The worst part of Legend difficulty is the Referee, it's like they can tackle you Hard all they want but the moment you just add a little pressure on them it's a foul and a yellow card!

There's no way that's legend dificulty. Whenever i play in legend things get stupid and scripted, my team start's making silly mistakes, it's like my players get downgraded and my oponnents get upgraded 99 GER. You cant pass the ball or receive a pass without your oponnent on your back humping your ass or kicking you legs to get the ball (and for some reason it's not a foul when they do it but it is when i do it).
Since 2019 or maybe earlier it's that dumb, No new bro.

@Junior: that's exactly what I think about legend difficulty. The AI doesn't get better, you just get a sh*tton of disadvantages. Even if you have the best Players in your Team, they act like total sh*t... That's not fun, that's just total insolence. I loved to play Master league on the highest difficulty, but not in efootball 2021.
it's not legend...the pressure is intense in legend and here they r hardly pressing...
I've found that going from Pro to top player.buttons decide not to work,my players constantly fall over always losing tackles, opposition players are like brick walls,To make the game harder everything is against you from kick off.
Theres no superstar or legend level, its just lazy Konami, as usual, making the com 99 stats and yours become like...40
superstar is still ok but legend responsiveness is just annoying haha. cant hold the ball for a second at the middle of the field

Not true...Legend difficulty is more responsive and hardly allows you time on the ball that's why it is more difficult than superstar.
9 games, 8 losses and 1 draw.
I lost all games 1-0 or 2-1... but i lost them all.
Its always last trough ball that gets, too strong too weak or last second block.
Plus, De light outran Sterling in all situations; plus, striker sometimes "obviously " starts like slowing down or like running on spot until CB catches up to him.
No hate; still playing the game; but wht is happening to sports games? They make people more violent them GTA or MAX Payne or whatever they used to claim is violent.
after couple weeks, i can beat legend mode..just defend till 60 minutes, their stamina would decreased..
To be honest, this doesn't look like legend mode. No way you can get the ball so easily in front of your own box! Also, on legend mode the cpu always uses high long passases to get closer to your box with no effort.
The big problem with pes is that the AI assisted is nil... Your teammates never move in the open spot not place themselves wisely
yup, its so annoying. its fine that the COM is cutting off passing lanes, but at least let our teammate try to move into other spaces instead of just staring at the ball

I just install PES2021 recently, and I have to agree with you. It's so annoying that when a player has the ball (both ours and COMs), apart from the one that we're controlling, everyone else in our team are just standing still. That's actually what makes the game difficult.
Legendary difficulty in friendly mode and ML mode will differ a lot. In ML mode when you win Com continuously, they will change tactics to counter your strategy. Then you have to combine all other attack strategies, not just the wing attacks as in this tutorial.
you are right. when we win continuously or win by a big margin, the next game will be harder. this happen in friendly mode too. to avoid this "scripting", reset the game.

after recent maintenance, legend difficulty feels much more harder. and superstar got harder too. so, its more fun to play superstar now, quite balance. previously, you can still score a lot, but now 2 or 3 goals only.
I like legend it’s hard and makes you work for it but the last game I played was just a joke. Every shoulder barge I made was given as a foul and every tackle on me was not. Also everytime I got the ball after a few strides my player was dispossessed it was so annoying.

I am quite good player,i have won several times against legend comp,once i have scored even 3 goal,but to be honest it is unfair,try to play for example against japan and all of sudden osako turn to a god out play a whole defence and scores epic goal,sometimes a match finish without me making any kick can you imagine how frustrating for a good player,you feel helpless

ur right made i made a match with liverpool in vs mode on superstar difficulty and beat them 4-0 then i started a new master league and my first match was with liverpool they ffukin beat me 2-1
Against the really good teams, my team feels handicapped, stuck in mud, can't perform the basics, can't retrieve the ball and like others have mentioned, I can't play as physical as the CPU. Also on this difficulty, it always feels like my players are slowest to the 50-50 balls which can be really costly.
I'm playing Master League with that super bad sunday league original team (except for Q.Arqas he is pretty good). Played it Top Player difficulty, get promoted in my first season and qualified to UCL in my third season. And become EPL champions next season. I was like "this is too easy". And then i started over with Superstar difficulty and still figuring out how to get promoted in my third season. Superstar difficulty is so frustating. The gap between it and Top player is too far. They dont make it challenging, they just make my player dumber and opponents op. And after i had lose streak and about to quit, the game just like " oh no keep playing. Here i give you 5 wins in a row. Keep playing okay dear :)"
yeah. and at higher difficulty, you can notice that your player positioning is horrendous (too passive). hard to pass the ball around.

I played Master League and was in the 2024 UCL final against Spurs who have only 80 rated players in their team while I have 83 rated defenders. End up restarting the game 10 times because I always concede stupid goals like deflection, 50 yard long pass straight to the strikers, rebound, ball went straight to AI after I made a great block or tackle. And most of the goals came from their first shot on target cause I always have more possession, but whenever I lose gje ball it's a sure goal for the AI. It's like it's scripted for me to lose, I tweaked my tactics and formation and its still the same. The game is truly broken but the gameplay is so god damn addictive and every shot, pass, block, and tackle feel rewarding when you get it right. The only problem is all that reward will go down the drain when the AI decide that they want score, and they will always find a way.
*the agony of playing using keyboard (imagine how hard it is to manually switch player to block passing lane, doing skills and stuffs) just add to the misery lmaooo

@@sniperheroes3082 Hi, it's more enjoyable to play with a joystick. Playing with keyboard limits gameplay style, I can't do skills except for body feint, and other skills that only used direction button. The major issue is, you will need a keyboard that allow more than 4 keys to be pressed at the same time or you will struggle to do chipped passes or shot. I guess the tips would be, get the hang of the mechanic, then adjust the feel when you play with keyboard. Configure the right stick as the number 1234 to make it easier in set pieces. Focus more on passes, breaking down the defense since you can't really use skill. I've played with Keyboard since Pes 6, and Fifa too but I really won't recommend it. Joystick is far better :)

Hey..great vids thanks. Wondering why you went red when ai did? I've found that going blue when the go red somehow gives an advantage.. even when I dont win the games i tend to score in that time.. I've only been playing for 6 months so your vids help a ton thanks!
going blue will make some of your forwards to fall back which is suitable if you want to defend and build from the back. going red will make some of your midfielders and fullbacks go forwards which is suitable to press up high and counter attack.
i think by going the same mentality as the opponent, it kinda cancel out. if they go red, then they wont have players behind to pass around making it easier for you to press in their half when you go red too. if they go blue, they will have a lot players behind which make it hard to breakdown, so its better to go blue too so that you can build your play slowly. which mean going blue when the opponent is going red works too but you have to defend in your half instead of pressing high and when counter attack you will have less players in transition.

What formation were you playung
This year's legend is more fun compared to pes 20, pes 20 was unplayable at legend. Pes 21 at least let me outrun defenders with my pacy winger unlike pes 20. But still the OP Ai is annoying, not to mention the nerf to our player. Really hope they fix this somehow. The problem is that Superstar feels too easy, the AI barely have any shot, but the legend is just too god damn OP.
Yup, the nerf is so annoying. We definitely need another difficulty between superstar and legend

If you ever play become a legend mode, the difficulty is also a joke, the higher the difficulty, the dumber your teammate AI (to make it harder), but the opponent AI is the normal Legend. Such a shame cause I absolutely love pes 21 gameplay more than fifa.

Yes. Our player is nerfed. COM passing is very accurate it become almost meaningless to pressure them.

i got some game with lag too, depends on the opponent. but definitely need to use cable. if i use wifi, 100% confirm will be lag.

oh, i thought you meant online. for offline i think depends only on the computer performance. try changing the vsync setting in the game setting before you start the game. and try playing on window mode.

Actually I have a pc that has more than the recommended requirements, with a 144hz G-sync compatible monitor, capped at 141FPS. Legend difficultly, Milan master league, derby match vs Inter. Thats what you called a challenge, challenge not to break your controller. Scripted to the hell, even if you’re good at tactic, you understand the game well, how they move how they attack, you’re composed, relaxed, didn’t rush, i mean you did everything correctly, apart from they play like on drugs, you have to deal with stupid refs, godlike gk, and the crossbar.
yup, legend difficulty against rival is always going to be bs. the COM is faster and your player positioning is awful.

The legend difficulty is where Konami makes our players so weak, So slow, so stupid and then make all AI 99 stats.. It's OK for me when they cut out all our passes and become hulk but why just butcher our players to make the AI better? They read out input and respond before our player even takes the command. If You doubt this.. Take on an opposition AI.. Run straight line with them and then try to turn.. They will turn before Your player even execute the command and that shows how scripted it it.. Are we gonna talk about rebound that always gets into their players? You defend some of their unreal passes and instead if Konami leaving Your players to react normal when You defend, they will butcher his rating and make him pass the ball to the opponent when You press to win the ball.. The game is totally unfair in Legend difficulty, The AI can shoot and score a clean goal without even turning to face Your Post but Your can't score one on one against their GK. What about Freekick? I never knew Lewandoski is such a good Freekick taker that he can score from any angel and everytime... This game is total bullshit.. Our players always react like they are wearing Body armor, They can't run, they can't shield, they can't shoot. Imaging They slide You and miss while they fall and You are still standing or You both collide and they fall down, before You are able to control the ball, they will stand and then shoulder bash You with a great speed that never exist in real life until You lose the ball.. When it comes to speed Our 99 Speed and acceleration Mbappe can never outpace Their 78 rated Defender even from 6FT away.... This game is so dead.. I can't even list all the robbery they do.. These are the ones I can remember and I regret buying this game whenever I'm playing with AI.

even for me SuperStar is so annoying because i have 10-12 big chances every game but i finish 0-0. Once, playing in ML, i made 6 results 0-0 in a row. Now i play on Top Player, is more realistic for me.

do you find it harder to use a less skilled team? Or is it an exploit your sussed and can always win regardless of the team you choose? It seems like at least the Ai is stil giving you some challenge. Konami needs to improve the ai attacking ability. They seem to do a lot of the same things over and over.
definitely harder to use a less skilled team but it is possible to win. the main reason i suggest to go out wide and score from a cross because the COM AI is aggressive. so, when you pass the ball to the CF, there will be about 3 or 4 players closing down on you, making it easy to lose the ball. the AI certainly can do with some improvement. but you can use L1+X (1-2 pass) or L1+RS to move your teammate around to have some variety with the gameplay.

My tip is knowing when to use the press button. Instead I run at them holding the super cancel buttons.
yes, usually you want to tap the press button when you are close enough. if you just hold it, the player going to chase from behind instead.
What is the super cancel buttons?
@@akamaru7753 super cancel button is pressing R1 and R2 at the same time. it cancel any command by you or CPU. for example you can cancel pass or shot. you can also cancel chasing a ball.

@@ITZLFFL i found the loop hole, i just turn on the tiki taka strategy, magically all my players suddenly become actively asking for ball and gives me soo many passing course, they can no longer intercept me, 6 passing minimum can get me inside the box, and voila, my win rate increase dramatically, and i also set marking setting, so that lewandowski (munich) must always be guarded by two player and muller also, it was amazing strategy for me, and also, if they force u into penalty shoot out, try holding RT while moving analog button to fine tune ur shoot, i make 80% penalty accuracy, and when COM take their penalty, i paused the game and analyze their body movement to know wheter it was left or right, lmaoooo thats cheating, but thats what they get from nerfing my favorite player

yes, this is legend. the COM can sometime be really crazy which i do believe the game is a bit scripted, so dont get discouraged to keep playing on legend. i had recently upload the myclub legend challenge. that one is for sure legend difficulty since i got the legend agent from it.

@@ITZLFFL played another 10 times on legend impossible for me the games a scripted mess 100% game doesnt allow you to tackle and 80% of my passes go to the other team! it deliberatly makes your palyers make mistakes constantly i play on super star and win np not to mention the shooting lol theres is 100% acurate and mine doesnt even hit the target
superstar is a lot more fun for sure. against legend, you feel like you are not in control. your team positioning is horrible too.

how to dispossess the ball like these? for me it's almost impossible to get the ball from legend ai without fouling them.
run manually without the X (press) button. get close to the side of the player then hold the R1 + X button.

Looks nothing like playing against a legend team I'm sorry to say. The team you are playing against are making too many mistakes and your players are never stumbling or tripping over a blade of grass whenever an opponent gets within 5 yards. Sorry I like your content but this is nothing like any legend team I have ever played.
One of the main reason i do not play legend difficulty for my formation series. Its hard to discern whether its really legend difficulty or not. Ive posted multiple vids on legend challenge which should be really legend difficulty because of the unpacking of two legends afterwards
@@ITZLFFL Fair enough. To be fair the video is from some time back I believe. I have been playing PES for many years and at the moment the Legend challenges currently in MyClub are really nothing like the video you posted. They never make any mistakes, but I guess they did back then. At the moment the 'cheatiness' just seems to be turned up to 11, making the game just not fun at that level. On your vids I noticed some nice through passes which in todays PES would never have got through, or the reciever magically 'stumbles' just as he gets the ball and loses it. Enjoy your vids though guy, hope there are more to come.
@@rubberdinghyrapids8528 in my experience, the com seems to be a little bit more clever now. a lot of variation to their attack. and they are much more responsive. very hard to press. they can turn at the last second. its definitely a lot harder now.
do u play offline only?
previous year i played offline only. this year i started playing online too.
@@ITZLFFL what's ur review on online cause i switched back to offline cause online is so bad.
online i think is a bit better than legend com because legend com is too responsive. hard to pass the ball around and dribble properly. but i concede a lot of stupid goal online, so in term of fun i would say superstar > online > legend.
@@ITZLFFL well said my friend but superstar is random like some games in masterleague are too easy and only in the latter stages of the master league or derbies are challenging. In the euro 2020 mode legendary are actually decent i am loving it so far.
yup, superstar can be random. while it is usually easy, sometime it can catch you by surprise and score goals. legend in 2020 is the best i think. its in between superstar and legend in 2021.
I beat them 10: 1 in the 20 min match and I also won 14: 1 and a large number of matches 9, 8, 7 and 11 12 .... It is very easy for me and I have a record of matches
