Imagine a former president of the US encouraging Russia to invade NATO allied countries. I'm from Denmark and we just achieved the 1,5% / 2% GDP for military. We're trying to enhance our military. But it took a lot of work and we even lost a beloved holiday. For other countries, achieving that is even more difficult. But we're all still NATO allies with the shared belief that the world shall remain free. I encourage you to read up on the history of NATO if you haven't already.
