some dont and let the hot water seal. personally if the hair is silky i use nail glue to seal.

i take a few strands from the bottom of the hair and loop it around into a knot at the end ! then dip them for extra security!!! glue is stinky

Dont mean to be that guy,,,,but its called culture appreciation. Not appropriation. As black people we pick and choose what we want to put in our hair...without thinking "hey ...isnt this a white girl hairstyle"... But we so quick to attack them for getting braids or putting on brown lipstick. Its ridiculous.
