it's my gpu and i don't know what type of newer games you are talking about but it's still a pretty stable gpu for being so old i used to use intel and i could not even play fortnite without crashing

The 10 series is like that one fly that you somehow hit with the force of a truck yet acts like everything is fine. Even the lowest end from that series (except for the 1030) can still play quite a few games.
even the 1030 i bet u could get away with on 720p

fsr helped the 1000 series a lot but still they were better gpu for the time than the 4000 series @@cheetos3269
i still use a GTX 1080 Ti to this day, paired with me Ryzen 5 7600x its still a gaming beast even at 1440p.
I still use the 1050ti and it rocks 🤧❤️

There is a easier and faster way to restart the game and it may save you time when recording your Fortnite videos. You can simply change the rendering mode to another and switch back to what it was before and apply. It will say that you have to restart the game, click on it and that's it. Very nice video btw. 😊
Btw u can push memory oc slider to the max and it works with almost every 1050ti , its clocks way too downgraded to 7 ghz but it can work very fine at 9ghz like memory in 1060

hey Kryzzp, do you have hardware accelerated GPU scheduling on in your pc benchmarks? just wondering.
Does that even matter at all?
I remember the 2017 days where this card was one of the most popular cards alongside the 960, 970 and 1060. Back when games would run really well even on budget hardware. Now even a $600 GPU runs like cr4p and relies on DLSS and FG to perform good, this is due to bad optimization of games that has become insane. Alan wake, max settings, RT, on a 4080 you get 30fps. Yeah a $1000 GPU gets 30fps. With DLSS Q and FG you get 80+ but really we shouldn't be needing to use these upscaling and FG. Especially since FG is still newer technology and the input lag is still kinda bad.
I think DLSS is good, but developers should not be relying on it to reach stable FPS goals.
There is new amd FG mod dropped for cyberpunk which can be utilized with dlss upscaling. Will you test it on rtx 30 and 20 series cards?
Imagine getting a 1050ti on release for msrp and still playing it
If you want to save space, then without pre-download streaming assets weigh ~6 GB, if you don’t download high-resolution textures
I have the Asus Phoenix model, its really low profile and it doesn't require any power connectors so it fits into almost any pc
That's a big selling point of these when buying used, no power connectors means you can indeed slap it anywhere and make it a gaming PC :)
will i get similar performance with r5 2600 cpu and gtx 1050ti, and will an r5 3600x cpu be much different than 2600?
Trying to understand the part about bottlenecking in performance mode, I have R5 5600x with 1050ti, I get around 80% gpu utilization and 30% cpu, so my 1050ti is bottlenecking my cpu and I need to get a better GPU right ? Or it is the inverse and I need to upgrade the r5 5600x

To be honest 10 series is not a bad card but when it comes to new games that are coming out it’s best to overclock it.

Yeah, it's actually a decent upgrade, more than 2x the performance.
I'd try to get a 1060 or RX 570/580 instead though, as they're usually not much more expensive than 1050Tis on the used market, and that's another huge upgrade over a 1050Ti.
I mean im a fan nvidia and i wanna make a clean pc and like i said i will have 0% bottleneck with my i5 9400f + gtx 1050 ti in my country is only 150 euro @@zWORMzGaming

Beast of a GPU the 1050ti!! I still have it and i play games easily!! But the problem is that you need to play a lot with settings!! You can hit easily above 60 fps stable in a lot of games but you need to manualy see what is the bottleneck in any game and you solve it with the settings!! The only thing i can say im really really happy owner of the Gigabyte 1050ti!

I thought competitive settings were all low but epic view distance, I mean you need that far view to catch the enemies far away
the render distance for enemy players is the same regardless of view distance
UE5 can be optimised for great fps performance on lower end gpus ….. it would be great if all UE5 titles were like this so everyone can play the latest tiles without the need of an RTX9090 to get 1440p 144fps!
Yup! The finals is another great example of that :)
That's because Fortnite is designed more so with performance in mind than quality, the development team is also huge and budget is massive, so there is more time and resources to optimize. They make the game run really well for older GPU's and also (if put on max settings) looks amazing, even though no one will use those settings aside from casuals with good hardware.

It depends on the amount of pixels. Stuttering wise no.
If you use 1280x1024 for example, it'll get better FPS than 1080p (1920x1080), but less than 720p (1280x720)

Cpu has a huge impact on gaming i see people with the same gpu on half fps. Unless you got a good cpu you wont reach as near as he does

@@zWORMzGaming I didn't know performance mode actually stuttered I've been running it on 100% 3d res low textures and medium view distance but since you push it to the max in these videos it's probably why it stutters

Yeah, it happened to my son's PC on a 1050 ti too. I even upgraded the processor but he was not happy. They upgraded the engine in Fortnite & it broke it..
