Just use shadow prison on 2 nearby rabbits and then shadow sneak them ( 1 cast is 5% of codex umbra, you use 2 casts so it would be 10%, you get 2 guaranteed nightmare fuel which is equal to 50% repair, which is net profit of 40% just as you are walking by, no need to build anything at all)
Instead of the grass walls just use a Boat. The rabbits cant jump off and getting on and releasing them is super simple. Also since Maxwell is an absolute beast at leveling forests, you will have enough wood for the think tank and boat kit in no time.
I love seeing strats when it comes to Maxwell, how i normally get my NMF early game is ill guide 1 rabbit to another and cage them. Then i snare and kill. 2 NMF for the price of 10% is pretty good. If you can cage 3 rabbits and snare then kill you'll get 3 NMF for the cost of 10%. I find this is a easy way to get NMF early and it lets you to still be on the move and explore.

Early game, shadow prison + Shadow Sneak on bunnies are more efficient. Mid game(After ruins rush) Bunny men are just better. Late game shadow pieces + gunpowder.
I can kill 5 rabbits in day one without anny building. Find a place with lots of holes. Wait till they go out. Place a berrie on the ground and wait till 5 of them come near, shadow prison, than shadow trap and kill

My thoughts exactly. I don't remember if rabbits doing new rabbit holes if you dug them up. In that case there wood be sense to cage them
