    A little about me:
Sean Daniel is a man. A man of simple needs and desires. And the one desire, no, the one NEED, that stands above all is to spread the challenges, joy and intellectual stimulus of music to people of Earth and beyond.
Born on the mean streets of upper middle class suburban Chicago, Sean learned the ways of the world through the dizzying heights of success to the lonesome depths of failure and emerged with the promise of a better tomorrow reflecting in his eyes and fiery passion in his belly.
He plays and teaches guitar on his CZcams channel where he regularly releases original music and projects to the adulation of legions of fans, who often compare him to Chris Pratt and one time Ryan Reynolds. He’s currently in the market for a nice leather jacket.

That was a good quick lesson on bass basics. I switch back and forth between my guitar and bass, master of neither, but enjoy both. Keep the bass lessons coming 🎼🎶😎

That was a really good lesson for someone like me who really plays guitar, but wants to play bass and doesn't know where to begin. Thanks!

This video was awesome. Clear, straight forward, right to the point, with only the necessary information presented. So many instructors on CZcams have their heads so far up their a$$es in music theory you need to be a music major to understand them. It's almost as if they make instructional videos just to impress their professional musician friends. I'm glad I found this video. I'll definitely check out the others.

Very easy to follow and well articulated. Subbed. Walking jazz bass is my favorite and my goal is to become proficient enough to improv with a band.

Excellent lesson Sean! It's a great lesson for guitarists too. I've often had students do this (I do it myself!) to get a feel for how to get from A to B. It forces you to think of where you're going to end up and the time it takes to get there.
Van Halen said playing a guitar solo was like falling down stairs and somehow landing on your feet. This is like "Falling Down Stars and Landing on Your Feet 101" ... or maybe 201. Very nice!

Yeah, we bass players are having a lot things to think about while we playing that cool and sexy what makes the crowd dance ;-)
What is a chord tone, what is a passing tone and where to place it. It's more than shifting shapes. It's a Kind of magic ;-) Good tutorial!

Hey dude good lesson for me, I have been trying to figure out how to play walking bass lien's on my bass guitar, but haven't seen anyone who gives a good lesson on yet, can you do a few more lessons on the walking Bass lines, and also can you please do a video on how to play the 9/10/11/12/13 note on the Bass, or how ever that goes? And explain how to play them and we're they come from, thank you so much for your help

@@seandaniel23 thank you so much for that, and I love how you keep it very simple and easy to get and understand even for very beginning people. That means a lot to people! If they can't understand it it is very easy to quit and give up. Thank you so much
