Epic
This scene is an example of how a supporting character can take away everything from the main leads. I literally cried after this scene.
She is not supporting character . She is one of three of lead cast .
Yes I agree
@@arshsingh5254 yes perfect words of yours
So true 😭
She got padmasri after this movie
She was hurting so much when she asked him never to enter the room. But had the self respect to do it, even though her heart and soul were crushed. Punishing him hurted her equally.
And his ego was so huge that he didn't say a sorry to her , it was "agar humne tumhe dukh pohchaya" ofc he hurt her, didn't he know that. She deserved a heartfelt apology.
I think she must have denied to do his aarati also. Self respect is extremely important even more than love. That's why I have lot of respect for Madhav Rao Peshwa, he was loyal to Ramabai throughout his life and even denied second marriage for child.

I hated the movie because it showed much less of Bajirao the military leader who never lost a single battle and focused only on his domestic issues.
Same. I can feel each word she says. The blow on your self esteem once someone cheats on you. It takes so much time and effort. It took me 5yrs with intense therapy. Can't imagine having to live with someone who cheated on you. She had to because of the times. It's a blow each time you see them.

😍
Yes true
Why do I want polyamorous representation?
Because when someone doesn’t want to date me because I’m poly it’s ‘understandable’ but when I don’t want to date someone because they are monogamous it’s ‘ridiculous.’
Because all relationship advice tells you that if you have feelings for someone else while you’re in a relationship you’re a bad person.
Because even feminists try to slut shame me.
Because when I tell people me and my partner have an open relationship they assume it’s because we’re going through a rough patch.
Because people equate ‘multiple partners’ with ‘predator’ and think everything I say is an attempt to get in their pants.
Because I am fed up of love triangles as easy plot devices in my media.
Because the LGBTQA+ movement are so desperate to show ‘allies’ they are ‘just like everyone else’ that they shit on everyone with a non-monogamous dynamic.
Because being bisexual shouldn't mean that I have to choose which gender I want to spend my forever with... Or exclude me from a happy forever.
Because when a monogamous couple have sex with each other every night it’s having an active sex drive. When I have sex with a different partner every night I’m a nymphomaniac.
Because people assume polyamory is just about multiple sex partners instead of multiple *loving & committed* relationships and instead conflate polyamory with swinging when they're totally different lifestyles.
Because people think that monogamy = validity, always.
Because monogamous hetronormativity is so ingrained that I don’t even feel like I can dance with someone without telling them the complete logistics of my love life.
Because people genuinely believe that raising a child communally is damaging to development.
Because when I say ‘I could never be monogamous’ I get dirty looks.
Because too many people have tried to confide in me when they’re cheating because ‘I thought you, of all people, would understand.’
Because I can’t talk about my relationship troubles with my monogamous friends because ‘I always have something to fall back on.’ As if my relationships are meaningless.
Because being Polyamorous isn't an "alternative lifestyle", it is just how I choose to live *My* life, so I can be happy.
Because being Polyamorous does not mean I'm afraid of commitment. I am able to commit to many types of relationships. And love more than one person.
Because it is unfair to ask any one person to be your/their everything & it is a lot of pressure on me to try to be any one partner's everything. It can take over being authentically themself if a person allows it to.
Because needing multiple or different kinds of energy/chemistry does not make me greedy or selfish.
Because actively encouraging myself to stretch out of today's social constructs of "love" & experience true compersion has made me a better person. I also experience more open, honest communication & healthier, less codependent relationships than when I was living a monogamous lifestyle.
Because holding a partner while they cry over another partner is not wrong, or weird. It is an absolutely amazing expression of the love I have for them. I hurt with them/for their pain because I encourage their happiness & fulfilment as much as I do my own.
Because when I’m struggling with an illness, there is more that I need help with than one person can/should be responsible for. Each of my partners adds something vital that better helps me to thrive.
Because it shouldn’t be odd when my partners become friends. It’s healthy for them to be able to talk to each other about their ups and downs with me and have someone else who understands. It gives them more support to discuss how they have each become more self-aware, resilient and emotionally/mentally healthy because of our dynamic.
Because polyamory doesn’t have to be about sex. I have multiple non-romantic/sexual partners that are just as, if not more, important than my sexual/romantic ones.
Because I can love multiple partners & not have a "favorite", in the same way a parent can love multiple children & not have a "favorite".
Because my other partners beside my husband are important to me and I want to feel comfortable saying "my girlfriend made that" instead of "a friend made that"
Because I adore my husband, and he and his girlfriend are so damn good for each other.
Because I should get to express myself in my relationships the way that I choose that feels aligned and right for me and those involved
Because I will be ashamed only when & if I've done something legitimately wrong.
Feel free to add more "becauses" to reflect your CNM
Insta: @thebuddhadoula & @passionatedemons if you'd like to see more representation🙏🏼💕

When I watch Bajirao Mastani for the first time I only watched Bijirao's and Mastani's Love and their chemistry. But now I understand the Pain and Sacrifice of Kashibai. The way Priyanka portrayed the characters give life to the character. She is brilliant just outstanding.
Yes
PC brilliantly showed her talent in this film. This scene itself is a whole institution. She looked so real here.
We should have a movie on the Kashibai's prospective. How she faced the betrayal. How she saved Mastani and lastly looking after and nurturing Mastani's son in a positive note.
yes
@अरिन चेंदवणकर cant change the fact kashi was better than both of them 😌
@अरिन चेंदवणकर ohkk I don't know the real history in deep but the point that it used to happen in old days or not bajirao shouldn't have married another woman and mastani have no right to claim her love to a married man and ask him to marry her! It just states one thing they were selfish! While kashi bai could have left mastaani's son of his own hm after her death she chose not to and took care if him like her own son is what you call love, care and self respect! She wasn't a warrior who used to fight in battles but apparently she was a warrior in life!
@अरिन चेंदवणकर why are you talking about real life? Here it's a movie! I am telling from the prospective of a movie!
@अरिन चेंदवणकर whatever, the movie was a block buster anyways and practing "poly" marriage is quite bad regardless of politics but anyhow that's how people lived back then.

Priyanka did really brought the blood to the character of Kashi just like Ranveer did with Bajirao.
Though work of Deepika could have been slightly better. But that is not to say that it's bad or average or something. Still pretty respectable performance by all three main lead in general.
5/5 🌟 for Ranveer's Bajirao,
5/5 🌟 for Priyanka's Kashi,
4/5 🌟 for Deepika's Mastani.

The best part is when Rao sits beside her and she pauses for a moment, looks at him and feels that once, Rao was her's. Just her's.

@@poojapulad.5255 oh OK
She did the right thing...by telling him not to come in that room ever again.👏🏻
Emotionally i agree with you. But logically speaking, this (multiple marriages) was a common occurrence for kings at the time. By banning him from her bedroom, kashi bai actually lost a form of power over bajirao and became weaker politically. Irl, a queen or consort wouldn't have done so.
@@mnggnm1907 don't justify
@@mnggnm1907 he is not a king
@@mnggnm1907 Bajirao was a brahmin. That marriage wasn't legitimate as they are monogamous. There is no logic other than that.
Also. Kashibai's family is the reason why Bajirao has money to war at the beginning and rose to his legendary status. His family was a political social climber and Kashibai's family is a powerful merchant family that is lending money to the Sultanate. The Sultanate is the man above Bajirao's position. In western terms the Sultanate is king and the Peshwa is just the prime minister. That war had to be funded and was very expensive as they showed in the movie.
*The conquests themselves yielded little if at all in their coffers and Bajirao brushed it off and told his men the "riches" were from their victories in war instead.*
This is why Bajirao's mother was reluctant to accept Mastani and went to great lengths to oppose the unlawful union despite Mastani's father giving them dowries which Bajirao and his brother were just spoils of war. They will loose their monetary power by angering Kashiba's family with the infidelity, who is their biggest ally in their country. They will risk dishonouring the family image that Bajirao went and won wars for. Which speaks volumes to how Kashibai conducted herself through this whole ordeal as being the most faithful wife.
Had Kashibai acted righteously, the Peshwa would be just like the military activities of France until the beheading of King Louis XVI. They were succesful because they had military power that was taxed on the backs of the working poor which led to their anger and the eventual fall of their royal bloodline. They will all be put to shame and Kashibai will be a widower regardless, albeit with her dignity intact.
Think of how much Kashibai thought of this and decided to be selfless instead for the sake of her own country. She was the only hero in this movie.
@@ladymadamblueberry agreed 💯 she is the only hero. I’m actually disgusted by Bajiro n mastani
You just cannot beat her talent and skills...look at the way she performed... she made kashibai's character immortal....we know what are we missing.. please come back... @priyankachopra

As was the real Kashibai as well. She loved and supported her husband even though he found love with another woman and brought her to live in Kashi's home. While Bajirao may have received a lot of criticism from his own clansmen for keeping a mistress but his wife Kashi supported him. For her, her husbands happiness was more important than anything else. Not just this Kashi also supported Mastani and Bajirao's son after Bajirao died. She made sure that Bajirao and Mastani's son got his inheritance after Bajirao's untimely demise. This son was so grateful to Kashibai that he fought against the Mughal emperor of the time in support of Marathas even though he was a Muslim. Just like Ram and Sita, Bajirao's achievements are celebrated as a warrior and somehow the woman's silent strength of enduring through difficult times solely on the basis of their moral strength gets overlooked.

yeah sometimes world sees sacrifices of one side and refuses to even accept sacrifices of second side. I love the way she described the pain of Rukmini devi she also had immense love for shree Krishna and that was the reason she went against her own brother to marry him and wrote letter to Krishna and planned her own elope and Shree Krishna also reciprocated the same feelings and that is the reason why he went Vidharbh to elope with her before she gets married to Shishupal. Just because their love story was completed none praises it. "Aap humse hamara guroor cheen liye" her tears didn't stop while telling this 😭... True pain ... She was strong enough but ... While her husband married other woman it was her biggest defeat 😭😭❤️
What a helpless n heartbreaking scene this is. What Kashibhai must have gone through. She probably wants to scream n shout n pull him back. But how do u stop a person that doesn't belong to u anymore?
why do anyone want such a pervert pig back
krithika das show some respect
lmao
krithika das true .. someone who is obsessed by some other woman... who wants him
the way Priyanka said aap ne humara gurur hi chhin liya with that expression I loved it
Same thinking here... She nailed her acting skills to highest
Sahi hai
Truly the dialogue touched my heart nd still exist in my mind d way Priyanka said it
Can u plz explain that dialogue for mee
Priyanka's character deserves an applause here and so her character portrayal delivering every emotion into bits :)
All talk about Priyanka but Ranveer also nailed it... Expression before leaving is heart touching 🥺
OMG. .I'm crying. .Priyanka is absolutely breath taking ..Amazing
This scene always makes me cry only a broken girl would feel it
Please translate..even though I don't understand but her tone of voice & facial expression paints a heartbreaking picture.
@@queenie3lw216 She said If you would have asked me to give my life i would have gaved you my life happily But insted you snatched away my pride from me( sorry for bad English)
True!!!😭😭😭
Girls get heartbroken too ?
Aapne to humse hamara ghuroor hi chheen liya
I've watched this particular scene so many times, I couldn't control my emotions 🥺it's so painful to express this emotion 😖she done a great job and dialogues were awsm
"Paraye logo se kya sikayat karna....ghav to apno ki jyada chubte hai " 😶👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Deepika kabhi Mastani lagi nahi !! Wo Deepika hi lagi !! Par Priyanka real Kashi bai lagi !! Priyanka's acting speechless !! Ye scene maine kam se kam 25 bar dekha Kashi bai ke liye
Mee too😆😆

2:02 uski aur humari tulna to ho hi nhi skti... Heart Touching Line 💙
I love this scene. Her strength in expressing her pain so calm and clearly and his pain yet respect of her boundaries. Both of them clearly upset and tearing up… gods it’s good
Log bhale bajirao mastani ko Yaad kare but agar sacha Pyaar kisi ne kiya hai toh woh kashi ne ❤️ usse Yaad rkhna chaiye
I agree
Crct👍👍👍👍👍

Well said
But public dusre wife ko yad rakhti h jaise Radha Krishna , jodha Akbar, bajirao mastani etc
See her eyes. To all haters shouting out there that PC is not a talented artist and she got just a few roles accidentally, just look at her eyes.. She was living as kashibhai with all emotions. For me Bhjirao is special coz of PC and Shreya. I think she had done a much better performance than Deepika in this. How gracefully she carried her emotions. PC is a blessing to Bollywood who actually know what 'acting' is not not just glam!
No one says she's not talented she's the most powerful and thr most popular actress in india deepika has along way to go !! But priyanka is priyanka she made a mark in Hollywood too both gone to Hollywood where deepika now nobody knows her nobody recognizes her!! Hats off to peece she's the real queen thr mother of talent expression!!
Of course you are right but mastanis role itself is one dimensional, there is nothing deeper to show,so how can the actress show anything more than what the character entails
@@santanubanerjee6765 I agree the role could have been written better. The writers were so focused on making her a "noble princess" they really didn't have much else.
Nd also ranveer singh... Just see 2:57 manje 😭😭😭
@@santanubanerjee6765 She has many instances to show , one is when she talks to kashi and kashi calls her a slut. Deepika could not act at par Priyanka and it is evident in that scene. The problem she acts the same in every character. Her diction is same, her emotions of crying is same and her body language is same in padmaavat, bajirao and ramleela.
She is the one who does one dimensional acting.
Actually Priyanka Chopra is big actor😍😍 she killed her.....job 🔥 Priyanka Chopra big fan of you ❣️
What a best combination of marathi and hindi ... Deepness of the words in every dialogue .., heart touching expression of priyanka is just outstanding ...many many salute for unforgetable story .. 👍👍🙏❤
That final scene where they show Priyankas face one last time is amazing. The way her jaw is shaking. Priyanka stole most scenes in this movie. Mind blowing
+Peace Yeah but also the way her face expression changes, by squeezing and then opening her eyes when she actually says the famous line.
yes
Ya she is awesome
jaw shaking kuch nahi tha bhai..!! tune kahan se dekh liya..!! shayad low resolution me dekha hoga tumne.. jaw shaking lag raha hoga :P
Oyee andhe gaur se HD on kar aur tatolke dekh 3:23 aur nahi dikha na ankhen chech karale badnasib!
At 1:09 Priyanka looks at her husband with lot of love and admiration.. Ranveer doesn't even notice it and is in a hurry to finish d conversation n leave.. It looks like kashi bai wants to fight with him, question him, shout at him.. but does quite opposite by letting him go.. Women of integrity!
Priyanka is undoubtedly the best and most human part of this movie. Her acting as Kashibai is so raw, you can literally feel her pain.
2:32 that look on Ranveer's face and that slight eye-roll, so much pain in that sudden expression. Kashibai is expressing her pain and heartache through words, but Bajirao is expressing through his facial expressions...
When she speaks about guroor, it literally pierces. So well done 🙌
Yes
Asma Kulsum what does guroor mean?
Ace It means ‘pride’
Hitesh Anil thanks
True that.
That moment - "Par aapne toh hamse hamara guroor chhin liya"
Excellent way of expressing your emotions Piggy Chops...
😍😘😭❤️👍
Priyanka done the role well. I cried a lot seeing this scene. She is talented actress. God blessed her.
Priyanka Chopra gave a wonderful performance in this movie. She looked so beautiful in traditional Maharashtrian sarees.👌👌
The way priyanka hold her tears and said that mavioulis lines ..was just speechless ...🤐
I can feel that line of “Ghaav to apno ke zyaada chubte hain” 😢😭💔
Priyanka really nailed that dialogue 🙌🏻
It was nailed straight to the heart💔
See
Best scene of the whole film. Ranveer’s was mind blowing. His expressions matched Prinyanka’s intensity in every shot.
I love her voice. I could listen to it during a headache
This is such a pain for a faithful wife,i wish no one go through this🥺
Her eyes told the heartbreak. The exact emotions I am feeling.
Masterpiece... this scene sums UP what excellence in every aspect of filmmaking means
No matter how many movies I watch. I always come back to this.
This scene stays in my heart rent-free.
These lines, Priyanka's acting.
Everythung is outstanding.
