Sofirn Sp33 v2 review and comparison to the only version you review a year ago. Would be a nice video.
Did anyone ever open the TUP and find out what battery? Lipo, 18500, 18650 or 18350?
Just ordered the TUP from your link and code, thank you for a great channel Matt, really enjoyed your Home Depot shopping Trip!!! Very fun! Thanks!
I love my Nitecore P12. I’ve had it for year and it is still a great light. Thanks for the video
It is so crazy what they do with lights now glad you do.these reviews
I just watched your video on how to program a flashlight driver from a few years ago and came to this newer video, in hopes that you would see my comment, to let you know that you are my kind of flashlight nerd. Love your videos. Thank you! Subscribed!!
Thanks for the review Matt, knowledgeable and easy to anderstand as allways. I like the Nitcore Concept 2 verry much.
I kind of expect better fit and finish on the TUP. When you look at the emitter you can see the 2 shells halves don’t meet up very well.
I like it when you took the flashlight outside and let up The Shed from 470 feet out nice
Nice job man. Lots of beam shots is good! Subscribed!
Nice. I too have looked askance at the 10K for the same reasons. My trio of Olight M30 Triton lights are still my go-to because they're familiar and have a dedicated button for the strobe. I have other, newer and brighter lights, but the M30 is what lives in my bedside table.
Hi Matt.
So I had a TUP 1000 delivered today. Very shocked in how small it is. Plasticky, light... The display as you stated is very cool and inovative. Wish all my lights had it. I'll go for the 10000 lume. Box light you showed us. Little more beef. Regular batteries I can change out.
Thank you sir! Love how you talk !
P12GT is my EDC since it first came out. All beat up now but works GREAT!
Love the 2 little ones SWEET. AWESOME JOB BROTHER KEEP IT LITUP
I have a couple of other lights in the 1,000 Lumen + levels. NONE of them are anywhere near as bright as my Nitecore TUP! It is a truly impressive light, and I love it! And the battery seems to last FOREVER!
Matt I’d love to see you do some reviews on headlamps preferably one that’s dimmable instead of light modes
Matt, Thank you. I liked the Morse and the jokes. Good Lux.
Be curious to see the Nitecore TM28 vs a similarly spec’d Fenix and Olight. Thanks.
I love these flashlights, small and easy to use
My total Nitecore favorite is the MH 27 UV. No 1 when I am outdoors 💖
Interested in seeing the EC30, it looks to be the concept 1 improved version.
I am trying to figure out a way to have shoulder mounted lights that I can pack with me on an over night hike and need plenty of lighting that will last for hours. what would you recommend. ?
Looking at the price, i say the Tup is the one! Best value for money. And most practical
And looking at the price of the TM10k I say, nope! this is NOT the one!...$300 😮 Not a light for every one.
$300 and doesnt even come with 4000K LED's and sub 90CRI
Please besides that is a very old ligh, review the nitecore p36, with the mt-g2 led, and make a comparison with the ec4s
Love my TUP !
i just bought nitecore tup and tested the turbo mode but it only last for 0.5 second,i currently using daily mode and the battery is fully charged..what is the problem?
The TM10K seems to be a big step. As I use lights constantly on the job and have not found anything better yet than a mechanical tail switch I find myself open to this new design. It just might work well on duty.
i really like the TM10k, but the price tag is also.... high, even with coupon.
i still love the runtime of my cola can (Noctigon Meteor M43, 4x 18650), plus i feel more safe with parallel batteries, especially at flashlights with hi amp drain and unprotected cells.
Do you know of what manufacturer makes the more quality switches and electronics and all around durable flashlight? I was thinking olight and also would like to stick to a USA or cdn manufacturer for warranty related issues...or if you know of a good site for researching the manufacture reliabilty issues...love your vids!
Realy tup is amazing .. i love it ❤😍👍
That would make a great self defense dazzler light because it's so small. When the attacker is disoriented, it will give you time to beat them with a shovel or cinder block. it's the only way to be sure.
still love my SRT7, a switch, a Ring, best Interface ever and it's continuously adjustable, has RGB, nice Range and spill
yeah, had a SRT too, i think the SRT3, very nice EDC used it for over a year. But at all, i missed some power after a while, and got a modded Ledlenser F1 for rechargeble 16340 AW IMRs, 1000lm+ 10 minute dragster from a TLF member
The Ring control of the SRTs is so awesome, its really uncomparable to other switches. I got a Thrunite TN35 with ring control years ago. still the lamp to go when i need a "perfect" allrounder. nice flood, nice, "tight" throw for about 400-500m, 100% 2750 lumen (max) stable since the big surface/material, and a nice runtime with 3x 18650 3500mA. A little bigger than regular lights, but thats a proper flashlight.
If you like the small size and tons of lumens check out the Astrolux s42 and s43 2000 plus lumens claimed out of an 18350 sized light with extension tubes for an 18650.
TUP is amazing .. i love it 😍👌
I like the tup but have been thinking I will stay with manker I like the u21 I have with the updated Ui. It makes this light way better. So my next light will be a Keychain style like the manker lad
How about a review of the new Zebralight SC700D!
The throw on that C8+ is quite impressive.
The C8 platform is pretty sick. I have mine with me right now and love using it, even at close ranges (it has OP reflector and Biscotti, so very versatile).
The Nitecore TIP has been great for me. It's tiny, rechargeable, quite bright, and durable.
Can you please review the Nitecore HC65 headlamp? I would like to know if the output is really 1000 lumens. Great work btw, I really like your channel.
Hi, I love your reviews!
I just started my flashlight collection, I'm trying to cover large main, large backup, edc, and lastly, a keychain flashlight. As of now, I have the Imalent ms18/r90ts, Nitecore tm28, Nitecore tm10k, and lastly, the Nitecore tip 2. What else do you recommend? Maybe a super bright 18650 flashlight?
Thank you,
Victor
you could try FW3A
The mh20gt is my favorite for sure. I do MTB riding in the darkness and I it is on my handlebar position. Even with the mid power it is capable of to throw thru over my helmet light's massive "flood light" in front of me. I have about 2k lumens for 4 hours or even more up to 50 meters from my helmet light but I just can't see to distance corners. I mean my headlight it is also blocking my view because of massive light output! The mh20gt solves the problem and opens kind of "light pipe" thru all that flood light in front of me :-) Combination of two is amazing! Some dudes said to me that they were thinking about the train was coming thru them because they were riding the same route in next to the railway to my direction :-)
Hey Matt a bit off topic but could you please advise/warn people and show demonstrations of the variations in the nichia 219C; they run from 3,000 all the way up to what about 5,700? I made the mistake of buying an Nichia 219c thinking that it was going to be down in the living room light range (Like my Manker E02). Nope. Researched it all too late. Nothing worse than turning on a flashlight in your home and all of a sudden feeling like you're shopping inside of a Walmart.
Hi! I like so much your reviews. I want to know what you think about TRUSTFIRE brand? Could you make a review of the trustfire ak91? What do you think about this flashlight?
Budget EDC? Is the Lumintop Tool AA 2.0 counts as a budget light? I will receive a Convoy T2, hopefully in this month, same prices, but promises somewhat more light from an AA 1.5V cell.
Also, I am glad to see the 6 LED brick in action :) gives much spill, that in Turbo I can bet it blinds the user as well :D
New sub, thanks, I will be watching.
Did anyone ever open the TUP and find out what battery? Lipo, 18500, 18650 or 18350?
Concept2 is much more practical than the TM10k, and better built as well. Swap those XHP35HDs for HIs and you have a beat of a light.
I wish the gt mini had a turbo/high tail cap button
I didn't like that the button had to be continuously held down on the TUP turbo mode. I prefer much more the double press from any setting including off from the Olight S1R that also outputs 1k lumens and smaller then the TUP. I owned both
I think it would be cool to see the immalent MS03 vs the nitecore TM10K. They're supposed to both be hand sized and within 3,000 lumens of each other
Been using my first tm 26 to this day, i work security so it gets a lot of use works great.
I'd be interested to see a TUP in the 1x18650 format. The display is pretty rad.
Writing this here just coz its your last video. So, for someone in search & rescue who already has an Olight R50 Pro Seeker for closer search and is looking for a thrower now, what would you recommend? But I do have criteria, looking for best performance between 300-700 metres (2300 feet), im mindful not to have excessive focused hot spot, ie: shit loads of candela, id like a little spill. Lumens wise is pending a lot of other stuff but between 3000-10,000 seems about right (more doesnt hurt), preferably rechargeable via cord/magnetic but not a must, looking around $200-$300 AUS ($139-210 U.S). I am interested in your opinion as you would know, lumens, candela, distance is all waffle until you actually test and see for your self. I have a list of 5-10 but I keen for you to list a few options.
The tm10k is more expensive than the acebeam x80 but the x80 has a lot better specs, would you recommend the nitecore over the acebeam?
Good shit love nitecore, new subscriber here.
I love the ec4s, it's 2150 lumien
Tiny monster tm06s
Love you. Lightaholic
P12GT is my favorite, but the TM26GT is an absolute MONSTER. It has about the same throw of my Catapult V6, but with a massive spread. The TM26GT is chunkier, but not massive by any means, it fits in your pocket although it’s a bit heavy.
Andres Rivera great lights but not close to what acebeam and imalent are doing
asilaydying1984 Duuuuuude I haven’t listened to As I Lay Dying in a hot minute! Yeah they have pretty extreme lights. I was once looking to buy the Acebeam thrower or the Thrunute TN42, but then I figured I don’t live in the rural area. (Wish I did) Nitecore’s not just about sheer numbers though.
Andres Rivera yea man as I lay dying is still great hahah but where I live I am able to take full advantage of all my crazy lights lol . I have both of those you mentioned the acebeam k70 and the thrunite tn42 and many others . I love them all lol
asilaydying1984 One day bro.. I’ll move to a barn and take full advantage! Get that horse I’ve always wanted. I’ll have a massive collection of lights. My friends don’t judge me for the ones I already own, I swear.
Another great review! The TM10K is very interesting in a lot of ways, but not worth the money for 10 seconds of 10K.
It's main advantage is it's small size and light weight. If you don't mind a bigger, heavier light, then you can probably find something cheaper. It's all about tradeoffs.
NIce!!!! keychain light that puts out 1000 is truly unheard of lOL Can you do an review of Nitcore tip 2?
that is where i left my flashlights, i forgot them there. ill take them back now please :)
I’m very attempted to by the tm10k, 10000 Lumens in a such a compact flashlight is great but there are 2 major issues for me, the impossibility to change the battery and the heat dissipation, they could make the flashlight a few centimetres longer and the head a little bit bigger for some fins to manage the heat. for the moment i prefer acebeam l30 gen2 but probably I will by it gust for curiosity 🤣
How's the parasitic drain on those Nitecore flashlights? That brand tends to have problems with draining batteries when idle. I have an older EC4GT and it seems OK as long as I leverage lockout frequently. It's still losing some because it's an e-lockout. But otherwise, such a superb light. On sale it's $35, so at half the cost of a comparable EC4GTS, it's hard to beat.
I've not done testing for that, but I have this data. I charged up the tup and TM10 before making the video. Took the beam shots you saw in this video plus a little more than you see. Placed them on my shelf. Today is 7/26/19 The Tup is showing me 4.02 volts and the TM10K 3.75 volts. Hard to draw a conclusion from this since I did not record voltage at the time they were placed on the shelf, but for me both lights seem to be within acceptable tolerance.
Very good channel
I may have to but one of the tups
"That is Innovation"! LMAO .... That was funny.... love your videos man.
Acebeam uc15 1000 lumens also
Very nice review.
I had a nitecore Nitecore EC4GT, and it only worked for 7 months due to the design of the tail screw mechanism. The screw/thread on the body of the flashlight can get loose and prematurely wear, due to constantly changing the batteries, better lubricate that part once in a while. I now use the Convoy S11, Nitecore MH10, and Nicore EC 10, Nitecore TM 28(this flashlight is just for show, lol). Awesome flashlights. My daily carry is the MH10, as it is USB rechargeable and fits my pocket. I have other Convoy flashlights, LED variants of S2+'s. Thanks
LoL I just heard a repeater ID in the background.
Dah-di-dah
Flashlights and Ham Radio gotta love it
My favourite is hc65
Hmmm, @ 2:54 two batteries in series will not double the capacity. It will double the voltage. When in parallel, that's twice the current, thus twice the capacity.
You are correct. My point was 2 cells in the same short distance. Essentially it works out to be the same thing. Two cells in this case still gives you double the amount of available power vs using only one cell. :)
review nitecore hc33
That is neat..
tuyệt vời
That price though. I loose stuff i usually dont buy anything more than 30 dollars
Friend picks up a 10 million candle from the black decker and puts the xhp 70.2 led. We want to see the true power of lux

Nicolas Cage's techy brother. Yep :)
Nitecore ea11 powered by one 14500 outputs 900lm
Low audio but manageable
真的是隻好手電筒
👍👍👍👍👍
Not for normal people.
$300 for a flashlight!
Btw, what's the practical use of turbo or burst if it only lasts for less than 30 seconds?
Mostly just to show off to friends.
What Felix H said :) Or I suppose to blind an opponent maybe?
7 seconds? Why? I feel like I'm missing something, seems kind of gimmicky...
EA81 (8xAA)
If it would show time it would be perfect.
Merci
Try olight it’s way better
olight s1 r 2 has 1000 lumens
After seeing the disassembly of the tm10k with its isolated copper heatsink internally, it’s forever a garbage design. I’m sure I’m not alone.
Im dissapointed with tup. The spot is very small, barelly enough for one person to walk. Also the clip is a nightmare, very stiff. A much better keychain fl is Tip2. Ofc, i understand people have different needs.
Easy Money lol. Terminator 2
Please get a pop filter.
The runtime on the TM10k 👎🏻
It's a single 21700 battery light that is being pushed to its limit. So it has its limitations.
You look hella tired in this one mate 😂
I actually had a comment I recorded and then deleted because the vid was too long about that. Home late, dinner every night this week at like 9pm LOL... Dishes all over the counter, house a wreck, but the show must go on!!
@@Lumencraft- That sounds very similar to my house... All the time!
Yep, considering what many of these lights are going for("price point" HaHaHa) there probably should be simple efficient readout. Just hope they don't start to look like "smart" phones. I appreciate the advancements in click switches ya'll have made I really do, but I can't keep all the different sequences and timings in my head. Even a simple double click can be wonky to pull off sometimes. You will naturally double click as you do on your computer mouse every day (See Pavlov), but the mechanics are completely different between the two throwing the timing off. Easy to foul up such a seemingly simple action ... and that can be frustrating. With age we become even less coordinated as well. Your morse code example was right on the money. Click and turn or press and turn knobs would be popular I suspect. I'd enjoy hearing any problems with using them. These are very fine points and too fine for most but it is what developers do. I can tell you engineers naturally like to complicate everything. Designers, the few good ones anyway simplify. Really enjoying my new GT Mini and a GT is on the horizon.
Shucks
Why does the manufacturer use such contorted model names?
It's no different from many things I've seen, like firearms or computer parts. It helps tell the models apart with just a bit of information.
