
Me too.. Really miss the year.. When i was young age.. 18..
Great movie. In eighties we had everything. Even break-dancing.
Unlike the fakes, now.🤦♂️. We had everything. Everything was real.
@@akeemMali We still have everything (Older and Newer) for each generation. Breakdancing is better now.
A prime example on how the inner city youths have always been stigmatized by those in power, and what happens when the opportunity/chance is granted to look beyond the implicit biases. Black athletes are also a huge example of this phenomena. The Writers/Producers of this movie were way ahead of their time. I'm proud to be a contributor to this movie, and part of a movement.
Hands down one of my favorite movies. My sister and I used to watch the VHS tape of this until it broke
Rest in paradise Ozone!!!!! When i was a kid had the biggest crush on him. Loved Breaking and Electric Bugaloo!!!!
The group hug scene at the end was dope 0 togetherness now in 2020!
Rest In Heaven Shabba Doo aka Ozone!!

So many we lost so much talent God bless
Rest in Paradise Shabbadoo. He was a great dancer back then. 🎶
Rest in paradise O Zone.
The hug at the end ❤❤❤ Rest in Peace Ozone!
Rip legend street dance forever
Best part of the clip is when they share a hug at the end of the dance... there was true emotion between the three of them; that's a big part of why these cheesy, weak plot driven movies were successful. I watch them to this day because of the bond these three stars displayed. Great Job, people. RIP to Ozone... He was incredible; My Mother would watch the opening of Dance Fever because he danced every week... He will be missed. My Mother is also gone... life...
Love the ending, HE'S CRYING ❤
Damn RIP Ozone.
Holy shit, it's Shooter McGavin. SHOOTAH!
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
SHOOTA!! Just came to post same thing!!
Those were the days.Wish i could turn back the clock
Anyone that doesn't like this movie or part 2 is just too young to know better . Hell everyone in the 80's loved this stuff . Sure the movie is cheesy but it was fun . The music was great . A lot than most of the crap that comes out now
beat Street was loads better and better breakin
pcolabrian34 I still live this world all these years later movies are two violent and sexual! If you like this you will love Beat Street Breakdancing forever!
pcolabrian34 yes!I am from china,love it !great!

Breakdancers in the Malls... The future really sucks. lol
The young people today are so confused and so lost...
Worrying about Climate change to Shooting people down in public.
Where is the time machine already!
RIP Shabba-Doo! You were an inspiration for hip hop dance!
RIP Ozone. Loved the Breaking movies you guys did. You did it more than just for the dance but a movement towards something better
the 80's was the decade of the underdog. the movies were innocent, the music meant something, children played out doors... and nevermore
Also the 80s decade had crackheads, serial killers, and rapists.
RIP Ozone aka Shabba Doo Aka Adolfo Quinones you will be missed. Thank you for what you gave to the hip hop hop culture
This is why the 80's will never be duplicated or repeated .A lot of us came of age in the 80's .The music was off the charts !
RIP Aldolfo “Shabba Doo” Quinones
Let's not forget pop n taco as well. RIP.
What an incredible memories of that 1984. Music is forever......
Those Times were soooo precious. Thank you ozone (RIP), Turbo and Kelly...
Another classic movie from the 80's!!! Amazing!
Love this stuff, 80’s kid here, could watch for hours.
Still makes me cry till this day.
R.I.P. Shabba Doo (aka "Orlando OZONE") man he was a GREAT dancer, wish I could have studied with him for even a week!!!!!!
The movie breakin in 1984 was the bomb I was 13 back then when I watched that movie i was living in columbus georgia 34 years ago wow how time flies good old days miss the 80's
The most pivotal moment of the movie. I was too young when it came out but I still cry at this part.
RIP Ozone...gonna miss ya big brother😥
RIP Shabba Doo aka Ozone. He was a fantastic dancer and also a groundbreaker for break dancing. Many Prayers to the family & friends!! 🙏🏾
Wore out my VHS copy by watching this clip over and over and over and over and....well you get it😉🤷🏽♂️
Awsome song
Imagine accomplishing your lifetime goal as an underdog and getting to do it with your two best friends by your side. Then getting a group hug at the end. Priceless
We all need one moment like this in our lives...
The 80s what a time and made it all the way 20s that dont even sound right lol
absolutely right! I'm having the feeling as yours with tears!
Ozone Street Dancer!!!!!!!! Rest In Peace.😢🙏🏾
“Oh there’s more” 😅😅😅. Loved this movie so much 💜
man u was just listening to this last week. B boy forever. RIP cutie pie
Rip Ozone. You will be missed.
I got my headband and my samurai shirt as a child because of this movie. This movie is one of the reasons why there was a time in my life... I danced. R.I.P. Adolfo Quiones aka Shabba -doo aka OZONE!!! Everytime I lock, it's you who I think of. Thank you for your inspiration. Thank you for your light that shined all over the world 🌎 in the way you danced. Thank you Ozone!! Rest in peace!! Rest in Power king 🤴.
Love this movie, Thanking GOD I was a part of this era ! 🙏❤️
I heard this song on the Sirius eighties station a couple of weeks ago. I forgot how much I loved it as a kid.
you re kidd in, right!!!
RIP Shabadoo. We love you. We will miss you. :-)
I loved the costumes they had for this scene.. Something tells me that this was probably the last scene they filmed for this movie and those three hugging and crying.. Those are probably real tears of joy as three under rated new actors were given one of the biggest chances of their lives. They made a movie that would be seen by millions and millions of people for years to come and were helping introduce a more open mind for dancing.
OH.. Oh my. I didn't realize Ozone, Shabba Doo had passed. If you all want to see him in one of his earliest roles, you'll have to watch Xanadu and look for him in the final scene. I was like, "Wow! That's Ozone!"
Wow. I just read on IMDB that --
According to Lucinda Dickey, Adolfo Quinones would often try to show her up and make her feel intimidated because of her dancing ability and their clashes within the film rang true with his personal resentment for her which was also shared by their co-star Michael Chambers.
So the scene at the end where they're all hugging.. That was probably real. The moment when they finally accepted Lucinda as a dancer and colleague.. That's so touching.
Can never duplicate this era again I'm glad I was part of it
For some reason I always cheer with teary eyes at the end when they all embrace and camera pans around them. I think because I miss that era so much
This scene was so epic 👍
Rest in Peace Ozone🙏
O-Zone
Turbo
Special K🔥🔥💥💥
Brilliant would not accurately describe this brother. The mere fact that he is from Chicago just confirms why I fell in love with his style, charm, talent and skills. Something about Chitown folks we capture the souls with everything we do. Shabba Doo captivated us in the movie Breakin, he leaves a outstanding legacy. Bravo!! Rest well Beloved. ❤👑
Real talk, life was SO GOOD back then💗💗💗💗💗
Still is and properly will be for ever nrg
kid from the 80s.....miss those days so much! the best decade ever!
we thank you bro, you meant a lot to my generation, we cut class for weeks to see u, Breaking Rules always
RIP Adolfo Quinones, you were an inspiration.
Everytime I watch this, I cry with emotions of joy, relief and happiness and I don't even know why
Lucinda Dickey was awesome.
Too bad her movie career was so short.
She married the producer of the movie
She was so hot!
And a hottie too!
She was cute asf in this movie.
Great film, Brilliant soundtrack and dancing and wonderful memories, growing up in the 80s was a special time, never to be repeated 👍
Great stuff. Must have watched it a thousand times. R I P Ozone.

Breakdance 80’s
2020 has been brutal til the end. RIP Ozone (Shabba-Doo)😢🕊🕯
I was practically in love with Lucinda Dickey back in 84. Loved her in Ninja III The Domination also.
I Love ❤ That Movie Ninja 3.
RIP OZONE 😘❤️
THAT JUDGES SIDE BURNS THO GOTDAMN 😩🤣😂☠️
Hands down one of my favourite scenes in movies
I thank God, as a child I was exposed to this era. One of the best childhood moments of my life, God knows I needed these memories.😇🙏❤
Rest in peace Adolfo Quinones, the best and greatest break dance dancer. Now dance in heaven with the angels. 😭😭😭
Growing up in Brooklyn I remember my first time watching Breakin, & Breakin 2 Electric Boogaloo at the old Commodore movie theater in Williamsburg. As a kid break dancing was a moment, a true art form, from the graffiti on the trains, the entire true “B” boy movement..Shabba Doo accomplished so much it’s with sadness too know about his lost. Forever the “TKO Crew”
I loved this movie when it first came out and the sequel too ozone was in videos the sitcom what's happening and he was a part of the dance group the lockers . I hope he's dancing in heaven 😁
This is my favorite 80s Movie
