    You are literally a life saver. I would go to the bathroom 3 times in the middle of the night. I tried your method and was pleasantly surprised to visit the restroom only ONCE!!! Thank you, thank you, and thank you! You and Dr. Mandell are the two best doctors on CZcams!😊

    A side note. Breathing in really deep ALSO really helps oxygenate the blood which helps the whole body but most important while exhaling from a deep breath you are moving and cleaning the lymphatic system (the body sewage system) 15 times it's idle breathing rate. This will help with body endurance and energy simply because it is not working so hard fighting the toxins that you just removed by deep breathing. This is why athletes have a much lower sickness and death rate than the general public because their body is so clean of toxins. Also, deep breathing relaxes and releases stress from the body and helps to reset the stress hormone back to normal function. Excellent advice in this video.

    I'm in the process of retraining my bladder based on yours & others teachings
    This is supposed to correct to normal bladder function
    1. I do your pelvic floor exercise 2 or 3 times a day
    2. I do 20 kegal contractions after each time I have a pee
    3. I try sometimes unsuccessfully to resist having a pee when I get the first urge
    4. I find it hard to hold my pee after the first urge
    5. Dr Eric do you have any tips for holding my pee when I get the first urge
    6. I was informed that this method alongside kegal contractions & exercise will retrain the bladder in 6 weeks if done religiously
    Please help

    Dr Eric, I have just done these exercises. I have been going to the bathroom every two minutes. Will these exercises make my bladder stronger?

    • @DrEricLeckie
      @DrEricLeckie  Před 3 měsíci

      Yes, they will help you hold your bladder a bit better. You’ll also need to look at what fluids you’re putting into your body. Ex: caffeine and sodas can irritate the bladder and act as a diuretic along with alcohol.

    Dumb question but should pelvic floor stretches be done before OR after kegels? Or both?

    • @DrEricLeckie
      @DrEricLeckie  Před rokem

      Not a dumb question at all. I would pick one stretch to do right before you do your kegels. For example: Do the happy baby stretch and complete 2 sets of 30 sec holds and then jump into your Kegels.
