Honestly, my favorite thing about this floor is just how many enemies work best when there are other enemies in the room. And of course the Edith reference with Shakers.
A lot of cool mechanics here and possibly my favorite enemy lineup, especially with the voodoo bullets from lunksack and the looping projectiles from nihilist. A lot of the enemies here also amp up the magic/occult/arcane and psychic theme, giving the idea that the Masouleum is a separate part of the Depths that were taken over by worshippers of the psions in Sheol
The idea behind Mausoleumâs theming, especially with its enemy line up and grid visuals, is that of a corrupted, ruined cathedral. This is why enemies like Zealot, Alfil, and Clergys can be found there, along side more enemies that can be found in Cathedral. (Like Congressions and Primeminds)
i dunno why, but i just get super hyped over these enemy showcases. ever since i saw one basement showcase looong long ago, i was always curious on the others. thanks, slayxc. thanks for no reason.
The enemies in this mod are so well-designed from a game design perspective, like in terms of mechanics and bullet hell patterns. They feel right at home with Isaac's combat and gameplay.
One thing I really dislike about this mod is that it adds many enemies with invincibility phases. I hate those. I've had more than enough with hosts in the main game. Other than that, pretty cool.
Probably my favourite floor so far, just insane. The Enemies, the room design, the music, everything just clicks together here. My only complaint is that some of the enemies suffer from readability, especially Zissuru. Good luck not getting here when meeting that guy for the first time. Also I sure hope you got some damage ups by now or Nihilist will make the complete room very confusing. Mausoleum Ranking: 9/10 Personal favourite enemy: Lunksack, he's so happy :D
8:25 chain reactions with these things are like one of the most satisfying things in isaac, especially if it clears the whole room for you but seeing a soul sucker kill itself like that is pretty entertaining too ngl a lot of very interesting support enemies in this one

Dude just for my boy Stolas of the ars goetia enemy (fav demon), this is the best chapter ^v^ I love how the electric things kinda make constellations. But man this floor is awesome, voodo, Salt circles and sectarians!!?!?
I love purple (my favorite color), and I love mausoleum. Mausoleum with more enemies such as good as those makes this my favorite floor BY FAR! Great work slay! đ
Tip for the friendly ball: Don't capture Grimoire, because even when he's friendly his purple fire ball will still hurt you. So you're better off saving that friendly ball for a cultist or a bishop
Probably go for Zissuru. I firmly believe that with that attack he has, heâll be overpowered when heâs on your side. Or you can just try and catch Shi if you like monstergirls

Can't wait for cathedral showcase. It's my fav floor. De quod reliquum est... I think it has one of the best enemy in flenolio. That one wacky, that fails your stats up to - 100 luck
Enemy idea: eyedea It looks like a purple eye It follows you around but it sometimes shoots a homing tear at you, randomly throws enemies (this does not kill that enemy) at you and rocks at you And it also can teleport
psychoknights are like those teleporting eyeball leeches in sheol if they didn't SUCK seriously why can't they just have a telegraph like psychoknights do it's not like the eyeball leeches are FASTER or blow up when you kill them or anything, totally not the case at all
i think an little easter egg wouldn't hurt! when you (the player) has the missing page the grimoire will consume it and will be friendly give you buffs and most importantly! an tiny little item: the book of curses with this book everything will take 25% of it's health taken away (yes even bosses but for them it's reduced to 8%) and it spawns a grimoire (friendly) this item is Q2 (maybe Q3) and has the bookworm transformation this can spawn in a library too but only after you atleast did that easter egg once (it has a 0.1 weight in the library since you should get it via the easter egg) the text of the book is (when you grab it): either stay as a curse or become one BUT this item has a drawback! while held you instantly gain a curse (this can be nullified via black candle) it needs 6 charges but has a chance to be filled to full when killing an enemy (0.5%) REMEMBER! i am only human

Probably even more at home than the base game's enemies. Most vanilla floors are comprised of dull and basic enemies.

Some of the bigger enemies past Chapter 3 have a bit of armor added to them. Womb has a couple.
Heâs got armor since heâs slow to do his attack and is easy to hit!

Mausoleum is my favorite floor for its colors, its theming, and its music.
The fact some of themuse salt circles as attacks is a cool concept like the fact they are supposed to keep demons away
