"Sofia...we can't. Theo didn't make it across."
**Sofia's excitement and hope fades quickly**
"My guess is Belle got caught out once Lucks went on high alert, so Theo's still trapped at TASCorp. Not only that, we lost Masa...again. Fortunately, that cartridge staying private is the only thing keeping our friends alive right now."
"No! We were _so close!"_
**Sofia walks over to the end of the bridge and looks towards Silica City in dismay**
"So...what now? We cut our losses? Trade the cartridge back to Lucks for our friends?"
**Lamar approaches Sofia**
"That ain't gonna work, either. Remember last time we made a deal with him? He shot Masa's arm off, crushed Theo's cartridge, and kidnapped Tari! I don't think Lucks has gotten _any_ more chill since then."
"So what? There's nothing we can do? We're just stuck in this...limbo?!"
"I..."
**Lamar sighs and doesn't respond. Tari looks at her cybernetic arm and the cartridge. She curls her fingers a little, then looks up at Lamar and Sofia**
"No! This ends tonight! I'm not Masa, but I do have a plan! It's dangerous, though. It's an all-or-nothing play; we either win big, or we lose...everything. There's _no_ in-between."
**Lamar and Sofia both turn to face Tari**
"Will it get our friends back?"
**Sofia steps forward**
"And take down Lucks?"
"I think so. Yeah."
**Sofia and Lamar look at each other before looking back at Tari and telling her in unison**
"...We're in."
"Thanks, guys. I won't let you down! Okay!-"
**Sofia interrupts Tari**
"Oh, wait wait wait wait! Sorry, Tari! I completely forgot to give you something!"
**Sofia walks over to a package and searches it a bit**
"Ha-ha!"
**Tari gasps as Sofia takes out a new jacket for Tari, which looks identical to the one she wore in **_Meta Runner Season 1._**
"I made a new one of these. You know, for the tracker in your arm."
**Tari puts on her iconic jacket**
"Haha. That's a good look for you."
**Tari, Lamar and Sofia turn to face Silica City. Tari exclaims in a heroic tone as she clenches her fists**
"MD-5, let's finish this!"
I love that he always gives an always running touch to some songs, that melody is so iconic.
