God loves us all equally, eternally, immensely and without exception. Religion has only gotten across a fraction of that for too long when the opposite should be the case. Thank you for a beautiful interview.
    Blessings to all.
    Paz y luz.

    Thank you so much Pádraig!
I'm in Western Oregon, and our Church (American Baptist) is a Welcoming and Affirming congregation - and we are one of several different churches in our town that are inclusive - it's been a journey!
The pride festivities during the month of June includes a number of downtown businesses which openly support the LBGTQ+ community, and the last Sunday of June we hosted a mini festival at our church.

I have long struggled with the conventional teaching of the Church and my lived experience of God as Love when it comes to homosexuality. How can the Gospel be Good News unless it is Good News for ALL? How can a God who is the source of all beauty and goodness turn his back on his own children for being intrinsically themselves? It has been the greatest source of cognitive dissonance in my faith. Padraig, you have been part of God's answer to me. I am deeply moved and grateful that there are LGBT people of faith courageously living their lives and refusing to split themselves into two. Thank you for your courage, your wisdom and your beautiful poetry.

I honestly don't know what people mean by "God". I have no idea what that little 3 letter word means. I just know about love. I think love is what Jesus meant. Nothing else. No dogma. No religion. Just love.

What a lovely, deeply articulate man. I have just started "In the Shelter: Finding a Home in the World," which I highly recommend. Thank you for sharing this video.

I wrote his quote about seeing love as a miracle in my phone so I could carry it with me always. Thank you, Pádraig, for your beautiful theology.
