I really loved the family aspect and seeing around skerries! Even tho I'm not Irish (I'm northern Irish ahahah) I can relate to it and I just loved seeing a sea side town as we don't see that in Belfast!! Seeing your little walking adventures and your family relationships was Defo the best, I want you to Defo vlog more:)

Your chat about social media being fake and what you said is very true about the Instagram and waist thing and you never grew up with social media but you still done that, I'm 17 and social media only really started to become part of my life (more popular) during the last year of my first year of secondary school and really into the 2nd. I never fell into the loop hole of wanting to be skinny due to the models, yes I'm no size 0 nor will I ever be but I have defo realised that there is more to life than that. I also agree with comparing yourself part and we are all guilty of that st some point but you grow to realise that this is your life and you live it with your own traits! I love you Melanie and happy new year to you!
Your chat in this about social media and comparing yourself to others was WONDERFUL, I watched this with a big cup of tea in bed and I was just nodding along the whole time
I could honesty write a fucking page on everything you said! So many agreeable points, just on the money with everything. Basically voiced literally so much stuff that is going on with me as of the past few months regarding the positivity, finding myself even more and living now. Ugh the relatability is cliche as hell, but undeniable lol! Honestly enjoyed this series so much! The only person I've followed each video of this vlogmas series thing. I'll wrap it up with my favourite moment, which isn't so to speak a moment but more my favourite vibe was viewing such positivity and pure joy that you clearly are emoting lately it's so refreshing and enjoyable to see somebody also find such peace in life after too, having struggled with hardships, weight, mental health etc. Bless you lady, you truly are a pleasure to follow the journeys. Wishing you, Bilbo, Dad & Brother a fabulous new year and I hope it brings you all ever more peace, joy and happiness. Xxx

I think my fav videos by you are the ones where you talking about life issues like social anxiety, comparing your life to others and being unsatisfied ect. I use to be terrified by the thought of going to the store or out to a party or even talking to the person beside me in class. Like you I started with small things like small trips to the pharmacy to overcome it. For me hearing you speak about your experiences and how you've overcome them is reassuring. You have my ever lasting respect Melanie!
aah, the last vlogmas for this year. it's weird that we're all so sad, because it's not like it's the end of your videos... it's just the end of vlogmas. but i still feel all bereft! you're just a delight and we can't get enough of you.
my favourite part about vlogmas was when you and your brother took a walk around your village and talked about your family history it was so cute and sweet especially when you irish danced out side your grandmothers house i found that so emotional love you lots melanie xx

My favorite part about your vlogmas was seeing how different things are from where you live. I would love to live in a place that isn't constantly changing! You are amazing! Happy New Year from Texas!
Yes, I tend to be a little OCD sometimes. Watched your whole set of vlogmas just to see a few seconds of your Hyrule shirt :D I have the crest of Hyrule on my leather jacket, right next to the skull & crossbones, kind of "metal". I'm a bad person to offer suggestions, since I like whatever you do. Even if I just leave the CZcams on auto-play and it flips to a makeup vid, I still let it run since I find you positive and inspiring. Even when I'm pretty sure you don't mean to be, like when you talk about something kind of sad. I always get a chuckle when you mention "nostalgia" and you're still so young. To me, nostalgia is remembering things from before you were born, since I'm just a little younger than your da. Living in the US, for me the internet is the ability to see somewhere else and remember that the world isn't all shite. Yes, I am an American, but I spent some time in Europe and remember a bit of "the Queen's English" and tend to use it out of habit when I talk to friends in the UK. Couple more days and I'll be able to finally pre-order your book and Anne's cd, likely tweet to promote both of you and maybe a friend in Sweden so her Twitter and CZcams blow up with new people since she's still in very low numbers. Does music "covers" and makeup vids. Sorry for my rambling. "Don't follow a person because you want to 'be' that person. Follow them because the have a nice bum." Thank you for being YOU
I am speechless. This was one of the best vlogs ive seen and everything you said was so true and inspiring. I am so sad that vlogmas has ended :( Please make more vlogs in the future, i think that im definitely not alone when i say that i love them. This is my favorite Vlogmas of them all. You always inspire and motivate me even when I'm stuck in bed with fibromyalgia and ME symptom flare ups.You remind me that I can do anything I want, so working on my blog and new business is entirely possible despite feeling like sometimes the world and my body is against me.
