Didn't see too many last year but they are definitely not endangered in the Nordic countries at least. In spring they are usually all over and a real menace out in the countryside. They slap pretty hard. ^-^
@@andyisaac582 Search the dense lowland forests along the Swedish border in Östlandet. You'll find them all the way up near Trondheim with a bit of luck. Not that uncommon if you go out in early spring with perked ears.
