Hello sister, your explanation and demo is good but how do you clean the pipe fixed on the lid. Can that be dismantled and cleaned like how you have cleaned the rod. Because even if you wash in running water kanji is sticky substance on the long run of usage it is not healthy if you just wash under running water. I feel that pipe also have to be cleaned thoughly. Please reply.

Super i think 2 months usage is a lie, still seems to b a honest review
I bought 5lr aluminium cooker, bottom is very light weight when compared to other 5lr cooker, what u said is 100% correct , the negative which u told , is faced by me also. When it whistle it water spreads in and around, and v have to keep correct ratio of water because there is some water left inside the cooker itself if it is more water,, I used to keep 1: 3 . Other wise the cooker is nice, and iam getting very little starch only, I will give 4 star.

Hai.. I don't used that.. But in cooker service shop, they says that ultra diet cooker is a failure model.. Rice will be sticky with kanji..
But I don't know, whether kanji come out while whistle.
Using bigger size in this Straino Cooker will be better choice

I recently got a straino rice cooker from India
I would feel highly obliged of you if you could clarify me the following points on the usage of this cooker
I use it on an induction hot plate and I use only raw rice ( basmati non boiled)
Should I use the same quantity of water ie one mesure of rice and four mesures of water?
How many whistles should I leave I order to get rice cooked for making lemon rice or fried rice etc and for normal use ie to eat with other types of curries like kurma, rasam, sambar etc?

Dear madam, this is good . But I feel the minus point in this is the cleaning of the tube portion through which you release the kanji that portion you cannot open and clean. So I doubt maybe after getting dried the kanji may get stuck inside the walls of the tube. It is after all liquid kanji which flows through that which is sticky. Don't you feel it has to be opened and cleaned. Any virus may develop which is hazardous to health. Do please reply.

What do you do with kanji
Hai.. I will use for cotton sarres, or for hair wash.. You can mix sivakai in this.. Or after shampoo wash, kanji can be applied on hair and hairtips.. And wash after few minutes.. It will work like a condisner to keep hair soft..

pressure releasing weight valve is not up to mark, it is leaky. Water should not leak till it reaches designed pressure cooking pressure

3 1/ 2 cups.. But kanji will be very less.. My rice is old, it normally take 3 cups for cooking..
