The parents in the first story acting in the appropriate manner. They believed their children when they told them something happened, they tried to investigate the incidents, and moved to keep their family safe. I wish all parents acted in this manner when their children come to them with serious issues.

For the 3rd story, I'm not sure why they didn't call the police. Their neighbor is obviously hiding something and the screaming further proves there's something weird going on in that house.
They should definitely ask police to do a wellness check. If nothing else, could be elder abuse going on.

Story 3 Theory: The two people looking out the window are corpses. The creepy 20-something-year old who awkwardly answered the door killed his parents 3 days prior and positioned them to endlessly glare out the window. I swear I thought the story was about to head that direction
I was thinking the same thing.
What about the screams that came a few days later and stopped abruptly? As if they were intentional and lasted long enough to be paid heed to.

Because they know the police would arrest them for false reporting, harassment, illegal use of an emergency system, ect.

The girl from the 2nd story frustrated me so much. Shed have called police the second she heard all those noises from the neighbor house in the middle of the night
she was fool for not calling cops on those scumbags
She literally had no care for what they were using that drill for or what they were even doing there in the first place they could’ve committed murder or hiding a body but she just felt too stressed to deal with it these people never learn until they find out that that person actually did commit a murder later and they could’ve done something if they called the cops I see it all the time in my true crime cases
If it’s true, they were the wrong actions to take. It’s true. She’s made herself and her roommate a target.
You guys have an active imagination lol. Nothing in that story seemed scary to me, in reality it was probably just some foreign workers who were hired to do a cheap renovation through the night
@@zXHawkxEyeXz my husbands a construction worker at least in the United States every state has a noise ordinance and In PA the time is 11pm -7 am so you can’t work during those hours legally and each state has a similar law with the time varying from 9-11pm depending on the state so no that would’nt have made sense lol
We definitely need an update in the future on story 3. My mind was thinking mummified bodies at the window. That dude just gives off serial killer vibes. And the screaming in the middle of the night with an abrupt stop!? Crazy! Could be added in a possible compilation video in the future with some older stories with updates as well. First story..I'll never understand why parents have upstairs bedrooms while letting their young kids sleep alone downstairs. Especially when they thought the neighbor was watching them.

This neighbor moved into the neighborhood after them, so presumably the kids already had the downstairs bedroom and hadn't had a problem before some dude decided to be a freak. Can't really fault the parents.
If you suspect someone is spying on your kids, why not buy this really magical device called a curtain or blinds smh.

Putting kids alone on a lower floor is not a good choice for safety.

Out of those three stories, it really bugs me that none of them thought to call the cops. All of those moments were screaming for a 911 call. Those weird neighbors could have been behind bars by now. Instead, they're still out there, lurking in the dark, doing God knows what.

The final story in this video is exactly why all my windows are always covered, I have paranoia that someone will watch me through my windows or that I'll wake up and see someone looking at me through my bedroom window

Where I live, police wouldn't respond to any of these. Maybe they'd give a call back three days later to ask if everything was okay. I just don't understand people who say, "call the police!" They're not genies who just conjure themselves out of thin air before you. Unless it's a life-or-death situation, the cops are not coming. At least that's how it is where I live in Canada.

In the first story, the parents should have reported CP. If he told the cops that he suspects that the neighbor is taking pictures of his kids in the pool and sleeping, the cops should have checked the creepy neighbor's camera roll. CP is a serious offense that the cops should've suspected. If needed, they probably could've easily gotten a warrant to search his property. That old guy needs to be behind bars.

There probably weren't other bedrooms upstairs and also the neighbour moved in after them iirc or at least wasn't acting weird until definently after the family was moved in with their stuff situated

Story #2 I’m 99% certain they were setting up hidden cameras so they could watch and probably sell footage of unknowing girls changing, showering, etc.

It was just some scared kid who didn't have a good night's sleep due to loud noises. Granted, those 4 men shouldn't have been working at that time of night, but still, it was way too long for it to be nothing in the end.

The last month of the year just feels like Mr. Nightmare's best time for scary stories.
The second story isn't a scary story, it's a social interaction. You heard noise, ask people to stop, they stopped.
Story 3… call the police. My first thought was the elderly couple in the window were dead corpses. Especially with how weird the guy was when he answered the door. Then with the screaming, either it’s a guy with some serious mental health problems and he’s yelling erratically for no reason or it’s possibly elder abuse. Either way, these people should have called the police. Something is definitely wrong with that situation.
Elderly people can have dementia which causes them to act erratically and even yell and scream. Most of the time, people let their imagination run away with wild thoughts and think that the neighbors are doing something wrong. In fact, there is a movie about it.

My mom and I are sick right now and have been for a while. Our Christmas probably won’t be as nice as usual because of this. And when you’re sick you don’t feel like doing much obviously so having Mr. Nightmare post is very nice because I can lay in bed while also listening to his stories. In the first story I couldn't help but notice that a camera flash through a window would basically result in having overexposed pictures. Still creepy.
This makes me so thankful we've never had any neighbor problems like this in the 35 or so years we've been in our house.
Here's a short horror story- as I sat in my room in complete silence.. the only noise were the restless thoughts running thru my head. I accepted my fate knowing I was powerless to the pending outcome.. I grabbed my last blunt, sparked up, inhaled deep and whispered in a low chuckle...
"I'm really gonna die a virgin..."
Mr nightmare being consistent this is a great way to end the year and next years should be even better!
Story #3: The people at the window were cardboard cut outs or mannequins. Everything else that happened was unrelated.
Now that might be a good idea for a video. 3 scary stories that turned out to be nothing.

One of the greatest things about this channel is that after a while you can go back to old videos youve watched but dont fully remember the stories, and watch it all over again like its the first time

Story 2 - she said it was weird that middle aged men were listening to early 2000s pop songs bc that's what teenagers would listen to...does she know when people who are now middle aged were teenagers? Oh sweet summer child, sometimes us olds like to listen to the music of our youth, also. It seems like she probably caught them stripping things from the apt., they bounced, and the rest is just her scaring herself. 🤦♀️
Something is off about them doing that in the middle of the night though, you can't do stuff like that at midnight in an apartment.
@@Juzokinnie oh yeah, they were definitely stealing. But the music thing was not that weird, and everything she described after the interaction just sounds like she was working herself up over nothing. But she definitely should have just called the cops and called it a night.
