I heard the myth many times as Poseidon raped Medusa in the temple of Athena and it anger the goddess so much she took it out on Medusa and punishment her and her sisters being virginal priestess to the goddess herself. Athena cursed Medusa and her sisters to Gorgons. That's why it's a myth. One thing I never heard any stories about her other sisters as Gorgons. Is there any stories relating to her sisters?🤔
They have also their story, but not as famous and deep as medusas. As I know they are compared to medusa immortal and way more cruel to people as their one sister killed more then other both combined. But medusa is still the Main Charakter of them because of her big role in the history of the Gorgons. Do you have an idea maybe what would be interesting for future Videos?
Oh I loved Natalia Vodianova as Medusa in redux of Clash of the Titans, she was fabulous but I didn't like the actor who played Perseus in both films. I loved the update and other gods Liam & Company. They made Perseus more rugged then handsome I wanted both. I always said if Heath Ledger was still with us we would had made a awesome Perseus.
I also really like the Actor of medusa there. Was a great Film and they should have choosen a diffrent Perseus you are right. I think Heath would fit in so many roles today sad that such a Charakter died so early
