11 puzzles and 13 books! So good 💜I’m loving this series
It feels so good to clear the clutter.
Looks great! I don't know what is so satisfying about watching someone prettying up their shelves, but it is.
I'm so glad! It's coming along better than I expected so that's good.
You are breaking my heart ❤️ with your classic books 📚 give away prayers and blessings for you and your family love your Aussie family friend John ❤❤❤
I didn't give away too many of them. And two of there were because I had duplicates. haha. It will be ok! Thanks for watching, as always.
@@BooksAndJams no worries I love your channel
why is it so satisfying watching people do unhauls lol this was great!
Thanks! It feels good to have another section of my shelves cleaned off.
So therapeutic, I am loving this series, hearing your thoughts and rational on what keeps and what goes.
I'm so glad you're enjoying it.
These videos are keeping me moving along with my own unhauls. Yay!
Sweet! Glad to be an inspiration.
You did a good job especially with the puzzles. It seems like puzzle boxes can be awkward to move around at times because they are so much bigger than books. Some lucky people will be getting great books and puzzles thanks to you.
I love how the puzzle shelf looks now!
Everything looks so good. It’s giving me inspiration to do mine. I just love Chris Caine. When I lived in London, she would come speak at my church several times a year. As well as all our conferences.
I heard her speak once and it was powerful. I need to read more of her books. there are quite a few now.
I agreed with just about all of your choices. The only one I feel sad about is Tale of Two Cities, which is one of my favorite books and I think you would love it.
I am just not a fan of Dickens. I have a really hard time understanding his writing. If I do ever pick up Two Cities I will probably listen to it and I don't need the physical copy for that. Glad to hear you loved it though.
Yup, Tale of Two Cities was my sad moment too. But I understand, we don’t all love Dickens…
Yes, same. Tale of two cities is so good!
Wow!! What a great job. I am so glad you have more shelves to organize. It is entertaining and inspiring to watch you organize. 👍
I have quite a few left, but it does feel good to be making so much progress.
I love springbok puzzles🔥But it’s an unhaul so it’s gotta go 👏🏾👏🏾🤣🤣
I have liked some and not others by Springbok. I just don't think I need to do that one again.
Wow, the puzzle shelves look awesome. What a transformation!
A complete transformation! I'm so glad.
The Pomegranate Gate is the beginning of a series.
I am still interested in trying at least the first one.
Krista, I'm loving this series, keep up the good work! 📚
Thanks so much. I'm loving it too!
Hi Krista. You're doing such a good job with your shelves. Thanks to you I got rid of 11 books. I'm still working on getting rid of more.
Thanks! I love how it's coming along. Yay for getting rid of 11. That's amazing.
My rule for classics is keep them unless it is a duplicate or I hate it.😂 I really liked some of those puzzles. I wish I lived closer and I could go shopping at where ever you dump them.
I just don't read classics all that often. Clearly. haha. I don't have too many. I need to stop buying so many puzzles until I do quite a few more of these.
@@BooksAndJams I work puzzles only in winter. Summers I am too busy with my veg. garden. I do love them and I have quite a few also. You had some really nice one's
You made me sad with Brave New World, it’s such a good one! So thought provoking
Bummer. I know I could get it on audio if I ever change my mind.
Yes, this is a great series. I know how satisfying it is to re-organize the book shelves. I recently did my shelf of cookbooks and did a big unhaul. I don't know how I fit them on the shelf in the first place. 🤷♀️ Thought it was perfect timing with the holidays fast approaching.
Oh yeah, I should do that at some point too. I have a shelf of them in the kitchen! Books everywhere! haha.
Congratulations on your puzzle shelves! I didn't think you'd get everything in them.
I didn't think so either! It looks so good. Now I just need to not buy more until I do a few more of these and pass them along.
Whoa on The Tale of Two Cities! Loved it
Many did. I just don't love Dickens at all.
Your shelves ended up looking great especially how well your puzzles fit. I have a lot of puzzles to do, but with two very curious rescue cats, I hesitate to start one. I can use a roll-up thing for putting away, but I'm afraid they won't leave me alone while I'm working on them. But I just need to give it a try. You're doing great at unhauling!
I couldn't believe how nice the puzzles looked. I just kept throwing them back there. Yeah, cats aren't that conducive to puzzling.
Always fun to see one of these videos come up! I ordered the hymns book as a Christmas gift for my son’s girlfriend. She loves hymns! I think she will be very pleased. ❤
I love hearing the stories behind some of the hymns. I had an extra copy of this one that I gave my mom. I still haven't read it, but am very interested.
Fervent is excellent!
You inspired me to undertake my own bookshelf and I have 3 bags to sell back to used book store in town and the shelves look SO GOOD! Thanks for the push I needed.
I love that so much! Feels good, right?
I enjoy your shelf videos. So much fun.
Thanks so much.
It has been do long since I've done a puzzle, u have made me want to pick one up!. Thanks again for a wonderful video❤
I go in spurts. Puzzles are fun to do while listening to audiobooks, which I do a lot!
I enjoy these videos so much!!!! Looks great and you have some beautiful puzzles😊
Thanks, Monica. I need to limit puzzle purchasing until I can get a few more of these done! haha. I don't think I realized how many I had.
Good job! Back when I had physical books, and many bookcases, I only dusted the shelves and never considered sending any of them to a new home. Who knows, I might still have physical books if I occasionally decluttered my stash. Oh well…my digital library only needs to be recharged. 😂
I haven't dusted these shelves in ages. Ha. That should be part of this process too. I think book collecting is totally a different hobby from being a reader. I have both. :)
I love purging! Feels great!
Yes! It always feels so good.
I’m so jealous of your puzzle stack! We have cats and they are not puzzle friendly always knock my pieces all over.
Yeah, Cats and puzzles don't really go together well.
Brave new world was one I really enjoyed. (But you can always get it from the library if you change your mind) lol.
Very true. It's not one I've ever felt the urge to pick up. Not sure where I even got it! haha.
I need to get my but in gear and organize! Keep it going! It motivates me. Looks so good!
Do it. Do it. Do it! haha. Feels so good after.
When I love a puzzle I mod podge it and hang it up, but I haven’t done one in a long time.
That's a great idea. I have one puzzle I've done that with, but most of these I will do once and pass along.
Great job! I have an entire bookshelf that needs some serious cleaning out.
Do it! Break it up into smaller sections so it feels more manageable. It just feels so good to have them organized and cleaned out.
@@BooksAndJams I have it planned for next weekend! The task isn’t my favorite but it’s worth the results 😀
I love this series, I think it is motivating, I just did my shelves a couple of weeks ago, I need to get back into puzzles but working on some Christmas Daily Journals! Have a great weekend!
What's a Christmas Daily Journal? I'm intrigued.
@@BooksAndJams Its a junk journal with a day dedicated to each day of the month of December for memory keeping/journaling, pictures etc. I am currently making 1 for each of my Sons and their family so they can journal about putting up the tree, making cookies, etc.
I have so enjoyed this bookshelf series! Looking forward to the next one. They've inspired me to do the same. 😊
I'm so glad you've started to tackle your shelves too. It feels so good!
Ooo this was a good one!! So satisfying, love the organization 😍
Glad you enjoyed it! It does feel good to see the after look.
I’ve been unhauling lately, too! Your shelves look great!
It feels so good to clean things up a bit, right?
Just started this video and all i can think is you need to get rhe Mistborn series in order! Lol. This was such a good video series idea!
Haha. I know. I will fix it when I do my series shelves next.
I love your puzzle collection!
Thanks! I realized after fillming this that I just brought more puzzles home from my moms that she no longer wanted and I have another stack in a different room. haha. Too many puzzles!
Great job, Krista, it looks great! I bought a bookcase a couple of months ago, and have yet to put it together (it's still in the box!), so you are motivating me to assemble it and organize my books and the few puzzles I have. Have a great weekend! I always look forward to your vlogs.
Yes do it!! haha. You won't regret it.
I really need to go through my reference books. But I doubt that would be any fun to watch. Love your shirt!
Thanks! It's amazing what people find interesting though. You might be surprised! haha
When you get done with your book shelves you can come organize mine😊.
I would love to! haha. It's so fun.
So satisfying!
I'm so glad. It's satisfying for me too.
It was a great haul, at first I thought you were going to keep all your non-fiction Christian books, then you started to unhaul, more than I thought you would.
Love your collection of puzzles, when I finish a puzzle I put on the side to fill a box
then send them to my sister who lives in Syracuse. She does the same for me. Then when we both complete the puzzle, its up to us to donate it.
I love that. I was bringing puzzles to my moms for a long time, but then she has started downsizing too and doesn't want them any more.
Love your unhaul. As you went through the puzzles I recognized several that I have. The only Christian book I have that is in your collection is The Case for Christ by Lee Strobel. I read part of it so far.
I think I will try to read Case for Christ next year. I have heard such good things about it.
You’re doing so well!
Thanks, Sue. It feels good.
I always enjoyed Beth Guckenbuger. Start with Amen was such a good read for me. She does a great job explaining cultural references that typically I might overlook.
I loved hearing her speak at CPC a few times. I can't believe I haven't read that one yet. Need to get to it.
Great job unhauling yet again! This video reminds me that my Kindle library is full of Christian Non-Fiction that I haven't read yet. I think that will be a bookish goal for 2024. I love Priscilla Shirer too! I saw her in person once at her Fervent event and would love to see her again if she came back to my area.
I would love to see Priscilla Shirer in person too. I have seen some of her video series, but not live. I need to make a goal about nonfiction next year. I have SO many I'd like to read.
You are doing amazing!!
Thanks! Feels so good to have more done.
I love your unhaul project series! Uninvited by Lysa TerKeurst is a special book for me because it brought me out of a low point in my life. 💛
Thanks. I hope I love Uninvited too. I know I have been there many times in my life.
Looking good love these videos
Thanks, Darlene. I love it!
Nice job keeping up with this!!!
Thanks. It feels good!
Nice unhaul! Was glad to see you count a "missing" book from your first shelf and ide and additional one from your next one. With the goal being 10 books, you did great! Awesome puzzle collection!
Yep. My "game", my "rules". It all worked out in the end. Thanks!
You did great.
Thanks! Feels so good to have more done.
Looking good! I’ve been slowly working in my library to organize a large amount of my picture books. I have shelves in other rooms of my house but this summer, my husband built a library for me in a bedroom. It’s been a lot of work moving and arranging my collection but so much fun!
I saw the shelves your husband made. They're gorgeous. How fun to get to organize and fill them up! I love that.
Great job. The puzzle shelves turned out great. I'm loving watching this series.
I can't believe how all the puzzles fit and look so good! That was very satisfying! haha.
Hi Krista!! I went to the local independent bookstore on Wednesday and got my order. I got The Tea Dragon Society books, The Pomegranate Gate and The Wrinkle in Time quintet PLUS 3others and ordered The Wishing Game. HELP!!
Oh man! What a haul! Just keep reading from your shelves and you'll be fine. haha.
Woven as an audio book is humorous but still impactful. I have read so many of your Christian nonfiction. We did Defiant Joy in my Bible Study. It was solid but not as good as Priscilla Shirer’s studies. The puzzles look great!! And congrats on the book shelf organization. I love these videos!
Good to know about Woven. I don't usually listen to nonfiction unless it's a memoir. I don't retain as much through audio and these ones I'll probably underline and mark up as I go. Glad you're enjoying these. I like them too!
I haven't read any Elizabeth Gaskell yet, but her name keeps coming up. Looks like I should try something of hers soon!
Oh definitely! I loved North and South so much. And I really like Wives and Daughters too. Cranford isn't my fave, and there are others I haven't read yet, but read North and South and then watch the adaptation. It's so good! It has some similarities to Pride and Prejudice, if that's any incentive.
@@BooksAndJams Pride and Prejudice is a huge incentive! It's top of the list now! 😃
Loving this series! Your shelves are looking great! 💕 I don’t do puzzles, but gosh, I loved looking through all yours. I love the Wysocki prints too. Have a great weekend❤️
Thanks, Sandy. I didn't realize how many puzzles I actually have. And I forgot I have a box in my trunk of ones my mom was getting rid of. And I have another stack in another room! haha. I need to get puzzling and pass more of these along!
Looks great
Thank you!
I am struggling to get through the audiobook of Tale of two cities 😫....just have not made the connection. Love Fervent...great book, My Uptmost for His Highest and Watchmen Nee. Never finished Foxes Book of Martyers....to heavy. Love seeing your book collections ❤😊
Sorry to hear that Kami. I'd say DNF it! haha. I am eager to read more Watchman Nee. I've read Sit, Walk, Stand multiple times, but nothing else by him yet.
Well done and you’ve inspired me to do a puzzle! Woot woot
Yay for puzzles! It's one of my favorite things to do while listening to audiobooks.
I have foxe's book ofmartyrs. I'm not going to finish it. I truly appreciate the sacrifice for their stand for christ, but just can't seem to finish it. Defiant joy is a great book.
I don't know if I'll ever read Foxe's from cover to cover. But I am not ready to unhaul it. Glad to hear you enjoyed Defiant Joy.
Great job! I really did enjoy watching this, although I don't know why. Maybe it's giving me the incentive to go through my own shelves. I organize my book shelves by size (tallest to shortest). It's fast and easy to see where to put the book back after reading. On one shelf I have some books (tall to short) then a pretty box of bookmarks then the books on that side of the bookmark box are short to tallest. This bookshelf is in the living room and I get complements on the way it looks a lot.
It sounds like a beautiful bookshelf. Easy to find where to put books away, but is it easy to find books that you're looking for? I love hearing how people organize their books.
Looks great!! Seeing all of your puzzles reminded me I have a couple I want to work on! Also I saw a super fun advent "calendar" that was a big puzzle. So each day you get a big handful of pieces that go together and then each day adds on to it. There are a bunch on amazon. I totally plan on doing one this year.. I know you love a fun advent calendar 🙂
I love that idea! I have treated myself to two advent things already so I'll pass this year. Let me know how it goes if you do it. I may do it next year.
Wow, you did great and it looks so nice now. I have such a huge stack of unread non-fiction both Christian and non-Christian. I don't know when I'll ever get to them all as non-fiction, unless a biography or auto biography, always takes me soooo much longer. Some I can listen to on audio but with the Christian ones, I take notes and underline. So hard to make choices.
I have WAY too many nonfiction that I'll probably never get to since I so rarely reach for it. Oh well. Thanks.
Great job! Glad you won’t be done any time soon 🤗
It will feel so so good when I am done! Hoping to finish before the end of the year, but that might be too much. We'll see.
@@BooksAndJams Well, however long it takes, I’m enjoying every minute of it 👏👏👏
I enjoyed Tale of two Cities.
Many did. Not sure I would. I don't even really like A Christmas Carol by him.
@BooksAndJams what?! I think Tale of Two Cities and Christmas are the most accessible Dickens
I love the shelf organization and unhauls. They always give me a little inspiration to go to my own shelves and see if there is anything I need to send on its way!
Sweet! Do it. It feels so good to clear a bit of the clutter away!
Brave New World is a pretty good book in my opinion I would’ve kept that one🤷🏻♀️ here I’m waiting for Krista to posted them on Pango 😉🤭
I am pretty sure I could get it on audio if I have the urge to read it someday. I'm hoping to work on Pango today or tomorrow. :)
Inspiring me to let go of books I no longer need. 🩵
Woohoo! Do it! Feels so good to clear the clutter a bit.
