The alternative you suggested they are working on may be is to use the snapdragon 865 to capture 960fps straight from the dram-less sensor. Qualcom has stated the 865 soc is up to the job, and the benefit will be unlimited capture time (memory permitting). This is most likely how Samsung is doing 960fps on their s20 using the same IMX555 sensor. Thoughts?

I grew up with sony products throughout my life. I will outline about photography since photography is my hobby; I always look for camera features in smartphones before anything else. There are a few things I'm disappointed about Sony and Xperia 1ii: 1) Sony was a top-notch tech giant in the 90s compare today. Marketing could have been better. 2) Could have a premium-like exterior design like an iPhone 11 Pro. 3) Could have a night-mode feature and performance of a Pixel 4. 4) A slow-mo feature taken away on Xperia 1ii model. Also, it could perform better in low-light conditions in previous models. 5) Could include a 360° sphere photo shot like on Galaxy S7. I'm waiting for an announcement of Xperia 5ii.
@@welost2night445 mine is 2 years old too but it's not lagging. Maybe a rogue app is causing it. I think there are diagnostic apps that could identify the problem. Or just do a factory reset and install the apps back one by one over time and see which is causing it.

That's nothing what you mentioned. The phone looks good, has no notches and cutout. And good specks also, flat screen it's big plus, headphone jack as well
There is no official information about type of UFS used in the phone and price. 1200 EUR was just a speculation. The only price we know now is about Xperia L4 which is 199 EUR. Regarding super slow-mo: it sad they skipped it, but in return Xperia 1 II can shoot in 2K/120fps. Quite impressive.
240 fps and 960fps slow mo videos are a gimmick. You can mimic that on a third party app, and plus the quality of super slow mo videos never looked good anyways.
@@ShellymanStudios Right Now Xperia 1 II has 2K(!) 120 fps slow-mo. I think it's much more useful than 1080p@960fps and is much better quality than what competition offers.
I agree both fps SloMo are gimmicks, but isn't that we like about Sony? However, as a brand, if Coco Puffs gives you cereal; then say we'll take out the chocolate, and later change the shape. That's how I feel when they take out any major feature. A 'Life Style' brand is suppose to make it easy to use their products, so they are sheerly too lazy to switch change to something new and difficult to learn. It feels like there's always an uproar on the newest flagship, but this time is something I feel Sony put some thought in bring back some features back like; Unlock finger print power button, 3.5mm jack, and Qi wireless charging.
1:14 Moreover, Samsung has also improved the timing of 960fps to a full 1sec. This is really sad that a company who introduced it, removed it instead of improving it. Hi - I currently have an iPhone XS Max 256GB, haven’t upgraded to iPhone 11 Pro, have had apple for years and years, I’m thinking of going to Android and getting this Sony handset, a good choice and upgrade? want it to be 5G ready, but am I able to transfer all my videos and photos and notes from my iPhone to the Sony ?? Any advice would be great 😊
Marketing is really Sony's biggest problem when it comes to their smartphones. And honestly it baffles me. It doesnt matter how good a product you make you still have to advertise/sell it to people. Guess what...... Apple, Samsung and Huawei in part sell a lot of phones based on a deluge of advertising. The average person really does not know how an Xperia is different from a Galaxy or an Iphone etc..... They tend to buy what is successfully advertised to them. There is a reason Samsung and Apple (im sure Huawei too) have massive advertising budgets in the realm of billions. Most people dont even know that SONY makes smartphones...... which is ridiculous when you consider the number of people that have, buy or are fans of their Alpha cameras, PlayStation, headphones 🎧 and earbuds, Bravia TVs, Speakers 🔊 etc.... Whats more is that its not as if Sony is a small company or has no money. Its a multi billion dollar conglomerate for fucks sake. They could certainly up their advertising budget. Especially given what an iconic name/brand Sony is.
I don't agree to marketing aggressive like those "Marketing leaders", but some marketing would be great to introduce their new technology. But I know Sony don't want to ads like a cheap brand. But other competitors just flooding like a cheap brand therefore people know more about cheap brands.
@@Evolionz I dont think aggressive advertising is necessary. But certainly more advertising is needed. As I said.... People cannot and will not buy what is not sold to them or what they dont knlw exists.
ufs2.1 is a misunderstanding, they never clarified it officially but it’s got to be 3.0. The 21 was just a mark of number for citation in their official website.
2:16 The Xperia 1 II may have UFS 2.1 but it has 256GB which is double the capacity of most flagship phones, the speed should be on par with UFS 3.0 @ 128GB because UFS tends to be faster at higher capacities.
The only drawback of the phone is the 8gb of RAM. It could be 12gb and the phone would be top for at least 7 years. Price tag is steep but I change phones every 6 - years so it s worth it. And I have been waiting for this phone a loooong time. Absolutely amazing. IMO worth every penny
charging cord is short, no usb c to usb a adapter as cord is usb c x2, google search bar at home screen instantly moving , only 5 fingerprints settings you can save, music app its from stone age, fingerprint scanner not as good as in samsung s8, sometimes doesnt work, sometimes doesnt recodnise figerprint
No return of Xperia Actions (good night, focus, commute, abroad), 3.5mm jack (4 pole) Active Noise Cancelling for feature earbuds (an interesting feature to bring back when WH-MX1000M3 and noise cancelling are well known), Glove Mode, Upload own Live Wallpaper, Vivid (X-Reality) Mode, Write on screen with any object (a Xperia Z Ultra feature), no Walkman branding and features, camera mode: sound image, I still miss mini mirror, front face flash, screen record, Dynamic Vibration for game rumble and not just music alone, PAL solution. I agree on loss of Super SloMo 1080p@960fps. I don't agree on 128gb version as it should be higher bc of price, flagship, and prevent planned obsolescence 256gb be bumped to 512gb (OS takes up 16gb). I am happy for the return of the 3.5mm jack, wireless charging (resurrected from the Xperia Z days), and dual front facing speakers finally, LDAC, RAW capture.
My biggest disappointed is the display, it always been like this with sony , they look like first generations of monitor, colors are dead and icons feels to be too deep under the glass (unlike other smartphones display which everything feels above the glass like you're touching it)
My feeling is that it will have UFS 3.0 but it's weird that Sony doesn't specify... The 1II has everything I thought was missing in MK1 and made my buy the s10 instead: bigger battery, more RAM and storage, wireless charging, 3.5mm port. Also has stereo speakers and SD card slot, not standard in every phone. The new cameras and 5G are exciting too. The Exonys s10 drains battery like crazy on 4G so I always have it in 2G/3G whenever I leave home, so I can't wait to replace it. The MKII feels like no compromises except that I also wanted the white colour :(
There is still hope for 960fps on the Xperia1ii. Although its 'claimed' the main camera sensor IMX555 doesn't have stacked memory which would have enabled it do 960fps capture (I haven't seen any official Sony documents stating if it does or doesn't have onboard memory). This is the same sensor that is used in the Samsung s20 which does support 960fps slow-motion, it is unclear how they achieve this but if the sensor really is dram-less then it would be achieved through the bus bandwidth of the Qualcom 865 soc (the 865 is stated it can capture unlimited 960fps slow-motion video!). Now as of yet Sony have not let anybody review the Xperia1ii, I personally believe its because some of this phones specifications have not yet been finalised. Enabling 960fps capture via the 865 soc can be done through software... so maybe just maybe.... ;)
I just got the sony xperia 5 ii .. i had a samsung galaxy s10 before .. my number one problem with the sony is the call quality.. every time I call someone the first thing they say is "could you speak into the phone!?" .. i do dammit .. it's overall quality is just too low .. .. i love that it got a headphone jack and micro SD card slot.. but you can't really use it as a cellphone.. but i don't have many other choices because a phone without headphone jack and micro SD card slot are 100% useless to me .. and samsung phones now a day is just a better iphone.. so useless
It's not a big deal to me, I never felt waiting to access data so UFS 2.1 or 3.0 to me it is fine. About slow mo Censor with Dram will be no longer needed since Qualcom will natively support 960fps unlimited time with this 865 Snap Dragon so then let's see if sony will add it soon as possible and if this 865 can handle the size of this new censor...
Samungs super slowmo is sonys teck.. its old and uses smaller pixels with worse light sensitivity Samsung needs UFS 3 for capturing 8k (of crap old pixels then upscaled for worse zoom) Samsung should not have botherd because the combination just over heats the phone and fills the storage with crap over up scaled images The above is why it needs more storage and ram.. Samsung are just doing the best they can with old teck to keep up Sony does more with less because its just better all round..
Will have to wait and see reviews before we can judge actual photo and video quality. While Sony as a company are obviously a leader in sensor market and using good optics helps, they have never really compared to flag ships that has better computational post processing. This is software thought and can be improved over time To me personally in 2020 256GB storage should be the minimum and they should offer a 512gb option at this price Only real let down for me personally is the 3x optical zoom when other flagships using periscope designs are hitting 5+ optical. Hard to believe that a company like Sony that is such a huge global leader in Cameras are just out "innovated" each year. Like the companies culture internally of being conservative rather than pushing the industry forward just means the Cameras on Xperia mobile always feels like it's a year behind
Sony's marketing is definitely a disappointment, I remember when waiting to hear about xperia xz premium, asking sony mobile UK on messenger for its release date saying the usual they don't know to keep an eye on the website for it only to be released the same day I got that message, it seems even the staff don't know what's happening. These are disappointing things but it will still be my next upgrade. Appreciate your videos keep up the good work.
Are you serious. The colors, not enough options for you lol, who cares. And ufs is 3.0. Marketing, again why do you care about that. I’m happy that not too many people having the phone. And the storage space is too much. Making the phone too expensive. Flagship phones from other makers are even more expensive. Disappointing features lol bs. If you can’t come up with anything better than that, you shouldn’t make a video of it. That’s what I think.
I agree with you on the colours I've had black or navy colours for quite some time With the Xperia 1 I wanted to go for the white or grey, but there were only 2 colours. Now the same is happening
@@godakuri5944 I've seen a couple of pictures from a Japanese website and the definitely the purple looks grey in indoors. I'll probably pick black, boring but classy. Last year's Xperia 1 in grey was astounding.
Well, we still need to see the official news about UFS and the Price. So we should hold on those. Really excited to see the reviews when it comes out!! 👆🏼
You missed the resolution of display. As getting 4K@120Hz is extremely taxing and no brand does that. This phone is definitely not for competitive gamer as there are phones more suitable like ROG Phone 3 launching bit later. For regular users 4K@90Hz will be good enough. Well at-least SONY is offering 90Hz S/W processing for smoother experience than basic 60Hz which even if it dint offer it would have still been fine as we are getting sharper image output and much greater resolution.
TWO MAJOR PROBLEM WITH THIS PHONE 1 - Audio is not loud , just dolby atmos but not good like a non- premium phone (LG still rocking with Audio along with HiFi Quad DAC) 2- There is no good Stabilization in video recording
I can happily trade in a 20fps auto focus tracking capture over 960 fps video as this can expand your smartphone photographic capabilities from capturing candid and action shots. This is what 20fps looks like from Sony's professional sports camera, the A9: czcams.com/video/ww8HT_FbL1g/video.html I doubt Samsung, Apple, Google, and other Chinese smartphone brands can do that.
I think it is a differentiate for the product. 960p Super slow motion for the old phone, but the new phone Xperia 1 ii come with 16mm, 24mm, 70mm cameras, it is great for capture people and lifetime photo because these lenses are great: - 16mm is the result of a full frame wide angle perspective - 24mm lenses are great for full body shots or even for photographing about 3/4ths of the body. - The 70mm offers a very nice zoomed close-up, This lens is a great stepping stone to a variety of focal lengths. This is what a photographer wants. Furthermore the Camera Pro app can choose automatic settings or manually control ISO, shutter speed, white balance, and more, then output to RAW (.DNG) with an interface that’s inspired by Alpha cameras.
I'm a massive Sony fan when it comes to smartphones, but I do understand why you're disappointed with the removal of those features, and the thing about Sony's marketing... I didn't even know that they'd removed the 960fps slow motion recording...but I suppose they can only go so far with the software... And Sony's poor marketing (lack of advertising) is one reason why they don't exactly sell as many of their smartphones as other phone companies... They should start having their phones advertised on TV... I honestly can't remember the last time I saw a Sony phone advert on TV. BUT, I think it *might* have been the XZ Premium, I'm ot 100% sure... It's one of the best smartphones that Sony have made, the specs look mouthwatering, especially the return of the headphone jack, but I don't think I'll be buying the Xperia 1 II anytime soon. I think my next phone *might* be the Xperia 1. And I know this has nothing to do with your video, but on on the Music app, which's Sony's own music app, not long ago, they removed the metadata function, which's one of the app's best features... I'm really disappointed with the removal of that, why did they remove it? I hope they bring the metadata function back...
The very definition of feature is ‘a distinctive attribute or aspect of something’... Pretty sure a phone’s colour is part of its distinctive attribute
Other than these disappointments, 6. No 3d curve screen And Plenty of bezels 7.thiker than others, 8.fast charging is not up to mark like others are providing 50 w charging capability. 9. No 8k recordings and slow motion recordings has been not updated since long time. 10. poor front camera there should be the two camera at front. 11.hybrid zooms are not upto marks like their competitors are providing now days. 12. refresh rate is as low as 90hz it should be 120. 13.The design is old fashion,no improvement in this. all the xperia 1, 5 and mark!! Look same . xperia xz3 was far better than this in the term of design 14.They always talk about camera but get the lowest score in Dxo Mark camera rating, and performing worst in them. even Chinese companies are doing far better by using Sony sensors. 15.Still the price is super high and that never come down.
6. 3d curved screen is not durable & reflects light & some contents hide beside the edge. The tiny bezel has better grasp & its better than notch/pill/waterdrop/punchole that block on your notification bar & those notchs always aware there not bezel-less either. 7. The thickness is slimmer than iPhone 11 Pro, so your fussy comments please give it to iPhone 11 Pro. 8. 50w fast charging looks good but don't know how the sealed battery lifespan can be used, maybe the rush work are not a good treatment for the battery. That's why Sony's Battery Care is one of the solution to held the charging from over work. 9. 8K recordings just a gimmick, 4K 60p is more than enough and 1080 90p with stabilization must be better than plain 8K. 960p Super slow motion are good, but the Xperia 1 ii has ZEISS optics, Real-time Eye tracking AF, 247 phase-detection AF points, Photography Pro app save Raw file... Source : www.sony.com/electronics/smartphones/xperia-1m2#product_details_default 10. Front camera 8MP is fine and enough for selfie and video calling. You are not using it for blogger videos, other competitors flagship also don't adopt OIS+EIS and larger pixel size and ultrawide sensor for front camera, high pixel without OIS+EIS are useless for blogger videos. 11. Hybrid Tele zooms such 100x is good, the more is the best!? I don't think so. IMO sony Xperia 1 ii has focus on lifetime/lifestyle photos which is better for people especially the eye tracking & 16mm 24mm 70mm camera sensors to make capture photography even more better. 12. 90hz refresh rate is fine, consider 120hz use up more battery, so that's the compromisation here. Normal job 60hz can be done flawless, 90hz would be better, but 120hz is much a stress to the battery endurance. 13. The Xperia 1 ii design is great and better than those brand with notch/pill/waterdrop/punchole, you can only find Xperia L4 (entry-level) get waterdrop but Xperia 1, Xperia 5 and Xperia 1 ii (flagships) don't have this problem. The dedicated camera shutter button is still there you can't find it on other brands. The dual front speakers & the 3.5mm & side mounted fingerprint scanner & wireless charging are all come back such a bunch of cherry top on a cake! Most importantly it does not come with Giant Black cameras module to ruin the phone aesthetic. 14. Since Dxomark take Bokeh and Zoom in their score calculations, it show how business works not the Photography works. Marketing leader hype it to expose their products, but the Bokeh are so fake if there are more than one object to capture, why this can be taken into the score!? Marketing Leaders need. 15. Wish Sony can reduce the price and reward their fans (but not for hater). I found other competitors selling their flagships are expensive too some are even expensive, consider Xperia 1 ii have much improved overall and impressive technology. Alas I don't see you giving your negative comments there, so it looks much shady on marketing.

I grew up with sony products throughout my life. I will outline about photography since photography is my hobby; I always look for camera features in smartphones before anything else.
There are a few things I'm disappointed about Sony and Xperia 1ii:
1) Sony was a top-notch tech giant in the 90s compare today.
No 960fps super slow mo?!?!?! 😲 😲 😲
That's a cool feature on my XZ Premium...
🥺 unfortunately not... the XZ Premium is still an amazing phone 😁👍
@@AndreiSmantana yes, apart from the battery life... 😐
@@AndreiSmantana by any chance do you know why my xz premium lagging, is it because I got too many downloaded apps or because it's already 2 years old
@@welost2night445 mine is 2 years old too but it's not lagging. Maybe a rogue app is causing it. I think there are diagnostic apps that could identify the problem. Or just do a factory reset and install the apps back one by one over time and see which is causing it.
@@ZoltanF1LH I got over 150 appstore 😂
Whilst the 960fps is nice (have a few video of that in my channel) it's not exactly a deal killer, so long as it has a better overall camera system.
No slow Mo is a big deal (writing this message on my XZ Premium) so I'll have to see.....!🧐
@@azmadu slow mop is nice but not an essential, I still have an old xz premium, that does 960fps at 720p and my driver driver is the xperia 1 which does it at 1080p, however like i said its nice but if the camera sensor is larger im willing to trade that off. Mind you if you need slow-mo
I agree
How often can someone record videos in slow motion...people really want sony to have every single feature and not just the nest but the impossible. Give them a break. Haha.
Also this guy talks about being disappointed that it doesnt record in 8k...you dont need that omw🤣🤣 4k is good but idk
correction at 1:21 Samsung introduced it should be Sony. btw .......great video and yes hope this time they release this handset in more countries.........
Oops... 😁
I bought the white Xperia 1 from Amazon Germany as it was not available in the UK, I will do the same with the Xperia I 11. Germany always seems to get the full range of colours. Arrived very quickly last time, no issues. It was the 1st time I'd used an overseas Amazon site.
They are extremely slow on releasing cases and screen protectors that is disappointing i have got my device but can't change to it because no protection at least nothing for the purple one. :/
Some of the missing features may be on Sony Xperia Pro Version but Sony are deplorable when it comes to marketing their smartphones.
Have you ever heard of SONY XPERIA 1 mark II LIMITED EDITION???
That's nothing what you mentioned. The phone looks good, has no notches and cutout. And good specks also, flat screen it's big plus, headphone jack as well

I’m glad you enjoyed the video 😁👍
There is no official information about type of UFS used in the phone and price. 1200 EUR was just a speculation. The only price we know now is about Xperia L4 which is 199 EUR.
Regarding super slow-mo: it sad they skipped it, but in return Xperia 1 II can shoot in 2K/120fps. Quite impressive.
240 fps and 960fps slow mo videos are a gimmick. You can mimic that on a third party app, and plus the quality of super slow mo videos never looked good anyways.
@@ShellymanStudios
Right Now Xperia 1 II has 2K(!) 120 fps slow-mo.
This has taken nitpicking to an extreme
My only disappointment is Sony taking FOREVER to release their phones
1:14 Moreover, Samsung has also improved the timing of 960fps to a full 1sec.
This is really sad that a company who introduced it, removed it instead of improving it.
Also, please check this link:

It has some info on its UFS and Ram type.
I just hope their actually using UFS 3.0 and LPDDR5 Ram...

Any advice would be great 😊
Agree with what you say.
God Sony can be so frustrating at times.
The only real disappointment is the release date. Maximum 2 weeks after announcement. Recommended memory: 256 standard, 512 and 1 TB optional
Xperia 1 ii used ufs3.0 .Why do you talk without knowing anything?
It is UFS 3.0
2:16 The Xperia 1 II may have UFS 2.1 but it has 256GB which is double the capacity of most flagship phones, the speed should be on par with UFS 3.0 @ 128GB because UFS tends to be faster at higher capacities.
Really don't care about 5G tho especially the its not widely available as for 2020. Would appreciate a 5G less version with a lower price tag
Only dis point meant this what Xperia 1 should have been.
exactly
Unfortunately I'm not seeing the Xperia being alive for much longer. The device is dropping with every release
Hopefully the recent restructuring within Sony will lead to positive things for their mobile division 😀👍
@@AndreiSmantana there hasn't been a recent restructure. I mean there was 2 or 3 years ago but that hasn't heeded any good results :/

My biggest disappointed is the display, it always been like this with sony , they look like first generations of monitor, colors are dead and icons feels to be too deep under the glass (unlike other smartphones display which everything feels above the glass like you're touching it)
This phone has ufs 3.0
My feeling is that it will have UFS 3.0 but it's weird that Sony doesn't specify... The 1II has everything I thought was missing in MK1 and made my buy the s10 instead: bigger battery, more RAM and storage, wireless charging, 3.5mm port. Also has stereo speakers and SD card slot, not standard in every phone. The new cameras and 5G are exciting too. The Exonys s10 drains battery like crazy on 4G so I always have it in 2G/3G whenever I leave home, so I can't wait to replace it. The MKII feels like no compromises except that I also wanted the white colour :(
More RAM drains battery and is unnecessary.
Not true, the marks two uses 3.0 ufs. Just not the latest UFS 3.1
Enabling 960fps capture via the 865 soc can be done through software... so maybe just maybe.... ;)
Unlike the Galaxy S20 and S20+, the Galaxy S20 Ultra does not support 'true' 960fps Super Slow-mo video.
Ay get your goofy ass on here Dre boy! The phone has been released!
А какая модель сенсора основной камеры у него?

I just got the sony xperia 5 ii .. i had a samsung galaxy s10 before .. my number one problem with the sony is the call quality.. every time I call someone the first thing they say is "could you speak into the phone!?" .. i do dammit .. it's overall quality is just too low .. .. i love that it got a headphone jack and micro SD card slot.. but you can't really use it as a cellphone.. but i don't have many other choices because a phone without headphone jack and micro SD card slot are 100% useless to me .. and samsung phones now a day is just a better iphone.. so useless
0:38 Is it such a big deal?
1:21 he says Samsung introduced instead of Sony :)
Im sure my dissappointment is the fookin price
😂
3.5mm jack FTW!!! Fuck the FOMO phones who got rid of it.
No Wireless charging ?
It's not a big deal to me, I never felt waiting to access data so UFS 2.1 or 3.0 to me it is fine.
About slow mo Censor with Dram will be no longer needed since Qualcom will natively support 960fps unlimited time with this 865 Snap Dragon so then let's see if sony will add it soon as possible and if this 865 can handle the size of this new censor...
Samungs super slowmo is sonys teck.. its old and uses smaller pixels with worse light sensitivity
Samsung needs UFS 3 for capturing 8k (of crap old pixels then upscaled for worse zoom)
Samsung should not have botherd because the combination just over heats the phone and fills the storage with crap over up scaled images
The above is why it needs more storage and ram..
Samsung are just doing the best they can with old teck to keep up
Sony does more with less because its just better all round..
If Xperia 1 ii is priced at 1200 Euro, it will be the biggest disappointment. I hope will be price about the price of S20+, if not slightly less.
690fps, marketing, price really disappoint me
1:22 SAMSUNG INTRODUCED ... WHAT ?
😂
these guys will never b satisfied with any specs
Will have to wait and see reviews before we can judge actual photo and video quality. While Sony as a company are obviously a leader in sensor market and using good optics helps, they have never really compared to flag ships that has better computational post processing. This is software thought and can be improved over time
To me personally in 2020 256GB storage should be the minimum and they should offer a 512gb option at this price
Only real let down for me personally is the 3x optical zoom when other flagships using periscope designs are hitting 5+ optical.

According to Xperia Taiwan, Xperia 1 mark 2 will use ufs3.0 and lpddr5😁
Are you serious. The colors, not enough options for you lol, who cares. And ufs is 3.0. Marketing, again why do you care about that. I’m happy that not too many people having the phone. And the storage space is too much. Making the phone too expensive. Flagship phones from other makers are even more expensive. Disappointing features lol bs. If you can’t come up with anything better than that, you shouldn’t make a video of it. That’s what I think.
I agree with you on the colours
I've had black or navy colours for quite some time
With the Xperia 1 I wanted to go for the white or grey, but there were only 2 colours.

You missed the refresh rate on display🤐
You missed the resolution of display. As getting 4K@120Hz is extremely taxing and no brand does that. This phone is definitely not for competitive gamer as there are phones more suitable like ROG Phone 3 launching bit later. For regular users 4K@90Hz will be good enough. Well at-least SONY is offering 90Hz S/W processing for smoother experience than basic 60Hz which even if it dint offer it would have still been fine as we are getting sharper image output and much greater resolution.
TWO MAJOR PROBLEM WITH THIS PHONE
1 - Audio is not loud , just dolby atmos but not good like a non- premium phone (LG still rocking with Audio along with HiFi Quad DAC)
2- There is no good Stabilization in video recording
Damn no slow mo.. That's rlly disappointing for me cuz I use it alot on my xperia xz premium
Just edit it
I can happily trade in a 20fps auto focus tracking capture over 960 fps video as this can expand your smartphone photographic capabilities from capturing candid and action shots. This is what 20fps looks like from Sony's professional sports camera, the A9: czcams.com/video/ww8HT_FbL1g/video.html I doubt Samsung, Apple, Google, and other Chinese smartphone brands can do that.
A disappointing feature of the xperia 1 ii is Sony's marketing hahahahahahaha ... the only thing disappointing is the jump you did in the intro
Plz tell me we can purchase sony xperia 1 with compare other flagship phones
this is one the best 2020 phone for me samsung copy sony any time weather super slow motion nothing new for samsung
I think it is a differentiate for the product. 960p Super slow motion for the old phone, but the new phone Xperia 1 ii come with 16mm, 24mm, 70mm cameras, it is great for capture people and lifetime photo because these lenses are great:
- 16mm is the result of a full frame wide angle perspective
- 24mm lenses are great for full body shots or even for photographing about 3/4ths of the body.
Some great points 😁👍
@dom toredo, basically, it's a feature where you can get artwork for the artist of the song. Look it up if you wanna know more.
When did color become a feature? Lol
The very definition of feature is ‘a distinctive attribute or aspect of something’... Pretty sure a phone’s colour is part of its distinctive attribute

Other than these disappointments,
6. No 3d curve screen
And Plenty of bezels
7.thiker than others,
8.fast charging is not up to mark like others are providing 50 w charging capability.
Look same . xperia xz3 was far better than this in the term of design
14.They always talk about camera but get the lowest score in Dxo Mark camera rating, and performing worst in them. even Chinese companies are doing far better by using Sony sensors.
Source : www.sony.com/electronics/smartphones/xperia-1m2#product_details_default
@@Evolionz so according to you it's best right, limited fools still belive on this. but you will never get to know when it's gonna come and go, and people's of globe refused the Sony brand that's why now its only stick to Euproe and Japan. @@jairajpuri2165 IMO It is spinoff when they try anything. But yet they find out the 21:9 ratio is the best ratio and can be standardize. The other negative comments from your mentioned above are only show your beloved brand (I know it is Samsungs) making some of the (shady) Marketing promote, yes they try anything also but it doesn't say it is the best either, example the edge screen, the big curved have morphing the edge image, another example the Samsung S20 series doesn't bring back 3.5mm but their fans now silence...
