Community Store opens on Tuebrook

Mayor Joanne Anderson cut her first ribbon at the opening of the New Beginnings, Improving Lives (NBIL) Community Store in Tuebrook.
NBIL was started by Michelle Roach in 2019 to help people who are struggling financially.
Michelle wanted to help others after hitting hard times herself when she lost everything in 2014 after being diagnosed with cancer.
Profits from the community shop will be used to find support groups to help people struggling with mental health issues.
