- One of my favorite camp spots to run small scale RCs. Hope you guys enjoy this run. The Traxxas TRX4m Bronco with Furitek Stinger Combo is now waterproofed and the stock electronics on the Trx4m Defender are waterproof out the box. These things rock! Get it!?! Hahaha. After submerging my trx4m multiple times on my channel I can confirm that it is indeed waterproof

I’m guessing by the water boiling up in the interior that you left the outrunner “unsocked” and it seems to have done fine. I’d like to see how you do maintenance/cleaning on that motor if you have time to do so. I got a couple of Holmes Hobbies motors to try out but am still waiting on crawler gears to show up. After trying the 66T with crawler gears to see if gives back any top end I may try out the Furitek combo and would like to see how you maintain yours.
Yeah got invited on a one night moutain bike run so figured bring some rc trucks to the spot. I had no time to protect it so I just tried my best not to go into dirty water or mud. I recommend taking gearbox apart and adding some lubricant to the motor bearings and using a water displacer on the bushings and metal parts. Get water out of tires as well. Before you run in water I recommend grease on all the bushings and metal parts to prevent rust.
Could u please help me out. I'm not good with this brushless system it came in a trx4m chassis that I got in a trade. Komodo motor and ultimate ESC. I have the app and been messing with it but I still have cogging I have the crawler gears in. Is there something on the app I'm supposed to turn up and down to get rid of that. Please any info would be great

@BPPCUSTOMS appreciate it! Just a tip, after you run in water just make sure to run your rc out of the water for a bit before putting it away to give the motor time to dry up inside and help it from rusting and jamming up.

yup! Run them stock in water no problem. Just make sure to run it for a little out of water before putting it away. That will hopefully get the motor dried up inside and help it from failing prematurely.
It won’t mess up the ESC or the motor
Because a motor and ESC is a lot
@@BPPCUSTOMS stock esc is waterproof out the box. The motor is the only thing you really have to take care of and Bearings if you have them installed.

The only reason I have not installed my Furitek komodo is because I want to keep my trx4m waterproof
I can't keep away from the stuff! I had to do it lol.
