She told in media that item songs are bad and she won't do it. Fairness creams are not required to be endorsed. She doesn't endorse products which are not appropriate to be used. She voiced against disparity in payment for women. She felt like doing this much and that's enough for now.
People always try to find mistakes in her but why cant they see her struggle,honesty or get inspired from her hard work....she is really inspiring for me

The interviewer does not understand the nuance of Kangana's thoughts and opinions. All she wants to say is that India deserves 'thinking creatives', not ones who follow popular opinion. She is someone who questions everything wants others to do the same. Indians swoon over Meryl Steep's speeches and now that we have someone who thinks beyond herself and has views on what is good for her country, it gets too much to handle. What a shallow interviewer!

Your weath, your caste, family name, race, your physical abilities or your gender allows you to live a life in which you likely will not be a target of bigotry, attacks, deportation, or genocide. You don’t want to get political, you don’t want to fight because your life and safety are not at stake.
It is hard and exhausting to bring up issues of oppression (aka “get political”). The fighting is tiring. I get it. Sure your Self-care is important. But if you find politics annoying and you just want everyone to be nice, please know that people are literally fighting for their lives and safety. You might not see it, but that’s what privilege does.

I think what Kangana meant about Ranbir Kapoor's statement was that it is irresponsible of him to say that I don't care about whatever is happening in the nation because my personal life is very comfortable and I'm privileged to live this life. But the fact that he is able to live this comfortable and privileged life is because of people's money, who go and watch his films and make them a success. Therefore he should be answerable when it comes to public/national issues. He cannot just simply have this careless attitude towards it, afterall he too is a citizen of this country and in fact is a public personality which he himself chose to be through the choice of his career.
